This has been coverd alot before. It is an electric antenna. It should go up and down automaticly with your radio being turned off and on. Is there an aftermarket radio installed? someone may have disconected it as people think there ugly when up. If you have a series 2 there is a button on the dash so you can control the height of it. Or its possible that the rope inside the mast has snaped and you will need to replace the mast and rope with an aftermarket one from aerpro.

No. The 300 dash cluster was a resprisentation of "high performance" so i highly doubt they would make one for an auto as an auto. I have never come across one anyway.

Not a problem . What kind of power supply did you buy? I wouldnt worry to much about it. Just make sure you do the same with the other one when you install that. If you wire them up back to front the tweeter will be out of phase to the woofer in your door, its not really a problem with tweeters as they operate on a higher frequency which isnt afected much by it. I doubt you would be able to hear a difference between being in phase and out of phase. You would need a multimeter to test the resistance of the tweeter but its not going to tell you which wire is the negative or positive it will just show the resistance of of it so theres no real point in even testing it. As i said above i wouldnt be worryed about it.

hes not going to have a problem with wiring as the stock system is rated to 55 watts. Same applys with heat. One of the advantages of using HID's is there equal or higher light output using less power then standard globes. stock HID's are rated to 35 watts and are more then enough. There wont be any problems with using 50 watt HID's but you will probly get alot of glare and anoy alot of other people on the road. I have personally never used or installed 50 watt units for customers so i cant really say what there going to be like. But yes the 50 watt units will be a fair bit brighter then the 35 watt ones.

yea pritty sure they need to be able to self clean the lense.like a little wind screen wiper on the headlight so if they get dirty you can clean them so if something gets on there it wont difract the light and cause glare. Mitch are you selling any interior bits?

My missus is always in aw of how the carpets and interior of my 1993 car are still cleaner and in better condition then her 2005 hyundai no matter how many times she cleans it. My response is clean them when they get dirty lol. Or the other day when i went around a round about at a reasonable pace and there was no tyre noise no nothing out of the ordinary and she said when i go around about at a quarter the speed my tyres make all this noise and the car feels like its about to fall over. My response: it might have something to do with my tyres being twice the width of yours.

I seem to remember something about it being illigal for a camera car to flash in front of you as it could distract you or something so im going to say no you cant get caught speeding from a camera car on the other side of the road. Please explain what your trying to do again, what you said didnt really make any sence but from what i got out of it your trying to power some headlight globes outside of the car for something else? You need to work out how many amps your circuit will draw so you can choose a plug back adapter. Amps = Watts ÷ Volts. So using that formula if you have a standard headlight globe which is 55 watts you would have a current draw of 4.5 amps for each globe. Remember tho that a cars electrical systems voltage can vary abit. Normally when the car is running it will be at about 14.x volts, as the voltage rises the current draw will lower so you dont really have to worry about it. Plug back adapters that can supply a decent amount of current 10 - 15 amps will be rather expensive IF you can even find one. The kelvin rating does not dictate how bright there going to be. The kelvin rating is purly a colour temprature rating only. Around 4300K is the whitest its going to get anything beyond that and it will start going more blue. The HID kits you will be looking at will all be rated to 35watts.

It is under the dash, it doesnt look anything like a conventional speaker tho. its been converd before and i beleve there is a DIY in the DIY section.
