  1. Bro, clearly all go and less show - my style! Nice and clean - has the goods. I like it. Damn, any vehicle that runs a 13 sec pass is damn fast. damn fast. Hit the 12 sec mark and you can call your beast - FAST... Good luck... hope to meet you soon. REgards,
  2. LOL.... funny ..... did they have a big white and black dice hanging off the mirror? LOL Fully sick mate.
  3. Matey... I am happy to swap... I got a series II stock front bar - if you want to swap... happy to... I am in MELBOURNE - PM me if you're interested. Cheers, PS: mine's black - so you'll have to repaint if you're interested.
  4. Gentlemen gentlemen, put away your flaming sticks for one second - give the guy a chance to breath, bring out your swords now... LOL Look brother - your actions were careless, stupid and very very dangerous, not to mention totally and utterly illegal. THere's nothing wrong with pushing your car to it's limits and seeing it's full potential, but doing it on a normal road - controlled my arse. Seriously, post threads like this and you will be flamed to toast. CLOSE THIS THREAD as it's just plain boring and a waste of our time.
  5. That fact is, it will be a Proto GT-R v35 - the Skyline legacy has died and was let-go after the last R34 GT-R was released in late 2000. The rein of the Skyline continues but not more so in the form of the R31, R32, R33 and R34 not the V35 Proto GT-R. Personally, it's just another 350X fellas, with different frontbar, sideskirts and a wossy wing. I do not like it at all. A roughed up R33 GT-R would make it look like a kid in uniform.
  6. Although the GT-R replica wings have left the rest for dead - I must ask... what do people see in the little duck wing (Drift wing) that is so appealing, it looks weak as fark... LOL
  7. Ripped off? By whom or did it just happen due to wear & tear? Don't bother trying Nissan dealers in Australia - they do not deal with imports and stay well away from them for some reason. Anyways, your best bet are wreckers or look on the sales - parts section of our forum. Good luck... gotta say, it looks so naked and wierd without these frontwheel/splash guards - you agree?
  8. ha ha ha ha... "nearly too him out..." yeah, imagine that - the cops may say: "you realise son that you could have killed someone if your front wheelguards?" You may reply: "yeah, I guess so what would you charge me with - killing people with my wheelguards?" ha ha ha ... just thought for ya,.... Anyways, I've got mine fixed by myself, had to get under the car and really do a lot of work to get it reattached but finally it's all good again, thank god. Mate - these wires are for the front indicators - as you know I got some the GT-R bumper so yeah... but all good now... I think it would be better as the water directly from the wheels would not splash straight onto the front things. Go to the wreckers - that was going to be my next step - the should charge no more than $40.00 or something.
  9. Check your sparkplugs, running high-octaine fuel? got your car serviced recently? 8 volts is a bit low, on standard I think my car stays on like 12 volts or something. Also, have you checked your battery - enough charge in there - here's an inexpensive thing you could try - bring it to a mechanic, as him to fully charge up your battery for you - would cost around $20.00 or something, then see how you go. I've noticed with my car if I don't drive it enough, sometimes it will die down a bit. Good luck.
  10. Damn, that was fast... My fastest was 210 on 4th gear. but your speed is crazy. Man, go to a dyno not on a freeway, if a car came out of nowhere you could have been skyline toast. if the cops caught you man, you would have lost your license on the spot or your car could have been impounded - you nuts brother?
  11. Alan - what the hell? you said it was fine when you came to my house the other time to see my gt-wing. what's wrong with it?
  12. LEt's face it fellas. If a thief wanted to steal your ride, it will be stolen or else he wouldn't bother. An alarm will on hinder the thief's chances of stealing your ride not prevent it. Now having that said - the only insurers who would insurer a turbo Skyline would be justcars and shannons (from my understanding), now... with justcars for example (I'm with them now), they allow all modifications and remote start is ok - I personally checked with them first. seriously fellas, you buy a car and get an expensive alarm and you decide to not get remote start - give me a break. Having that said, the VIPER VX series alone is around $450.00 on the market (check ebay if you like, I'm talking about the whole package here not just with the alarm) - so get aleast give the guys a some labour costs brother. Who cares if Gary's brother Rod (related to Jill whom is Fred's cousin's friend's brother's uncle) - as long as they do the job. I have dealt with them for many years, good crowd - DOM is really good. But again, totally up to you guys. Laterz
  13. I think it will be at least $100k or more. I don't think it will sell nicely, I mean, look around, the sports car industry isn't producing much sports cars anymore, because most people cannot afford it anymore. With everything rising, cost of housing, petrol and even costs of living - damn, would you spend $100 (I'm being modest here) on a mechanical automobile? come on guys, I'm referring to the average honest-living citizen here.
  14. YEah, that's the thing. It's like the "ummmphh" of a Skyline. Just like a spaceship 350Z. But hey, I still wouldn't mind one. LOL
  15. Right you are. Might need you to help me with the stop/start points when plotting the maps - may I PM you? Cheers, This will be great... calling all Skyliners ou there.
  16. Fellas, a brother is in need here. :PBJ:
  17. Bro, if you shop around you should be able to do this under $800.00. You gotta shop around bro. Good luck.
  18. Don't blame them, the GT-badges are hot propety. LOL OK, not to worry - contact these guys - http://www.justjap.com.au and order them, should take around 1 week or so, will cost you around $90.00 I beleive plus delivery, so around $120.00. Make sure you ordrer the right ones - if yours is Turbo, ask for the turbo white and red ones etc. Good luck.
  19. Well guys, I think the GT-R wing has left the rest for dead. Thanks for all your help fellas.
  20. Just be careful, the cops are really strict nowadays - they got police mechanics on the force, if they lift your hood and find that you've done alot of engine work on the car, they might just give you trouble, should be right, but just watch out. I wouldn't put stickers on, loud exahust etc - basically nothing that attracts too much attention to avoid further complications. Good luck though.
  21. ANNOUNCEMENT: Well fellas, so far there's like 20 people coming (including myself and a few friends). Like discussed before, maps, details and a program guide will be up by next weekend. If you have any requests on where we should go for lunch, stops, photo shots or suggestions etc - please post them up now as once these details have been finalised, I guess we should stick to it to avoid any confusions as the cruise is only a fortnight away. I wil do my best to make this cruise a memorable one. Regards and thank you all.
  22. Bro - not saying the drag day is not as exciting - probably is ... But I suppose, it's not very common that we have a nice turnout like this one for a cruise up the Great Ocean Road, am I right? Hope you can come bro, bring some of your friends too. Hope to see you there.
  23. Thanks fellas!! Cheers. It's great to have word-of-mouth referrals. Nothing like personal experience. You guys are rad... many thanks.... hope you all are going to my cruise that I am organising in 2 weeks.
  24. Hey fellas, I'm taking some holiday time off work and therefore was hoping to spend most of it on my ride. Something that I have always wanted to do is to get my rims powder-coated and repainted matt-black - my car is a midnight-black R33 GTS-T with a full GT-R kit. I think black metallic rims would make it look tough as. Does anyone know who/where I can get my rims powder-coated and how much would this exercise cost me? and no, I am not interested in DIY's as I'd rather get a pro to do a proper job as I've seen too many backyard jobs that look half descent. Many thanks, See pics for what I want to get done - notice my Rims are now chrome with a few scratches so I want to get it done black like the second picture attached. A location in VIC would be great. Also, you guys got any pics of wheels you've powder-coated/repainted before on a Skyline?
