spotted a white S2 stag on hampstead road tonight with 350z wheels. Was in old mans audi so wouldnt have seen me.

Hi All, After driving adams 260 when we drove it in Brissy and a few times back here in adelaide Im starting to come to terms with how much nicer these cars are to drive with a manual box. To top it off i drove a mates r33 on sunday home from work thats manual and again enjoyed it... Has anyone done a conversion at home? eg. NO HOIST? Once all parts were obtained would a weekend see it out? Im aware of two other stag owners in SA that are currently contemplating the conversion so lets chuck some ideas around.... Yes ive read the fyi threads.

hi rod, Its hard to tell but is that loom modified? The blue tape around the Black with Red stripe wire. any other things like this on the loom. If you want we could meet up and compare ecu looms even though ive got a piggyback wired in..

no matter how long you let it drain for their is still going to be some oil in the filter.... Just remove the plug cap and dipstick and let it drain for about 10. (your removing the filler cap and dipstick so that it drains properly and doesn't just create a vacum. While its draining place a rather absorbent rag under the filter (think it sits on the front diff??) Whip the filter off and get it upside down as quick as you can to avoid as much spillage as possible. I have a mate that did a filter on my car for me and he managed to not spill a drop, alot of that was due to the speed he undid the filter.

Posted this up in the stag section and was pointed in the right direction straight away. All fixed and silent as a mouse, took an hour at tops:)

Bang on the money here guys! Jacked the front on stands. off with the wheel. Took the bolt out and removed the spings from each seal and pried the seals off. Sprayed some inox inside and then pulled the inserts out of the bush and greased the life out of everyhting. Put it back together and put wheel on dropped car down and snugged the bolt up. Queit as a mouse =) Thanks a heap josh!

Im after some of the rear boot trim on the drivers side. Would be best to come have a look at pull it out cos its hard to explain

haha no GF at the moment. But i do have a funny story... Took a girl for a drive down to the bay a few weeks back to go for a walk around the place icecream and walk on the beach ect (early stages of getting in her pants ayy ) On the way down their on anzacs a black VE V8 commie of some sort pulled up next to us with 4 male occupants and the driver put down his window and said Ill race you for your missus. HAHA she WASNT impressed and put the window up almost immediately.

I put this up in the stag section as well and their are two others that had the same problem. For both of them they removed a bolt on the control arm pryed back the seal on the bush with a flat head screwdriver and sprayed some lube in each end and it shut the thing up. Start uni late tomorrow so will give it a crack

what am i being carefull for when it springs up will it bash the guard? or just keep my hands clear? If its just to avoid hand injury ill get cheffstagea over here to do it and not tell him... ive bled many times due to his cars :@!
