  1. Whre are you at and what are you after, stock or rose joint type as i have a spare set of stock R32 gtr castor rods sitting in my shed

I might be wrong but i fought it was going to a R36 and they were going to skip the R35 as a GTR altogether, from what i've heard because it is suppose to be a full run not just limited like the 32 was just to race them that it will be about the same price as the 32 was when sold here ( $ 110,000 )

Yes many factory race teams probly do use motul oils but 300v we can buy of the self not likely, 6 bar 3000 rpm is to high when the recommended pressure at 6000rpm is only 451 kpa ( 4.51 bar, 65 psi ) as per workshop manual ( page 39 - en-22 ), the first engine spun number 6 big end which i'd put do to tight off camber corner and the oil pick up drying out but the second one was all 6 and mains and to me thats oil failure, which was not my point to start with, the point is stock or near stock GTR street driven buy any oil thats full syn and it should be just fine

Not sure could be alot of things but lack oil certainly not i have always made very sure the oil level was just over the full line ( about 3-4 mm ) before every time i went on to the track, both happened on very hot days ( 30 DEG and up ), one at Wakefield and one at Eastren creek and so i've stopped doing track days when its over 30 DEG and that seems to be working.
  5. 10w 40 and two engines, oilcooler on second, unless there's somthing inside this one i don't know about but it should be stock and been in place for 3 years. The factory workshop manual recommends 7.5w 30 sg grade ( but thats for japans weather ), 4.2 liters without filter change and 4.6 with.
  6. hello guys i own the black one, i ran 11.86 then 11.87 and got told anything from 11.99 down you have to get the licence and was told to get the licence or don't line up again, $ 120 for one more run, not worth it
  7. I've lost two engines using motul 300v doing track days, after the last one i switched two Nulon 15w50 full syn and a dozen track days later still going fine ( over a period of five years )
  8. Autobarn, been there tried that and they have problems with getting stuff from Japan, try Access engineering
  9. Access engineering in melbourne have Apex'i intake kits for z32 ( 80 mm ) afm in GTRs P/No i was given is NO51

I had the same decision when i was look for a skyline and you are the only one that can decide what you want, personly i wanted a good allround car ( drags, track, daily driver ) so that meant for me a GTR was the only option and same the car yard had both 32 and 33 for $5 grand differance so i drove both and felt the 32 the better of the two for to drive, so my advice is decide what YOU want the car for and which one like to look at more and go testing.
