  1. One of the reasons i got rid of my 9 second street car...& then got a gtr . Gtr's to me were a good all rounder ,fast street,circuit,drag ...you can do much more with one than my pain in the ass ,cranky aspirated chevy on alcohol. Dont get me wrong i love drag racing..but it can be f*ckin boring waithing in staging lanes all day lucky to get a couple of passes. Although i do miss being able to mash the throttle at 100 k's...& paint black lines on the freeway for a couple hundred metres. I think gtr's should be kept manual & as close to original type setups as possible...to me it seems kind of silly to turn a zilla into a back half , tube chassis,or glide with transbrake type of car and still call it a streetcar..to me doing that loses its appeal. Each to there own though. ( I like dirt's gtr because its still original looking,fast,& retains most things as nissan designed it)
  2. I will come out soon..when my current upgrades are complete. I wont be breaking any records,but hope for some mid 10's or so.
  3. My mates rb26 with hks ss's makes 375rwkw..on several dynos & is within a couple of kw. 28 psi & responsive as all hell. who says ss's cant make good power.
  4. Im not doubting the guys ability to tune...i was however saying Mark Jocobsen was charging $800 + less for supply ,fit & tune. $1100 for the tuning & $ 330 something for the install ?? ( for a plug in )

I got a price on the vipec v44 plug in for r32 gtr from insight motorsport...$1880 ecu alone. $3331 installed and tuned...which i thought was a bit much considering i have seen godzilla motorsport quote $2500 supplied ,installed,tuned. Who else can supply and tune vipec in sydney...or i just take it to godzilla motorsport. DiRT chime in if you would.

  7. The sound of the Kpgc10 gtr skyline (the original GTR) with the S20 six cylinder screaming its lungs out sounds F*cking fantastic.

  9. I understand that years ago performance metalcraft had some air ducts made in fibreglass & carbon to suit r32 gtr's. They fitted behind the bumper to use the factory bumper opening to duct cool air to the underside of a factory airbox. I saw one on Jeff fear's r32 gtr (sss automotive) car...i tried contacting performance metalcraft & Hi Octane ,but to no avail...they have not been made for years im told. Does anyone else know who makes them or someone that has one a mold could be taken from ?

  13. f*k ME !..so it's a pretty safe bet that no one has made more power than you with these turbo's & i assume you have the quickest and fastest times recorded with these also. Congrats on pushing the shit out of it to see what was achievable. My engine sounds just like your old engine you flogged for 3.5 years..pistons,rod bolts,n1 pump ,jun 268's & springs,cometic gasket etc.. I plan on putting a vipec & -5 turbos to see how much i can make. Maybe i need to contact you when the time comes to leaning on it a little.
  14. I didnt think it was possible to make that kind of power with these turbo's.. Im not doubting you at all dirt ,only surprised that you made 460kw. I think i will definately be going with a set of these. Although i am fairly new to gtr ownership..a few guys i have spoken to have said you wont make 400kw or over with the 25/30's . shows how much they really know i guess.
  15. btw..i could easily work out how much power you were making given the trap speed and weight. Its just that some like to claim crazy hp figures..then trap speed at the track indicates they could not have been making that kind of power. My previous ride was an aspirated torana that ran 9.5 @ 141...i was just more curious to see what kind of hp guys were making compared to their et thats all...trap speed tells no lies though ,unlike some dyno's or owners.

  19. for YEARS ive hated that big chrome bullshit.......even that dodgy paintjob..... thats disgusting.... looks like a typical fully sick hectic bro wheels, no style watsoever. The way people in australia try to customise a car is SHOCKING compared to the jap ^^^Agreed...f**k me some people just should not own cars when they perform mods like these to them. SACRILIGE !! The silver r33 is nice though.

  22. Crower/carillo/pauter...if you genuinely want to make big power & still have peace of mind about a rod not exiting the block. Pauter do custom size rods all the time unlike many other manufacturers.
