  1. also when u have the starter out get a friend 2 wind the motor by hand from the crankshaft pully and check the flywheenls ring gear 4 damage. Does the car have an aftermarket flywheel?
  2. the sollinoids r the little can type thing on the starter motor. b4 u pull the starter motor out check all the connectors on the starter as 1 might have cum loose. if they r all tight pull the starter out and get a jumper pack and test it by puting the earth clamp on the housing where the bolts go through and touch the stud where the positive terminal is but dont leave it on 4 2 long as u can damage the starter and watch 2 c if the gear moves fowared and spins. but keep ur hand out of the road when doing this i have seen bad things hapen first hand from peps leaving their hand in the road. if u have a vice it will b a hell of a lot easier.
  3. could b ur starter motor not engaging on the flywheel. not sure how hard they r 2 pull out but the sollinoid could b playing up occasionaly and not engaging the gear. is the motor turning over when it does this

  6. the easiest way that i know of cheching 2 c if the abs is working is if u know where a big open spot of grass or dirt is that u can travel at 30-40 then slam ur foot on the brakes if u feel the pedel pulsing under ur foot its working.

thats bullsh#t man i work in the industry and if i even thought of doing crap like that i would b out the door like that. b4 u go 2 c the workshop and loose it at them go talk 2 the department of fair trading and c what can b done then go c the owner of the workshop and ask for all work done to ur car in full and if they ask y dont give them a reason then when they have done all that ask them and the person that worked on the car 2 come out the front then show them

  17. the easiest way 2 check the a/c system is if u hear the ac compressor in then it has gas in as the compressor wont cut in without pressure in the lines. if it wont vary between hot and cold. stick ur head under the dash and get a friend 2 vary the temp between hot and cold and u should c sum levers move on the side of the heater box. if u cant c anymove then there is a problem in that part. hope that helps
