  1. Akimbo Shotties are sooo much fun.. Tis my current layout.
  2. Callum's photos are up. Not all of them but most of the good ones. http://s967.photobucket.com/albums/ae159/C...%20Track%20Day/
  3. Good to see all you guys up there. I'll get the link off Callum when he puts all his photos up of the day.
  4. They are really good photos Melly. Where was the location for the 3 cars side by side shots??
  5. I'll be coming up to watch. Will probably get there around 10am.
  6. Lots of MW2 on PC here. Nickname of W1ngnut. Will add you when I get home. Only have World Tour on PS3, is 5 any good?
  7. Haha, blast from the past! Have owned and played the original right through to Vengeance.. Couldn't aim too great but had heaps of fun on CTF multiplayers...
  8. So far so good, only 50km on the tread but fine at 100km/h.. Insane grip!
  9. I'd offer to help Melly, but I know formals have lately attracted inspectors and my engineers certificate doesn't get updated till next Thursday. Bit of a bummer.
  10. And for those with a White R33.. It would look like this: *Please note* They are not identical wheels to Frink, but the same design (diff offsets etc)
  11. Cheers John I have it all hooked up now so i'm crossing my fingers the car is still standing tomoz
  12. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tr...=trickle+charge I did see this one, but for some reason thought it was an R32 with the battery in the front...
  13. Thanks Craved, I did read a thread about permanently installing one, which is what I was thinking, but the C-Teks flylead with the O-ring Terminal ends seemed to short to permanent mount behind the plastic cover in the boot, so i was thinking about a more front engine bay permanent install. At least I know it will charge through the front then, I wasn't sure if the front terminals for jumping just supplied extra power to the starter motor instead of connecting all the way back to the battery in the boot.
  14. Hi Guys, I was just after a quick answer of something along the lines of, "yes, it will be fine" or a "you idiot, how could you think of doing that"... I have a C-Tek charger to charge up my R33 while it sits at home. I usually connect it straight to the battery in the boot, but I was curious on whether I could get away with just connecting it to the terminals in the drivers side engine bay where you Jump Start the car from? Will it charge the battery correctly through the engine bay posts? Will it cause any damage to anything else electrical? Cheers Sam
  15. Quick answer: No. Longer answer: No it isn't. Reason: The game is great but for the singleplayer to only last 4hrs worth of gameplay, there is only so many times you can repeat it. Even Spec Ops requires online to complete some of the missions.
  16. I better start slashing my tyres then... Didn't have internet access last night so had no chance of reading all this until I got into work just then. Already dropped them down to QuickFit in Tuggerz
  17. I'll be trying Jax QuickFit in Tuggeranong. Lets see how much they can screw the balancing.
  18. These are Federal 595RS-R's as well so I definetly can't afford for someone to bugger it up...
  19. Hi Alex, What size tyres are you looking at with the 18s? I've just got a new set for mine and the other ones are still technically legal. The fronts are 225/40 with plenty of tread left and the the rears are 265/35 which are close to the tread indicators. Cheers Sam
  20. Hi Guys Have just received my new set of tyres for my rims since the 595s on the rears were close enough to not being legal (just a mm or so to go before the wear indicator). Does anyone have any good recommendations for a tyre mob to fit my new tyres up? I had QuickFit in Fyshwick mount them last time and whilst they did a quick and reasonably cheap job, the balancing was the worst I had received (over 75grams just on one rim, had it rebalanced by Inline and it came back to 15grams and drove without wobble). Also, does anyone know how well Ray Spence takes engineering cert adjustments? My rims/tyre combo is engineered but the fronts are going to 235/40 instead of 225/40 now, so I need to get it changed on the certificate. Cheers Sam
  21. Yep, 5 bars total... 0-100ms, thats terrible for one segment... should be 0-50.
  22. Played all last night to the wee hours of this morning... First 2 hours was really good, 4 bars minimum, then after that, it went down hill, 1 bar maybe 2 if I was lucky. It was so very much frustrating!
  23. This I did notice and found really weird! Why limit it back so much from 32 or even 64 players... Crazy!! I know the answer is because one of the players is the host with a bad connection to be able to host, but isn't that saying something about how the current system works??
