F.s: Apexi Safc 2
kidafa replied to R334door(s2)'s topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
mate thats a SAFC in the photo, I did say you said this isnt the exact one but might want to put up a photo of an actual SAFC2 to stop confusion. SAFC2 has the small round dials on left side and no buttons on right. Hope this helps. $250 good buy ppl, espesh for us with auto stageas as its hard to get an ecu replacement ---- shameless plug -
haha Thanks for that Nick. It is pretty much confirmed that it was ledgit unless he has access to Gov. and Navy email accounts. Said he was called out and couldnt tell us much more than he will be back in august! and he can check email twice a day via sat uplink.....

So far he's: Paid a deposit Paid insurance (got it sorted prior so we were covered on the drive home) Paid for 2 one way air faires to sydney Purchased some bits and peices incase dramas mechanically occured on the way back (hoses belts ect.. ect..) Put his current car back to stock for sale and pretty much have a buyer lined up for purchase this week when we get back We'be both organised time off work aswell. As hes a cheff and its sat night hes at work... AND GETS THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE AROUND 9pm: "Hi Adam sorry it's late, had some bad news this weekend I will be flying out of the country tomorrow night I have to put off the car for the forseeable future. I will refund any costs you have incurred for flights and your deposit. I will only be able to access email from tomorrow as phone wont work over there, send me your bank details. Please acept my apology I cant say much more than that right now. What shall we do? Is their anything we can? Dudes not answering calls or anything. Cheers, Chris and Adam

-

-

-
funny I said that, saw the yellow stag turning onto the bottom of the freeway on my way home from work in mt barker. Got a good wave Also saw a black r32 in the bp at mt barker, anyone from here?
-
did you use three inch piping?
-
Yeah this is a STOCK YELLOW manual here in SA Lives at Victor Harbor just near our farm... Good to drive past eveyr so often when i have stag withdrawals when im away.
-
got one clogging up 'my" part of the shed roo. The snorkel has been modified slightly to allow for intercooler pipe to go under it. Flick me a pm. Would like to be able to borrow if if i ever needed it... Dont see why though. Also have a Hi flow Blitz filter for it that done less than 5K.

Ryan, I have a lift sorted in sydney. If you after the deck get onto it quick smart cos we fly out monday morning early so Mike needs to get it to one of us! Also we wont be in sydney very long so we'll need to sort it out quick smart!
-
yeah the tinted perspex is from bunnings. Mmmmm with stock intercooler you'd just need to be more creative with where you source the air from and how you get it into the bay Ive been thinking of doing the intake pipe mod for a while but never actually have.... Notice any difference? More induction noise im guessing? (mine doesnt need any more.... sounds like a jumbo jet as it is!)
-
Sounds like your issue could be the alternator...
-
Cheers Jesse, Pod was 85 i think or very close to it posted from JDM tune- a Ebay store. after purchase i found out acording to a mate the Drift branded pods from autobahn, flow and filter very well and would be half the cost I think!
-
Tom, please put prices on your bits not just all make an offer. Dont want to sound like an idiot but this aint fuc**ng ebay
-
Some photos of my stag and cheff stageas and Stagstock over my holidays.
-
Well its done. I went with an Apexi Pod that bolted direct to the AFM- NO adaptors, No mucking around. a gasket and 4 Bolts DONE. Then went to Bunnings to purchase some tinted perspex and ClarkRubber for some rubber edge and some 65mm black flexipipe. Bent up a heat sheild and chucked it over the pod. Also moved some of the contents in my Engine bay under it. Ran the flexi pipe from front bar into engine bay via the unused stock intercoller pipe, puts air straigh onto pod, streched an old stocking over the end in the bay aswell as a pre filter. When their is no direct focused light on it (aka camera flash) its pretty dark under it.
