  1. lovely bang for buck cars. if your worried about the lack of torque down low, drop the clutch at 6,000rpm and praise the atessa system
  2. Definately recommened a Nistune and s1 turbo. If you have a spare bit of cash, get an EBC. You wont regret it!
  3. He didn't really rev that to 8,500 did he? =( That boost graph is your problem, hahaha. Not sure why its all over the shop. is that line with splitfires? did you change your spark plugs? upgrade injectors? Im not sure what parts you are using, but i'd be questioning the quality of turbo > dump pipe > exhaust > fmic+piping. just anything relating to boost problems.
  4. use a correctly sized ring spanner whilst torquing the spanner anti-clockwise tap the nut/thread with a hammer (rounded ones are easiest) that will get the nut cracked, from there on it will be finger tight unscrew the nut, but leave it on. you dont need anymore then 5mm of room between the nut and the wheel get a friend ready to hit the nut with the hammer dis enguage any locking/positioning mechanisms that hold your wheel where you want it pull as hard as you can from the drivers seat while your mate hits the nut with the hammer.
  5. As rare as the GTS25s are, i dont think they are worth 9k... Its a little average condition. I hope he doesnt think those wheels increase the value... Ive noticed the drivers door does not seem to be aligned correctly... Coolant from "WHERE THE ENGINE MEETS THE EXHAUST PIPE", anymore details on that? The engine does not connect with the 'exhaust pipe', however the 'exhaust manifold' bolts to the 'head'. If thats the case... Hmmm... Im no mechanic but it could be a few things... cracked head blown head gasket A compression test will help diagnosis. Along with other symptoms. Is it a genuine GTS25 ??? ---Considering it has a Neo in it NOW, it could be a GTS. ---Are those brakes original? 5 Stud original? ---I dont see ABS; ------GTS's dont have abs, and the majority of gts-t's do. Im unsure on the GTS25's I found the advert on Car Sales...

  7. Is the car an original gts25? They are pretty rare. Sounds like he's done the good, sensible mods to it. Would be a pearler of a first car if its in good condition! Get it checked out. And go for it!

  10. True! When i worked for bluescope no one ever reffered to it as SHS. Everything was bundled into 'RHS'

    Whoooaaa... Go to welshpool man. When I imported my car, i asked the pit inspector more questions then he asked me. A trick i think works is if you know something is borderline dodgy, be upfront and ask them, and say that you are unsure about it. Half the time they will say "Yeah you needa change/fix that, but I trust you'll do it, so i wont worry about it" GL
  16. Money issues or not, what if he still wants to learn? Buy the books, buy a 180b, there is one for sale for $700 which is a great deal, its just unlicenced (who cares?), rebuild it. enjoy the satisfaction, and take your time with the rb25

  18. Ive seen a R32 half cut with cruise control. R31's had it. And a friend of mine has an R31 pillarless manual passage with cruise control >.> Could be a different story for 33's and 34's ?
  19. Gosh i hate dyno's that put in kmph instead of rpm. What are the RPM differences?
