Mine were leaking silicon looking stuff all over my drive way. Any work shop. Shaun @ boostworx are very well priced as they have done quite a few so has it down pat. They are fairly easy to do yourself. Drop the subframe drill/smack out the old bushes, smack in the new. Bolt it all up. Will take a little less than a day for a backyard mechanic in and out. The gearbox.. sounds fairly normal for a rb20t box thats been given a hard time. They all experience input shaft whine. Thank god I am a dad. You have no idea what your missing.

Axle tramp = combination of bad subframe bushes, bad shocks and tyres. Subframe bushes made the largest difference with second being shocks. Following new shocks my tramp disappeared completely. Tyres can have a large influence also. Clunky sounds will be drive line slack. Mine clunks but has done ever since I went a solid button clutch.

E10 BP 98 would suck especially as now they have pushed price up to 12-13c more than ULP. E10 is supposed to be cheaper than regular 98. SAFF do E10 blends are cheaper. Lately I've been running Shell as the only slug 10c more. Really what are they going to do if you only shove 1/2 a litre in and then walk in to pay for it??

For the price you can get better. As already mentioned in this thread. A bloke I know also had his ceramic Extreme weld/stick to the flywheel. He was told it was because he was driving it hard and then turning the car off soon after which was a load of crap. He would launch it. Clutch would stick and he would be left decelerating either between first trying to grab second or second trying to grab third. Not to healthy for the gearbox/motor. :S Not all the time but enough of the time to be concerned. Grab a tried and proven genuine exedy. There's also been good reports with those NPC clutches. I really don't like the Extreme for the cost of their clutches alone. :S

I run an Exedy GTR 4puk solid button. - NSK-7121SC Picked it up for a fairly decent price. Smooth to drive with and not to heavy on the leg. No issues grabbing fourth hard and having the rear chirp or twitch around a little. I ran a Extreme 9puk prior. Heavier on the leg, would tend to heat up really easily and then slip with only 200rwkw and it shuddered like a bastard. The Exedy 4puk Handles 300rwkw without a problem. But whats important is the torque it handles. 200rwkw at 3500rpm and 256rwkw at 4000rpm without problems.

I have indeed. R31nismoid did not waste any time smacking redgtst with the ugly/ban stick.
-
The person I'm hanging to meet... RedGTST. Why... I wish to see if he is slightly twisted/mental in person or not. SHYGRL were you on a cruise last week with a group of VL's?

SAUSA has never been right from day dot when we all moved over from Skylines Downunder back in 2002. Vic especially is more of a motorsport club than a social club. Lots of high powered VERY quick GTR's with a few quick GTST's. There's more of a 'social' club going on now than there ever has been, and those who are in to the motorsport scene are with Nissan Datsun Car Club/Marque Sports Car Association of SA happily thrashing around Mallala. The results from the recent Supersprint. http://www.mscasa.com/results/2008/results_round3.html

Hey Buddy.. Double check that one. The GTR knock sensors are definitely different to the rb20/25 knock sensors. They work off the same principle but the voltage output is different resulting in the pfc's interpretation being off. Get a multimeter on to them you'll see what I mean. I've seen the same thing on the dyno with multiple R33's and R32's also when fitting up the GTR pfc. Drop the RB26 knock sensors on and bingo a normal knock readout. NWR31.. You'll see what I mean, the knock readout with the gtr pfc and rb20/25 knock sensors is not worth a pinch of shiet. The part number between the sr20 and rb26 knock sensors are different. By all means give them a go if you have no luck sourcing 26 ones. I'm surprised it runs with the z32 and gtr injector tune on your setup.

rs73, Still time to jump in this group buy? I'm after. R32 GTST Slotted fronts Do you offer standard rears? Price for both slotted and non slotted? I'll measure my rears tonight and see if they need replacing as there were not so long ago replaced.

Rebuild with shortened bronze valve guides new stem seals, multiangle valve job (3 angle is done standard on the rb's), port and polish (noticeable work done around the bowl area) and valve deshroud cost me ~1.1k I had it done by Chris Milton Engine developments but honestly I can't recommend them as they bum steered me a few times (valve seat pressure stuff ups etc) they then charged me again to fix up their stuff up. Unsure if James from Nisspeed is still around. Might want to quiz Shaun.

My 640gb WD aaks definitely vibrates a lot more than my seagate drives. BUT the WD drive is a hell of a lot quieter when seeking. Rubber mounted HD's FTW!
-
Only issue with WD's I've found is heat. If you run the computer in a poorly ventilated case and the room does not have good aircon on those summer days expect the click of death following a good year of use. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=_Faq8tetLRM

We had it done at Flinders Private and yeah it was the 20wk ultrasound.
-
One of the ultrasounds my other half had they said to bring in VHS tape. Recorded the ultrasound on video. Awesome to watch. They were unable to tell his sex at the time but slow play back of the vid I spotted his Donga and knew it was a boy!

hahah lets see what you think about that statement when your nudging 30 and weight slaps on a fair bit easier than it did when you were 20 odd.

For myself its.... Fries in: 1. A whopper with cheese 2. Quarter Pounder 3. McFeast. 4. Big Mac Not keen on fries in any of the other burgers.

R888's are an awesome looking tyre.. Really curious how their stiffer sidewall but 'slightly' softer rubber (100 tread wear) hold on in a straight line when running rwd. I'm considering the softer side walled but slightly harder (140 tread wear) R1R's for daily.

So it is the radiator its self or the alloy inlet manifold?
-
The subject is a little misleading where the pinhole is. You say manifold where the coolant circulates? is it the radiator thats leaking or the manifolds (inlet/exhaust??) If its just the top radiator tank I had natrad replace it, clean the radiator and refill coolant for around $90.
-
Top effort. What are the specs? Turbo exhaust manifold? etc ----- The rb25 pfc can display a boost reading if you hook up a cheap map sensor. Paulr33 has the info on in his PowerFC Faq on how to get it working.

Well don't you just hate being lied to because the old falla doing a wheel alignment in the Darlington (pm if you want to know who) area CBF doing his job properly and gives you a shiet house wheel alignment with a steering wheel thats way way off center. When asked what camber the front end is running.. oh .75 degree neg left and right.. wtf the left looks like its cambered in and the right looks like its positive camber. Can I have a print out.. Oh I've turned the machine off. Called Pedders at Morphette vale to see if they can squeeze me in. Sure thing. On it goes 0.5neg on the left +.5 on the right. pooofta.. They eye does not lie. Pedders at Morphette Vale are champs spent 3hrs on the car pulling the coil overs out to adjust the inner bush etc and got it all setup perfect and front wheels actually look as if they have some neg camber now. Best part is they charged me absolutely bugger all. The amount I paid I felt guilty as they spent so much time on it. Top blokes definitely head down there for work as they love the imports and are true enthusiasts. Be sure to plug SAU just so they know where the word is coming from. For those that head out to Mallala they do an awesome price on track and then street alignment following the track day.

lmfao.. What are the chances. Thats my finance's niece.

Nail on the head.. Its cold and feels like it has been constantly raining. Wait for the very first warm night and watch everyone head out.
