  1. Thanks heaps everyone. All I'm doing now is working out stud/bolt sizes, thread pitch and lengths. RB20DET Turbo to dump - 6x M8 x 1.25 (length?) Turbo to exhaust manifold - 4x M10 x (Pretty sure it's 1.25??) (length?) Cheers
  2. One last question. Reading through these forums can get confusing... Some people say just get genuine Nissan, others say go to a specialist fastener shop and get high tensile studs, then others say high tensile loses its high tensile properties under extreme heat, so then people recommend inconel... Also recommended is copper anti-seize on studs and bolts in high heat applications? A good idea or not necessary? For example, I'm looking at what GCG have available online. They sell sets of high tensile studs and locking nuts for turbo to dump. If they're selling these then obviously high tensile must be fine... The set, however, doesn't include bolts, just 6 studs and nuts... What are genuine Nissan? High tensile, inconel? From what I understand: Exhaust manifold to block - inconel Turbo to exhaust manifold - inconel Turbo to dump - high tensile Thanks heaps for your help
  3. Thanks for all your help guys! Much appreciated. Any reason why there is a combination of studs and bolts? And is it absolutely fine if I just go all studs? Thanks again
  4. Hey Just need to get some clarification. I need to get a set (6) of these for the turbo to dump. Looking at the manual diagrams it looks like some are meant to be bolts and some are supposed to be studs? I've always thought they were all studs...? On Just Jap for example, they have "Exhaust Manifold Studs" for $2.95 each and "Turbo Compressor Studs" for $19 each. What's the difference between the two? I'm guessing the Turbo Compressor Studs are the ones I'm after? Thanks for any help
  5. Hi Looking for a stock RB20 turbo elbow. Please let me know if you have one available. Contact me on here, or message me on 0434 030 114. Cheers
  6. Hi Just wondering if the only difference between the A31 CAS and R32 CAS is the plug? Apart from the square and round plugs, are they exactly the same? I want to de-pin my square plug and convert it to the round R32 plug. Finding the square plug CAS is getting harder and harder... Are the pins in the exact same locations on both? Or do they have to be rearranged? Thanks for any help
  7. Thanks for your help. I'll replace it.
  8. I've just taken the driver's door panel off, and I can see the black central locking actuator. I've taken the actuator off the rod and it seems to work fine remotely, in and out. So it looks like it just hasn't got the strength to push the rods in and out for locking and unlocking... Can the actuator be fixed, or is it time to buy a new one?
  9. Hi I have a Cefiro. Lately the central locking has sort of stopped working. Manually, the central locking works if I use the key. All 4 doors will lock and unlock. But, if I use the remote, the central locking won't work. It sounds like it wants to and will slightly move, but not enough to actually lock or unlock. Sort of moves half way... I've changed batteries in the remote, but I still have the same problem. What could be causing this? Thanks for any help
  10. Hey Anyone know a place in Adelaide that has these available over the counter? Thanks heaps for any help
  11. Hey I have a set of Cazman adjustable toe arms which have been serving me well, but recently they have become loose at the point circled below: It's the part that connects to the hub, it's bolted on rather than welded. It needs to be tightened because it moves around and causes heaps of squeaking. I was wondering if anybody knows just how tight it should be? Also how tight should the two adjustable nuts be? Should I tighten the hell out of them? Cheers for any help
  12. Hi Looking for a stock 10psi rb20 wastegate. Must be in good working order. Let me know if you have one. Thanks
  13. Thanks heaps for that!
  14. Hey Just wondering if someone has a diagram of the RB20 turbo water and oil lines? Thanks heaps
  15. Bump Still looking for a stock RB20 turbo
  16. Hi Looking for a stock RB20 turbo in good working order. Stock lines would be great too. I'm located in Adelaide. Prefer to buy locally, but let me know if you have one interstate. Cheers
  17. Hey Any suggestions? I used to get all my alignments done at Adelaide Radial Tyre in Holden Hill. Tried calling today, lines dead, drove down and realised it's shut down... Where are some tried and trusted wheel alignment joints? I've got the standard setup, coilovers all round, camber tops front, camber and toe arms rear. Did a few searches on here, found a topic from 2013 mentioning SA Motorsport Tyres and Kevin Kenny Tyres amongst others. Are these guys still worth visiting, or are there others worth taking a look at? Also, roughly, what sort of prices would I be looking at from places like SA Motorsport Tyres and Kevin Kenny Tyres for example? Thanks heaps for any help
  18. Hi Please let me know if you have one for sale, even if it's broken. Prefer one that's working, but even if it's not, let me know. Looking for any of these: Digital cluster Digital loom HUD Thanks
  19. Cheers guys, thanks for your help
  20. Nah no dents, sump is all good. A fair bit of oil must have remained even after draining... I think the best thing to do is simply get it at the correct level. I'll see if I can drain some without undoing the plug completely, otherwise I'll dump the lot and then put it back in at the appropriate level.
  21. Hey Actually, I'm really only after the stock bulbs. I've done LEDs and now would just like a nice understated incandescent light. Particularly I'm after the bulbs in the blue twist lock bulb holder. This blue holder typically has a red dot on it. The bulbs are 12v 2w. If you have any lying around/spares could you please let me know? Thanks heaps
  22. Hey I've done searches in regards to this, but there are differing opinions and not many proper answers... I've dumped oil plenty of times. This time though, after letting the oil drain for about an hour, I went ahead and put in fresh oil. But I've accidently overfilled... It's 4L engine + .4L oil filter on a RB20DET. Engine has done 150k. I put about 4L in, let it sit, had a look at the dipstick and it showed above H. Went for a small drive, let it sit again, but still sitting about 4mm too high. The dipstick shows the oil level about 4mm above max. and it just touches the letter H. Should I drain some out? Cheers
  23. Hey If anyone has a broken Skyline (R31,R32, R33... etc. or Ceffy) cluster please let me know. Doesn't matter what's wrong with it, even if it's completely beaten up. I'm in Adelaide, prefer to keep it local, but let me know anyhow. Cheers
