300 kw plus is awesome power, mine makes just over 220 kw's and I think it's awesome already... what mods do you have, you running a piggyback ecu or full fc?

The R35 GTR is ground-breaking in many areas; but in my opinion the biggest punch derives in the fact that they can match or outperform in the "supercar" arena at a fraction of the price. Ni-San - wow....

RIP and being during the Christmas/new year season is terrible. Unfortunately, yet another 'Skyliner" has crashed and died... doesn't do much to lift the image for us. To the copes, Nissan Skylines are up on their 'lets give them trouble' list. Bugger that.

Fellas, In the tradition of "don't forget the farmer when eating the fruit" - I think it's only right that we learn abit more about Nissan's chief GT-R designer and engineer, Mr. Kazutoshi Mizuno. Read below, this guy sure knows his stuff when it comes to designing super cars at affordable prices. I mean, $180,000 USD is a very large amount, but let's face it, it's not something that is absolutely out of one's reaches hence I used the word 'affordable.' well, thought I'll update everyone... ended up not getting the CF bonnet - as a mate had one, chucked it on for looks and on a black R33 and doesnt look that nice so I gave it up... but thanks all.

I never really saw a R33/4 up front close and personal - but I think it is a lovely hybrid combo... LIGER yo!

When you say you got no BOV, that's incorrect - either you have a stock blowoff valve or you got an aftermarket one. If you got a stock one, I would check it out, check the vacuum hoses for any leaks or breakage, also use cable-ties to make sure it's fastened nicely from both ends - also remove the stock BOV and make sure that the springs (or valve whatever you call it) is working probably. Also make sure it's plumbing back 100% to the engine. Now, if you have an aftermarket one - make sure it's a 100% plumback BOV and not one that vents to the atmospher and this will play with the airflow/fuel mixtures and the AFM will not function right. Secondly, like most have suggested - check your AFM to see if it's working probably - might need to resoldered the adaptor ends - or get a new AFM altogether - if you need a new one get a Z32 (from the Nissan ZX's). Finally, if you have a frontmounted intercooler - check all the hosing and make sure that everything is tightly plugged in. And if you can afford it and have the time, get a full retune - will help you out heaps. Good luck mate... I used to get this problem too - found out it was the BOV, plumbed it all back and it's working fine now.

Thanks fellas... I think I have chosen and also would the majority supporting option link 1 - I think I will go with this option on my 'custom booted' R33. I like the metal look with the sloping side edges, I think this does it nicely. Anyone here with the above wing actually on there R33, R34 or any other vehicle for that matter? Also, does anyone know of any other place I can source this wing from besides carmate? Happy new year 2008 fellas!!

Yeah, good to see that you're laughing... But sorry to say, a R33 GTR does look tougher than the R34.... but then the R35 owns all... totally up to the eye of the beholder.

A crash does more than physical damage, it also creates mental and emotional damage. When I crashed my Honda Accord last year, the car was mangled real bad and I was throwing up blood due to internal injuries - without going into the graphics too much; I think obey the speed limit and arrive safely. Speed limits are there after scientists, engineers and specialist consultants have done their calculations and research to show which applicable speed limit is most suitable for certain areas - they should be obeyed and taken lightly. I know I learned the hard way, cost me a fortune and nearly my marriage. I think seeing a wreck really brings it home and gives you a graphical warning on the consequences of speeding. A car can do wondrous things, but if not used properly, it can become a lethal weapon to kill.

Yeah, I agree the R34 GTR wing on a R33 looks hot as ... yeah for sure, someone with Adobe Photoshop skills would be great... as I'm shocking at it....

Cant really comment on drivability... but I think R33 looks much tougher.

If you got the know-how, time and tools etc... do a proper CAI (cold air intake) and pipe it, e.g. right to the front bar... nothing beats moist cold air.

Ha ha ha ha... yeah that's it... I see so many GTR wings out there( nothing wrong with them) but just way too comoon, then I huffed and the puffed... so then I finally decided to go sometign totally different. Wing 1 is tough as ah? Half GT wing and half OEM R34... looks tough... like how it sits so straight up and flips on the sides.

Yeah, looks nice mate... I think a wing like a signature look ... I want something different. I currently have a R34 Nismo wing on but the stands 'lean outwards' which makes it look less tough... I'd prefer for it to sit straight up. You got a side pic? Thanks.
