  1. I can afford the pads, but it seems a bit ridiculous that the ATTKD pads from China are MORE expensive then the big name brands like Ferodo etc. Who else sells these kits?
  2. $500 for pads seems like a lot for a kit that's only worth $2k. Or is that just how much race pads are worth these days? Is there anywhere else you can source D2 pads other than just jap?
  3. Where do you get the race pads from? Justjap only had the ATTKD pad for $599. How much are the D2 pads?
  4. Just picked up a D2 kit that came with street pads that can go in the bin. Got on the phone to a few places for some race pads and am yet to find anything under $500, except for the A1RM's from QSL. They did mention winmax W5's were a step up from the A1RM's but they could chew through the D2 rotors. What do you guys think? f**king Justjap wanted to charge me $599 for ATTKD pads lol

  8. Out of curiosity, what are the main reasons why you think the GTST is a more reliable platform? Or rather, what were the issues that were causing you hassles with the GTR that you don't find on the GTST?

  11. Thanks for that. When you say stock turbos, do you literally mean standard ceramic Nissan turbos? I don't think that would be possible as they wouldn't last very long.
  12. These are the door trims I'm running at the moment: So a vinyl wrap or something similar should be ok? Would have to check my suspension out to see if it complies, but engine wise is mostly standard save for -7's and supporting mods like catch can, extended sump, surge tank etc What about boost monitoring? What about sidepipes?
  13. 6 years later I have more or less finished my car, and am looking at getting my car eligible for 3J again. Aside from the 2x27mm restrictors, what else do I need to consider to be eligible? I noticed a few guys are running e85, would that be of any benefit with the restricted turbos?
  14. Just out of curiosity, what U2L IPRA would you recommend? Their lap times seem impressive, what sort of coin would be required to be competitive in that class? Has anyone here driven a FWD race car? Are they fun to drive?

  20. Bought a Do-Luck DTMII G-Sensor unit. Should be interesting, it combines throttle input with g sensor readings to improve the Attessa. As for the diffs, just want to test the 4wd first before thinking about changing the front diff. Is it worth putting a quaife in the rear or is 1.5/2 way diff enough? Anyway, now just waiting for the g sensor and wheels to arrive from Japan, then I can slap on the brakes, wheels, tyres and get her stickered up and ready to go! In the meantime, going to pull out the shocks and suss out the suspension. Had some pretty serious understeer issues last time out. Anyway, does anyone know where I can find these boot clips? They can be found both the Calsonic GTR and the Winfield car. any ideas?
