Sold my '94 N/A for $8k mid 2007. Only had ~$1200 stereo, catback exhaust and rims... no kit or anything. As Jess said.... it was a 17 year old dude who just got his licence and I think it was a mix between parents not wanting him to get a turbo and cheaper insurance etc.

How much was it?

camera focus fail.

I rang up a reputable workshop yesterday and the dude that answered the phone said he's ask the tuner whether he knows anything about the compatibility of the PFC with A-LSD. He rang back today and said something like "The tuner said that they are compatible, but you will need some rewiring done which we can do for around $600 drive-in, drive-out..." I'm like lolwut!? I told him I was fine and don't want that.. I should have asked what rewiring is done exactly for $600.

Just a guess.. but, wont they just be a 2nd immobiliser that uses a code instead of pressing a button on your remote? I'd say it's just a separate little unit.

well this is what i know that has happened in atwell chi: - car got keyed but some punk kids near the school/shops bnr#@: - some people nicked stuff from in his gtr while it was off the road (from memory?) jess: - old car got window smashed but it didnt break completely and they got nothing? - someone just tried to steal her gtr - kids loitering out the front looking suss one night (its prob that damn park and they could just run in there and hide easy) as for the cops hassling jess, could just be a complete wanker neighbour that doesnt like cars with exhausts, who is always ringing up and whinging. lots of car scene people come to jess's for drinks every now and then so there are alot of cars out the front sometimes. i've never seen any hoon behaviour though.

any more news on this issue?

Just get yourself an R33 series 1 turbo, and a stock ecu flash tune. Whats that like $700 or less? I dunno how much the R32 ECU retune costs. But a stock R33 turbo is about $300?

Might have been a flame pop out someones exhaust and lit up the area with a flash.. or someone flashed their high beam headlights

They look like the ones I have as well. Got them $60 I think, from JShop. Thread is fine, but some of the anodising has gone from the key and they get little rust spots.. so after a while they start looking crap

Sorry, should clarify incase you're not sure how it works? or for others.. All the settings on the SAFC at 0 = normal ECU tune. A tuner will adjust these + or - a bit at certain rev ranges to get better air/fuel ratio's at those revs. The ECU thinks it's sending AFRs to the engine components, but the SAFC intercepts those signals and adjusts them, and then sends them on. What a sneaky little russian eh?

Just leave all the settings on 0.
