    Internet diagnosis sounds like the bearing (as you seem to have diagnosed yourself). I say do it. and iirc, all the suspension is interchangeable. Good luck. and please, post results.

    after seeing and reading things that go on at these type of events, has really deterred me from going, even just to spectate. For now, I will stick to sau events, as I know they don't tolerate stupidity. I may check them out one day, when they have seemed to mature a little.

    was it a 30?if so, had dohc conversion. Went very well.

    Yep. filled the head with oil. was on the track at the time. didn't have the drain on then though.

    OK, so, have the rear head drain/breather but am trying to decide where to connect. Twin turbos on a dirty 30. was going to go into the rear drain line, but reading g this, as a breather it wouldn't work. the engine is together, so drilling and welding a port is out of the question. Should I just connect the way I was? leave it? other suggestions?

    Wow! A massive thanks to the exec team. if it weren't for your selfless work, we wouldn't have events like this. What a fun, wet, slippery, social, wet day. had a ball. ran some decent times considering. Please, post stories and photos here. Aaaaaaaaaaaand, go.....

    all depends on how the turbos come into boost.mocks would be very agrees ive for best response. I had a big lazy single, so traction wasn't an issue for me. But, going back to low mount twins, so will be interesting to see what happens.

    I was thinking similar.my thought is the 34 short ratio gears, which sit between the 32 and 34 ratios. I believe around the 3.8:1 mark.
