use the ngk platinum plugs PFR6A-11 even though mine is a gt-t i have been told these plugs will work fine in the n/a skylines. you can pick them up from any supercheap auto 4 i think from memory 18 bucks each. mine had pfr8b in them then put the pfr6g in and the car is running beter than it was b4 hope this helps

i dare say that ur wheel bearing might have let go. if u r able 2 jack the vehicle up so the back wheels r of the ground, if u have another person around get them 2 shake the wheel and have a look underneath and c if anything moves and that will tell u if its in the suspension or in the hub. also while the wheels r of the ground spin the wheel and c if u can hear any noise coming from the hub area if there is its more than likely the wheel bearing. The ball bearings that u found could b from the wheel bearings but i have never seen them just fall out with the wheel and everything on i have seen them fall out when we have been replacing them and the ball bearings can be small like the 1s u hace in the photo

this person bought the program about 4 months ago so i presume its op to date. The product is the FC COMMANDER PRO XPORT and the number is 415-x910 will this cover the r34 and if it will r they locked 2 a certain vin. Thanks in advance

If your in melb and stuck i can tune it for you. Unfortunatly i live at Bathurst otherwise i wouldve got u 2 have a look at it 4 me would i b beter off stickin with this pfc or get a new 1 or another ecu

we were trying his copy of datalogit and it would conect but then would say check ecu conection and we were trying for about 2 hours trying 2 connect it up. it works fine in his 33gtr but it wont read in my gtt and a 34gtr v spec so could it b the early version. my pfc is a silver box 2 if that helps.

hey thanks for the quick reply ill look into that program does any1 know of other programs as i have 3 vehicles that need to use it. i just put a new o2 sensor in it but cause it doesnt have a hand controler i cant get into anything 2 find out where the tune has gone out of wak as it was all in the vehicle when i bought it the serial number in the fc is (pfc er34 000-0021) if that helps.

hi i was just wondering wat program people have that they use 2 remap power fc. we were trying 2 get mine yesterday with the fc datalogic and it wouldnt read on mine and the car is in need of a tune as when running on light throttle the air/fuel is running at 10.0 to 1 and lucky 2 get 250k to a tank of fuel. thanks in advance

yeah just get the discs machined if u feel it through the wheel its the fronts but when u lightly touch the brakes if u can feel it back through the wheels then its in the rears aswell. a normal maching should only cost around 25 2 35 a side

the event was closed 2 all public so photos will b hard 2 come by but me and a friend managed 2 get up 2 the elbow when the porsches were out on the sat arvo and he got sum footage on his phone, its not much but ill get it off him and load it up. yeah those cup cars were hauling around the mount. does any1 know who hit the wall at skyline and in the elbow, it was a bit hit in the elbow, i walked the mount yesterday to look at the marks and the grass is covered in glass. cheers in advance

yeah it sucks breaking tools. i was fortunate that being an apprentice so i hate a long spanner that came up behind the hose so i was able 2 undo it easier

yeah loosen the back 1 first then turn the long 1. its the worst part bout performance cars everything is all confined.

if u look at the top of the alternator there will be a long bolt going 2wards the motor that will adjust the belt. along that bolt where it goes into the alternator there will b a 12mm bolt or nut i cant rember wat it is but loosen that then turn the long bolt also a 12mm head to tighten the belt up then make sure that u tighten the first bolt other wise it will work itself loose. u should b able 2 push the belt down about 7 -8mm is a good spot. i will try post a photo of the bolt 4 u. Not to sure bout the turbo timer mine was already fitted when i bought the vehicle.

easy way 2 check is the slackness in the belt u shouldnt b able to push the belt down more than 1cm. if it is more than that tighten it up and make sure the bolt at the back is toght. mine was a little bit loose and the belt was working loose and squelling. if the noise is still there then the next easy thing 2 do 2 check if it is the alternator is take the belt off completely and start the car up if the noise isnt there thats ur prob. hope that helps

running 6.0 degrees caster is more than enough 4 any road goin car. running positive caster helps when turning out of corners it brings the wheels back straiter and also helps with the sraightline stability. hope this helps -
Pass Rego With Different Front Suspension?

dependin on how leniant the rego inspector is. you would b beter of to swap both front coilovers that way the vehicle is safer on the road, and if they crack the shits tell them that the other coilover is geting either fixed or replaced -

Safest Way To Move Brake Lines From Booster

it will be easier undoing the lines to move them out of the road as i think from memory that with undoing the master cylinder the lines stop it from moving out enough to slide it sideways to fit the plenemn to the motor. -
the reason they say 2 disconnect the battery is so that incase you touch sumthing u shouldnt and cause damage to the ecu or anything else

ok yeah mines a silver 1 2. i only use the 1 on stuart st as its got all new tanks in it. i just changed the fuel filter in mine and i got more out of that tank with the same driving style. when u change the filter have a clean container and drain the filter out from the in side and give it a blow and check 2 see how dirty the fuel was that comes out of it. mine was lookin like tea

hey bill i live in bathurst and have never seen ur car i thought the only 34s out here were mine and the yellow gtr. anyway wat servo do u use? i have similar mods besides i have the profec b spec2 and hks bov. the weird thing is that im getin beter fuel economy now that its warming up im geting about 400 2 a tank of fuel city driving. But out on the road it doesnt change even when my mum drove my car to orange as i had 2 take her car 2 sydney 2 pick family up and she isnt a lead foot and only got 14l/p100k. Anyway it mite have block injectors witch mite b not giving it enough fuel under medium load but the ecu could b trying to corect by opening the injectors longer when not under medium load and running rich. it mite b worthwhile gettin the cat check for blockage.

i have a 34 gtt and it has a greddy radiator cap thats at 1.3 bar and ive never had any probs. the car has the usual mods to it hks fmic, hks exhaust, power fc, spitfire coils. and the car is driven reasonably hard and it has never used a drop of coolant since ive had it
