G`DAY LAD`S,I had a chat with the lad`s FFG(force fed gas)with regard to going to dedicated gas system,ONE thing that iam looking for is a better tank set.One problem with the Stagea is all the shit around the current tank set up,i would like to pull spare wheel floor out & put flat setup in (will be looking into this big time)with the hope that i would be able to put best size tank`s in.cost is going to be a BIG issue ???.I will be going into have a look at some of the tank system`s they currently using so i will take some photo`s,Hope to have them get Stagea up on the hoist & have a good look around it so we can look at some sort of system setup,Hope to have some good info next week.cheer`s chuckie

WELL LET`S SAY That a 18in fan WILL NOT(WILL NOT) PULL ANYWHERE NEAR THE AIR THAT TWIN`S WILL.you will find that twin`s will shift alot more than you think,i had 16in on my DD & it struggled to keep it cool.Do you understand that big is not allway`s the best.With the 15 to 30 amp running it will take some 40amp`s on start up.I have a 120 amp alternator on my DD,The cost will shock most people $350 may be more for 120 amp alternator,That if you can find one the same other wise it a special job,Then you have to make sure that it is that rating,But i did say at least 85amp no smaller.IF you go to wrecker`s & look at most thermo setup`s they run small fan`s not BIG.I think you that you will find that most truck`s run clutch fan`s,I dont think i have ever seen 18in eletric fan on truck`s,I WILL POST SOME PHOTO`S UP WHEN I DO MY THERMO SETUP.TRY WATER SPRAY ON INTERCOOLER,I think that you will need temp sender`s +thermo switches with that setup so is that cost wise worth that ????????GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SEARCH DUDE.CHEER`S chuckie

G`DAY LAD`S,some of you need to READ,& TAKE INFO IN SORRY FOR BEING BLUNT BUT REALY.as with regard to 18in fan you will need some big alternator to keep that running,you will need to upgrade any way with thermo`s so don`t forget that at least 85amp as we all have clutch fan.sorry to say that the 16in fan are rubbish you will need more air flow than it will supply so don`t waste your $$$ .IF YOU WILL LISTEN NISSAN MAXIMA ,Have twin thermo set up same size rad as most nissan`s just different tank`s so that should help you all out,you will need to make some mod with air con pipe`s etc,one other to look at is the ford mondao top fan set up that will do a great job i had a set on my vc dunniedoor in traffic run 20 sec & off so i do rate them,not a cheap option but you will be happy with them,smaller than el set up & pushes more air.thermostat is a must hi flow would be best but a must you would be STUPID to not have one in . YOU MUST UP GRADE ALTERNATOR AT LEAST 85 AMP`S. cheer`s chuckie.

G`DAY LAD`S LASS`ES,I have been looking at having some pad`s for series2 made,As front pad`s are very hard to get + cost is a joke.So who would be interested in FRONT PAD`s for STANDARD FRONT BRAKE`S,Please post up IF you have series 2 stagea & are looking at pad`s soon,with in next 2 week`s i will know what the total cost will be.They are rebond`s i have been running them for 10 month`s & iam very happy with everything. As this is about getting pad`s at a good price & not GETTING RIPPED OFF.so please give me some info with these,as it seem`s that we will have to pay high price`s regardless, cheer`s chuckie

G`DAY Dale some good feed back form fuchs,it will never hurt to have an OIL SAMPLE,I pay $24,87 each time.iam sure that 3 sample`s just to see what is happening,SET TREND,do 1 sample a year just to check for the wear element`s then i will do that,TWO thing`s i don`t do are short trip i will let car get HOT normal temp,sometime`s car sit`s in driveway 10 min`s be for i drive off,I all so do minimum 100 km`s per day,so that make`s big difference to OIL life,1 thing that did shit me is HIS statment of $16 perlitre.IT`S NOT ABOUT COST.Finding out if you have bearing problem`s is good value.1 of my mate` got new toyota on start up rev`s at 2750rpm,he said is that right i told him no & got him sample kit.he talk to manufat & they said it`s ok,he showed them sample ,HE`S GETTING NEW CAR,IT IS A TOOL TO TELL YOU WHAT`S WHAT,GREAT VALUE I THINK SO.YOU KEEP CLOSE EYE ON INTERNAL`S OF YOU CAR THROUGH YOUR OIL. NO WORRIES,I do about 500 to 700km`s a week so that`s why iam 20,000 kms pre change.NO short run under 10km`s i also warm car up start & sort my shit out (so it`s all way`s at normal running temp),i check oil every week just off dipstick feel between finger`s,don`t worry about colour of oil as it will blacken up,which is good as it`s doing it`s job,speaking to westrac has helped me as the TREND show`s you any change`s ,IF you have some where you can sample then spend the money it is a safe guard.TO see what`s going on is a great help,WESTRAC will be having a NEW service in 2 to 3 month`s,then they can offer better service on full synthetic,same as mineral oil`s,no more having to keep sample`s of all oil`s .so looking forward to that.cheer`s dude good luck with all you servicing`s,chuckie.

G`DAY LAD`S,I have just had chat with wetrac`s interpreter Doug Loder, very good feed back,what you have to remember is that CAT USE DIESEL so their base is on diesel not petrol,he has said that it is all very GOOD & i should be happy with what is going on with everythink, iam so as i said i will do 10,000km`s next sample & then oil change at 20,000.ONE thing he did say that i could go to 25,30,000 km`s if i wanted ?? i will not go over 20,000,i think that`s goood enough for me so GOOL LUCK WITH ALL YOUR CHANGE`S.CHEER`S chuckie.

ALL`S WELL lead is slightly high but other wise sweet i will call westrac thurs & have quick chat but that`s it all good,i will take sample at 10,000 just to check,it`s all about trend`s so you see what has change look across numder`s & see what wear element`s are ie,Si =silicon,Pb= lead,.you must know your ELEMENT`S,read top of report,recommendation.Iam very happy with what is going on with my oil so it`s 20,000 km`s of my oil change filter at 10,000,.hope this has helped you with what you want.I will add as i keep getting sample`s done ok so over long term you will see what change`s.CHEER`s chuckie. WAFFLES DON`T DO IT DUDE PLEASE TRY THIS .OK I have sparyed my coil pack`s with CRC URETHAN SEAL COAT.THIS IS USED TO COAT WINDING`S ON ELECTRIC MOTOR`S,This seal`s them .I have mine sprayed for some 6 month`s & have had no problem`s.just give coil pack good clearn with scotch bright,then good wipe with prepsol,hang & spray(read disstruction`s) shakewell,4 or 5 coat`s don`t go darft let them dry,may be one a day.you can spray what colour you like then BLUE.Even get in touch with the OTHERSIDE dude,see how you go,GOOD LUCK DUDE LET US KNOW THE BOBBY MOORE ,cheer`s chuckie. ps all my photo`s are big have reset camera, to take some more.
