  1. yes, just other things such as throttle body clean and topping up coolant plus a flush would be good too. but sounds good to me service and a dyno tune
  2. if you go high mount i have a RB20 manifold with a t2 flange ready to go and for sale
  3. make sure if you get a standard gtr boost solinoid to take out the restrictor in the hose

  5. any different at night time? i found my peak boost hit better and more often at night time
  6. GT RS...about the same response as a gt2530 but with more top end
  7. run some injector cleaner through the fuel and give it a throttle body clean
  8. good for basic fuel and air mixtures to make more power. my r32 made 189hp with the safc2 there untuned with all the normal bolt on mods. but tuned made it to 211hp(157.5kw). i was happy with the 22hp gain from it and its also a lot smoother drive

  12. rb20det gtr cooler hks mushroom hks zorst(3 from the turbo 2.5 from the "cat") EBC std pump/inject./turbo/afm safc2 157.5kw pretty happy for something pretty standard

  14. hey, yeh permits cost very lil. last time i checked it was like $35 per mod. dont quote me on it. but it should be around that mark. what they will do is site it, check that it is fitted correctly and working in the proper manor then right down what it is, what it does and what part of the car it belongs to(i think) ie engine. you get a sheet of paper(the permit) saying its all legal and from then on you have to keep the paper in your car at all times. plus you can always add to the list if you wish
  15. HKS make a GTRS kit to fit a RB20 engine.(meaning it comes with a t3 flange). the only thing i can think of that might need to change is your dump...MAYBE...im not 100% on this. if you bought this turbo with the right flange(T3), OMG, save you stuffing around big time

  17. working for RAC i can tell you that getting the inspection at RAC is all good, but the pretty much re-check it again at DPI(pointless). its a current problem and is a good topic at work. where i work we all appretiate nice cars so we can understand where you are coming from. as long as everything is save, no leaks, tyres are in good nick and a service history would help it might be ok.
