  1. was the way I was thinking of doing it.or, use a gain switch and map according to extra boost.
  2. this.and it's easier to get water from a tap at a track than e85. I don't need every last kw, so water injection only, going from ops results, should do me just fine. that, and I'd like to be able to drive interstate.
  3. This may be the solution I was looking for. I'm Sydney, but the closest e85 is at least an hour round trip. was thinking of buying in barrels. but, these results, although not as good, are definitely better than straight 98. will look into it further once the car is running.
  4. I belive the issue may lye with using the 25 studs with the 26 head. had 1 nut just touching the end of the thread upon disassembly of mine.
  5. thought about this. Depending on block machining, head machining, and gasket thickness used, will depend if they just clear, or just foul. the more you skim off, and thinner the gasket, the more likely to need the extra washer.
  6. Thanks for the info. I though cancer was cancer and attacked different regions and was treated according to that. When I have decent Internet again, might try and search for some documentaries.
  7. Quick question on cancer to those that know more than I. .. why are there so many separate charity's and foundations working on it, instead of pooling all the sources and research together so they aren't double testing dead ends?

  10. Mine didn't. Ran fine until I spun bearings. and I'll be looking at better quality than a bunnigs washer. going to the local bolt master to see if the have any high tensile washers in double thickness.
  11. have heard of vapor coming through rubber lines. Hence alot of people run Teflon lines.
  12. The car will feel stronger after 3000 due to less exhaust back pressure.
  13. it would be possible. Try and find someone with a mag drull (magnetically mounts and I'd set square). Make sure you tape up everything except the holes to be drilled.
  14. That's why dyno comps/days always do multiple runs. theyre never identical.
  15. Power loss could be down to stickier rollers sapping more power. different tyre pressures. or a plethora of other things.
  16. For those running dual washers, are you using arp, or reusing genuine head bolt washers?

  20. I'm with you, but with one change.taking it on the track, so you can find the limit, and drive withing that. I like to know where my car is going to let go so I don't accidentally push too far and regret it. Also, good luck today, I really hope it's all sorted.
