  1. None of the cars that crashed were performance cars...
  2. The sad thing is that a relay is a relay. It would be pretty easy to hook up a cheap relay to do the same job. EDIT: Thinking about what you said, its probably just a bad connection somewhere and the relay is more then likely fine.
  3. Isnt there only one refinery in WA that can produce 98octane?
  4. ERRRR, that station is in HUNTINGDALE, not THORNLIE. *mutters rude words at thornlie*
  5. Define Lag? I get 10psi at 3,200ish, with positive pressure starting around 2,500. Running a 600x300x75 ebay cooler. Nistune 3"bell mouth dump front, 3" trust full exhaust (very quiet)
  6. Do what i said first. Relay's are supposed to tick when they enguage, and tick when they release. They can be bought from many places. Nissan would be a start.
  7. Just inject 12v directly to the pump to see if its working or not. If it is, then you have a problem with the relay/circuit. That's all an Auto Electrician will do, really...
  8. Interesting. I have all the mods you have except the FPR. And possibly some differences in the FMIC and exhaust. Running 10psi im only making 170rwkw. I wonder where the difference is at. >.> When you say low mount exhaust manifold, is that a custom, or the standard?
  9. I'm not going to participate in the R debate again.
  10. +11tybillion Dont get the R's
  11. all easy stuff to do if you have the patience, and a simple toolkit.
  12. Just get permission, i'm sure your work would hire it to us for cheap cheap, and im sure we would all be willing to pitch in
  13. Woo theres a vid of me, but not of my drifty run i say next time we organise a fill time video man, even pay them. I'd be very interested in watching my driving style in detail from that perspective
  14. I didnt have to tap oil/water lines for my 20de. Is this not the case for the 25de ? Oil inlet = blanking bolt Oil Drain = Blanking nut thing. Water line to block = blanking bolt. Water line to the inlet side was tricky, i installed the Y piece off a donor 20det motor(on the inlet side), which you then plump up the line that goes around the back of the head (inbetween the firewall). That was by far the hardest thing in my whole conversion. The rest was eeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzz.
  15. Don't take offence to this Liz, it isnt directed at you, just something BB has said that i really respect. I wish everyone would be handed a piece of paper with this written on it before they give their keys over for a tune. EDIT: Sig'ed
  16. For me, if i want to run anymore boost -reliably- i will need to put low comp pistons in. That also would be a rewarding way to learn how to pull apart engines.
  17. You will need to cut holes for the intercooler piping. If its a FMIC, you will need to do the normal things required to mount that. If it comes with a tuneable ECU. Do this. Get as much as you can off your friend. Install injectors into your 25de bolt on turbo manifold and turbo pipe up the water and oil lines. install intercooler get your 25de+t tuned and drive it till it blows (if it ever blows), then when it does, you have a 25det motor spare. 25de+t's are bloody good! read the green text below.
  18. I dont think he would have painted his roof silver and put stockies on??
  19. Jon Sanders Drive? Man that road has been fked for a long time. I had to use that road for 3 years...
  20. Indeed i haven't done an R34, so define, "Alot more" ???
  21. I rekon the "mechanic" thinks the Neo Cover is part of the intake manifold...
