  1. HmmThanks alot for the info. I can rebuild rear ends I understand how as I've done it for lots of trucks before, were talking about back lash and shiming to get the right wear patter with a bit of paint, or it can be very noisy if done wrong, one of my uncle is a pro at it. What I didnt know about was how you broke it down. I will invest in a LSD 2 way center for front and rear. But im just a little mix up here. You mean the crown and pinion gears from the gts4 is what your saying is what i need and get rid acual diff part and use the gtrs. Which one is the 411 and 413?? I can't even sleep now lol, as all ill be doing is reading there differential threads. Thanks guys I hope I understood you guys right.
  2. This is today before I tore it down today for paint. I will keep everyone posted.
  3. Im working on painting the engine bay and assess the whole body. this body is so new I have a hard time believing its a 1992. Absolutely no rust no where at all, but tye rotors. Lol
  4. Im in the process now of switching out all my parts from my gts 4 to my new gtr body I got. For all that don't know I crashed my gts4 that had a fully built rb26 motor for about 600 hp into my gts4 and now putting it into my new gtr r32 body. Im stock between a rock and a hard spot. I don't know based on my own personal experience what is the better setup, and it doesn't hurt to ask. Gts4 diff or gtr. ??? This car is only for drag racing. Thats it. The only street use will be, just to drive the car to the track. The most hp im looking to get is 800hp. Things I want to know is. Is the gts4 diff stronger than a gtrs (r32) from what ive heard the gts4 will shorten the gears and be better for drag racing, and is what lots of gtr users should use, but is it strong enough for 800hp ??? Next, I have a new gt42r turbo, is it too big for 800hp. Im planing on using that turbo in a 6Boost T4 twin scroll manifold with twin 44mm tial gates. Finally after all is done I will do the fuel system to suport that hp. Im working on it as we speak. Thanks guys and please look at the attached photos for details
  5. This is funny. No really
  6. Ok if its 24 volts why cant I use a 12vdc to 25vdc converter. ???
  7. Looking at bosch pumps on line. Some I notice are variable votage. 24volts being the highest. Hmmm
  8. Well its stamped bosch on the pump mate. I did get them from a reputable supplier. And they were expensive. I have always wanted to go take a look at fuelab. But having these for a while and there brand new never used I wanted to know if they will work. The box the pumps came in are yellow with bosch stamps all over the box. they came from Germany not that it cant be faked from germany. Lol. Ill tell you how I got them One of my friends work for TREX that makes container handlers called straddle carriers. On the straddle they use these pumps to lift fuel up 60f to the top machine platform where there is a small tank the supply the big diesel engine. I know it works at 24v and for diesel. Can they work for gas. Anf at 12 to 14 volts. Any specs avalible for them.??
  9. That is the pump in question
  10. Hi guys I have 3 new bosch fuel pumps on them has these numbers 9 580 234 005 I cant seem to find any info on them in detail even after googling it. I notice on it that it has 24v on it but from memory if im correct thats the max voltage for the pump. So it can still work at 12v or 14 for that matter. Im planning on setting up my fuel system using these pump if they can work for my r32 gtr. Looking to support 800hp max for drag racing. Thanks any help is appreciated.
  11. I read your post mate. I just have alot of PFC and i was woundering if that was only me that thought it sounded funny. I will be going with the ps2000 ecu as I already have it and dont feel like I need another ecu right now. I liked how you broke it down. Thanks for that mate. Trust me if he tried a Bee R I would know. Lol. But it doesn't seen like right now that im going to go another route other than using the ecu to launch the car. The method that dumps fuel and retard the timing for max boost. Put it simple. I was told that I could use NOS to bring the boost up on the line but cant get around how that would work on the line with no load free reving to gain boost then let the clutch out. Would the NOS damage the motor. ?? The only way im thinking is a miss firing system just like the method I mentioned to explode the gases in the manifold. Hmmmm. The gears are turning now. Thanks mate. Good stuff.
