Just watch out for the law bro, what you do is nice and all, but if you change the colour or making darker/brighter etc you a nice yellowy thing might be coming your way. but yeah, sounds great, remember pics.

Twin Turbo Straight Six Cylinder Engine
Spunky Munky replied to Forged's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Thanks for scretching my itch mate - fucck yeah! It's like comparing a double-storey brick villa to a wooden shack. LOL But yeah, honest to God and may I be punished if should I sin. I would choose a R33 GT-R with mods as opposed to a BMW any day, any second of the week. I am madly in love with Skylines, screw the Hitler cars! -
Dear guys, does anyone have a R33 GST-T/GT-R brochure? If you can, please post it... many thanks.

Gonna Race At Calder Tonight...
Spunky Munky replied to R33GOD's topic in General Automotive Discussion
try deflating your tyres a bit, i normally go 5 psi below 34 psi if i want to get more grip. don't know how well you launch, but i would ease up from 1st to 2nd smootly and do not miss any gears. 14's are not too bad, low 13's would've been more desirable ah? -
that's right guys... go K&N panel filter. use the standard airbox, just put in the filter - runs really well, i gained like 3-5 kilwatts because of it. i had a blitz pod filter, stucked heaps of engine heat, was bad and yes, pods filters are illegal but panels ones are not. be careful as in vic you can only have 1 air induction-related mod, if you got a frontmounted intercooler, but forget about the CAI. price for a k&n filter will cost you anything from $75-$125.00 - watch out of replicas

What The*&%$&* Is Going On With My Car!
Spunky Munky replied to Dean_HR31's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I am not after market ECU pro, but I have heard a few bad thing with Microtechs, apparently they don't go well with some mods. I have an aftermarket Haltech EMS (Engine Management System) and it manages everything spot on. I got my car tuned, modified and serviced at Nismo Australia in Sunshine VIC. He's done a good job, my car puts out around 245 k/w at the wheels so I guess something is being done right. I would check the ECU, the fuel management configurations and definitely the turbo to see if it is running the appropriate boost PSI's at appropriate REv ranges. Good luck mate. I suggest you take it to the following places as well. Twin Turbo Straight Six Cylinder Engine
Spunky Munky replied to Forged's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Breath-taking but I am fan of the RB engine. Let us not forget the fierce power of the RB series. RB25DE - twin-cam 140 kW/190 PS and 147 kW/200 PS (with VCT) @ 6000 rpm, 255 N·m (26.0 kgf·m) @ 4000 rpm) RB25DET - twin-cam turbo (245 to 250 hp and 319 N·m) NEO RB25DET - twin-cam turbo (206 kW (280 PS) @ 6400 rpm, 362 N·m (37.0 kgf·m) @ 3200 rpm) RB25DE and DET engines produced from August 1993 also featured NVCS (Nissan Variable Cam System) for the intake cam. This gave the new RB25DE more power and torque at lower rpm than the previous model. -
You would be foolish to - go K&N bro, everyone knowsn K&N makes the best airfilters in this universe. Otherwise, try ebay perhaps?

That yellow R34 with the wide-body kit looks damn hot. only thing is it would have looked hotter if it was either mid-night black or electric blue. I'm a fan of the wing, I like the stock R34 wing on a R34 so if it ws me, this would have made it eyecandy. but neverless, bloody hot i feel my pants burning. -
Damn guys, you're making me drool. You guys are so innovative and creative. must say, some of you request really simple, but yet very needed upgrades, it shows that dreams are not too far away from one's grasp. many thanks guys, I think what I will do with my $15-$20K is basically use it to get some leather seats and a sunroof for now. The thing with cars is that, there is never a limit or an end. Regards,

Guys, keep the ideas coming. as throughout the years, since I got married, I've been saving all my tax return monies and finally have a modest but yet fairly-flexible budget to play around with. "Nissie" as I call my R33 beast (kinda lame I know, but my Wife calls the Skyline Nissie short for Nissan) has been through a few hard times with me, he's part of the family so-to-speak so it's time that he gets a little birthday present. A lot of 'dropping new engine' ideas I see, I might just do something like this. But you see, the ironic thing is, I'm still on my P's so I am struggling to keep my R33 as it is with the new laws. So yeah, I might have to go all rice for now and no performance mods - bugger to that. Please post some pics of what you may want to do as well peoples. Cheers,
-
Nicely put mate. Yeah, R32's are ok, but they're too old now and they look like a box on for wheels - but then again, look carefully because with R33's - you got two variances. 1) nice looking beast, 2) a fat whale. so yeah, look carefully. Regards,

Callin' all Skyliners, I'm sure we all have had wild ideas, innovative thoughts and desires to do something special to our Skylines. Something that will make it unique and stand out from the crowd. If cash wasn't an issue and you had the right people that could do pratically anything; what modifications or alterations would you do to your Skyline? I'll start - I've always wanted custom leather seats with my rego printed on them. I want them to be dark-red with black stitching. I've done some research and it will cost me around $4,500 but it's worth it (I'm talking about all seats not just the front). Secondly, I want to get a custom sunroof put in ($3,000) plus finally I want cruise control to be installed ($1,750). So yeah, that's it for me. What do you guys think? And yes fellas', we're talking about RICE here... Click here for a crack at what 'RICING' is .... LMAO http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ricer

No worries mate... we're all here to help others as this is the main reason this forum was set up in the first place. But yeah, as most forumers will tell you, before you post another topic, do a quick search first as it limits repeats of the same topic over and over again. But yeah, if your money, I'm sure you can pick up a fairly descent R33 GST-T. If you look hard enough, you might even find a good one with some goodies (mods) already in there for you. Just gotta be patient and look around mate. Drop me a PM if you want with some links / pics etc of the cars you're looking at and I can certainly give you some pin-points if you want bro. Good luck with it.

Yeah, tell me about it. Fuel economy is killing me with my Skyline at the moment. Which car did it come off mate?
