speaking of young people with nice cars, I saw a lovely blue 350z with a P plater driving at Kardinya shops the other day.
Not sure if he was that young though, youngish looking but he might just have arrived recently in the country.
nice car though :drool
I almost had the same thing happen to me when I was buying the R33.
Had everything arranged, insurance, registered in my name, finance approved...then the day comes and the final phone call to the bank "Oh! is this an import, I'm sorry we don't finance imports."
I think I scared the guy..."It's a bit F*&%^NG late to tell me that, I've already had the car registered in my name...blah blah rant rave"
Eventually the superviser said they could provide a secured personal loan but for $500 less than the price of the car WTF!? so I had to get Jash to make out a stupid invoice with the $500 seperate in cash.
God Damn I hate banks.
Got the 'line though so I'm still smiling
Just how illegal would that be in WA?
If a cop saw it would it be an immediate yellow?
and how hard is it to remove to get it over the pits?
you got me thinking now
I remember a previous thread on this and carby cleaner was said to be a no no as it leaves a residue. Brake cleaner was recommended and I have used this on my AFM with no issues and a noticeable improvement. Always have to be gently with the AFM though, and take it off the car before cleaning, don't go spraying this stuff up your intake.
I use the soft wash gel and the Deep Crystal wet look polish, lovely stuff.
The soft wash gel is supposed to clean without removing the polish, does the Gold class stuff also say it doesn't remove the polish?
don't assume an EBC will fix that jolt / mass air cut problem.
Is it like everything just chokes up for a second and you get thrown foward into the seatbelt a bit? I get that when on high boost setting and flooring it in and around 3rd gear, usually in cooler weather.
Should this clicking sound be loud?
For a while now mine has been making a chunky gear slipping noise, at least that's what it sounds like to me, sounds like gear teeth jumping.
Doesn't sound healthy.
I was advised when I bought my car that I shouldn't play with the balance setting on the Profec B EBC. Why? I can't remember what reason I was given at the time.
The Balance dial goes from mild to sharp (on mild at the moment), does anyone know why I would be told "don't touch"?
Can I damage the turbo or wastegate actuator by turning it up to sharp?
If it's relevant I have stock turbo but with a big FMIC.
I have a similar question regarding the Greddy Profec B EBC.
The Balance dial going from mild to sharp, I was advised when I bought the car that I shouldn't touch that dial.
Anyone know why? and can I damage the turbo or wastegate actuator by turning it up to sharp?
I have that same cooler (or similar model), sweet.
what did the bar chopping cost or did you so it yourself?
also did you get a quote for a cleaner chop where they cap the ends of the hole etc?
I always think about getting out the hacksaw and chewing into the front bar but so far I've chickened out.