  12. Im planing on using my ps2000 for my drag gtr but will have to find a good tuner close to me. Thats a small problem because ill have to ship my car to Tampa florida by boat. R32 entry to the states can be hard. But I will work it out. Im think of letting Martin at RS Enthalpy do the set up for me. But here is what im being told by the guys at brewed motor sport. Here is what they said and I would like to know if anyone here has heard of hacking a power fc for launch control. " These are both rally style ALS, the easiest way to set up a drag style antilag would be for me to tune the car in person as I have a special cable and software to "hack" the power FC and add a Drag style antilag launch feature." A special cable and hacking for anti lag launching. Has to be here in person to do it. What you guys think about that.
  13. I found a company that has somthing for sale. I have contacted them for help has anyone heard of them. http://brewedmotors.com/performance-exhaust/antilag-secondary-air-injection-kit-rally-als
  14. I need to find a fourm or link that speaks about the system more in detail. There must be a way to get this done. I think I'm going to start going to car shows and visiting race tracks in the states more often. This topic seems to be a secret topic of most just don't do it.
  15. Yes crossed my mind. Took me back to mechanical fuel injection. Injectors that are placed right in the combustion cambers.
  16. I agree everyone uses it in rally. But I believe in rally it's always for a long time been the bang bang type of als. That method uses the ignition retard method. I'm interested in the method I mentioned above. I'm willing to give it a try. I can remember looking at my haltech ps2000. And it had a rally style anti lag, and another type I think, that was for drag racing. I have been reading from theis morning on the subject, and will soon try one. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for some diagrams to study.
  17. Hi guys I would like to take some time to talk about anti lag systems. From what I have read around here most of the top guys don't like it do to the damaging affects on engine and turbos. I would have to say all of that makes sense and it shouldn't be done for street use, or to Wow your friends, but if the prize is is big enough, let's say like 20k plus it's worth the try if not just once. For me I'm really interested in the system for drag racing GTR. From what I see ALS can be safe went the system is used is right. In short one of the systems I came across is the system where a valve is used to bypass air into the exhaust controlled by the ecu and a turbine speed sensor is used to monitor turbo speed, and lastly a normal injector is used to inject fuel into the turbine housing. The ecu controls the whole process. From what I hear this is not the bang bang (als) system that is commonly the system that kills turbo as fast and engine components. I'm at work and will continue this topic once I reach home.
  18. It's the car on the right as you can see the camber is off. Oh. I have already down graded the rear brakes and at will I can use my set of M/T et drag tires and rims.
  19. I have a gtst I just finished building. It has about 600 hp to the wheels. I can't seem to get the car to hookup. Looking at the suspension I know that's the problem. It's lowered and my rear wheel camber is off a lot. I don't have coil overs just some lowering springs on stock what looks like to be shocks. I'm looking in the near future to go with a 3 speed power glide tranny and do my rear suspension to accommodate the new setup. I've been doing a lot of reading up, but can't seem to find a hands down drag set up for the rear suspension online. Years back when I tried to do the same thing before I got the GTR and my whole out looked changed I met a mate on here that gave me a specific set up with rear Blisten shocks and springs along with some institutions as to what camber and hight the car has to be. He mentioned that he had an r32 RWD gtr with about 1100hp. He sent photos and all. He said that the setup worked well in a R32 body and should work well in my R33 to. From what I can remember the hight of the car needed to be 365mm from the center of the rear wheels and so forth. The specs on the shocks and spring are lost and gone. Well after years I'm now facing the same problem. Traction in a R33 gtst. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
  20. Thanks mate. The attached photo is of the motor in the car.
  21. Hi I'm looking to buy a A/C condenser and fan for a R33 gtst skyline. Shipped to Miami Forida 3315 is the zip code. Thanks, and please pm me for further info. All potential offers will be reviewed for security reasons. So please save us the time of having to have you be screened and investigated. Thank you for your time and consideration.
  22. I would really appreciate that. Because I planing on buying a set of those tire to give it a try. Im on stock rear suspension at the moment. Thanks mate.
  23. Would you mind listing the whole tire size that you guys used. Those are M/T drags ?? Does the car have stock suspension?
  24. Follow this link mate to bleed up the system. http://mobile.dudamobile.com/site/TheSkyLife?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.skylife4ever.com%2F2011%2F01%2Fbleeding-attesa.html%3Fm%3D1
  25. You may need to bleed up the system right. The only thing I can think of is you need to go through the bleed up procedures. Then the light should go off.
