  1. got my alarm fob working!! Now have 2 that work.. wish I knew it was so easy before.. also got new keys cut =) its the little things.. oh, made a cardboard template for pod box just to see what I'm making and I rekon i'll just buy one. By the time I buy tools etc it will be about the same price and a lot less hassle.
  2. Its all been said! too much for a new driver. A performance turbo is not something you learn to drive in. My first car was a 78 Mazda Capella. rwd 1800, still had some fun, and didn't kill myself in the process. Sounds like he may have more money than sense, so maybe the world would be better off.. jks. =P
  3. quick one whilst watching a movie, but gives you the idea =) oops, just realised front wheel is a bit big. haha..

  8. looks fun!! do mine when you're finished?
  9. my main key opens everything perfect. my spare/valet key doesn't open boot. I want a new Master-key as its really quite worn out. Any of you guys coming over for Nationals?
  10. So, key has been filed, taken back to cutter to tidy up/file down some more.. now works well in drivers door and ignition, but not at all in boot or passengers door. Thinking (suggested by key cutter) that locks are worn as well as key, making it near impossible to cut a new key to work properly.... Will now be contacting auto locksmith to see about getting a key cut from the barrel or seeing if they can be fixed to suit a new key.. On the upside, got instructions on how to get my 2nd alarm fob re-synced to the alarm so both will work =) Maybe if you smile and wink nicely at them they will take a liking to you..
  11. wd40 made no difference. is it likely the powder will be much better? today, the key won't work at all in the boot (just like the 'spare' key i got with the car. But i presume its meant for valet. though the valet key has different valley size)
  12. Damn man, thats some bad luck!! Guess you can only be glad it was the shitter and not the line.. Got a new key deliivered, my old one is quite worn so I had a cheapy cut first, it's REALLY tight to turn! is this normal? at first I didn't think it was going to work, but noticed a little movement so used more force. do I need to get it trimmed down a bit further? do the lock barrels need fixing?
