  1. Craig,,, You NEED water spray...... mmmwwwwwhhhhaaaaaaa
  2. Not quite Iain. The Link is Z33 & V35 but the Mount is Murano. (go figure) (I am not sure if they are the same as V35 but that is logical. I have been running the upgraded front sway bar for 2 years on my car now and have not had any problem with the front Link. The most important thing is a solution for the rear Link and Mount and sounds like you guys are all over it. Dale, I am in for the Mount when you make them. Cheers Andy
  3. Get well Iain.. silly drivers who don't look.
  4. Well there you go.. Now I have seen it all..
  5. Nice work Dale, You said you thought that by the link being slightly longer it will position the link on a better angle to the mount. So what you are saying is that by lengthing the link it lowers the position of the end of the sway bar which moves the mounting hole on the sway bar further forward and thus in line with the mount? Sounds logical and may well reduce the stress on the mount. Is this link you were supplied, the 350Z link? Cheers Andy
  6. As Craig said,, Not going to prove anything to any body. I use it because I notice a difference in economy (yes reduced consumption on the Hwy, Just drove Albury to Sydney door to door for 10L/100km). The low speed drivability is something that has to be felt as it can not be shown. And intake temps, I run an informeter on my car and can see how quickly I can bring down the intake temps when driving. Don't believe it, don't do it.
  7. A few things I have learn t in this process, * The standard intercooler flows quite well, it just does not handle the really hot days or repeated runs (so no gain there). * The plenum spacer helps drivability, economy and reduces intake temps faster. (but little real gain on the dyno) * My measurements have been on the street so not the best place to go all out. I am running out of injector duty cycle already so I would think the injectors are a must if you are to make any more changes Dunc.
  8. To give you a guide.. I had Impul, stock Turbo, full 3 inch exhaust, HDI FMIC, Plenum spacer and and my car made 152.9 awkw. I have not been back on the dyno since I installed the High Flow Turbo (Sierra Stage 1) but I know I gained approx 14% higher Power Score from the Informeter so my best estimate is now 174kw.. Just a few more things to do before tune and the 200+ number..
  9. Up your bum,, both of you... still arguing with son no1 over Xbox 360 or PS3...
  10. Thank you, That is where I was also.. too much playing on the PS3. lol
  11. That would be me indeed.. One more night here and back to Sydney.
  12. Not a speed he can mention here lol
  13. The mount is attached with 2 bolts into the sub frame. The bracket is positioned so that the the vertical edge that the mount attaches to is toward the front of the car. I have attached a photo that shows the mount and has 2 circles drawn on it. These are the points that the mount cracks. This photo is of a cracked mount. Cheers Andy
  14. yes, the brace is just the pressed steel one. If someone could make a replacement that would be "awesome". It would not be complicated at all. If you need I have a spare one at home with small cracks on both side that I can send to whoever would like to do the design. cheers Andy
  15. Dale, agree that that the LINK is a weak point but it is not the weakest point. That honor goes to the MOUNT that is attached to the subframe. It is the same part as used on the Murano but it just does not like the extra stiffness. Current sore is LINK = 1 fail.. MOUNT = 3 fails.. If we can get stronger MOUNTS made that would be of benefit provided it is not going to put more stress of the sub frame that could cause cracking. Cheers Andy
  16. Now Craig, you really are Awesome!
  17. I am trying to work out if R32 GTR brake calipers and rotors are a straight fit to a Z32? I am looking to fit 324mm rotors onto a R32 GTR and am wondering if this adapter will work on the R32 GTR? Any advise is appreciated. Cheers Andy
  18. Dale, where are you getting the adapters for the bigger rotors from? I keep looking at the ones on ebay in the US for the S14 and the Z32 and wondering if these will work? Do you have any idea if these will fit our car? Cheers Andy
  19. Sorry to say, I think you should run for the hills.. As they say, If it quacks like a duck, it probably is a Duck... In this case, if it seems like a con (money transfer via Western Union, will get a real fortune) it probably is a Con.
  20. Not the same on the front...
  21. so who is the R&D vehicle? does he want to see my well used Selby (one off) sway bars that have stood the test of 2 years under my car.. As previously mentioned. The only down side of going stiffer has been the subsequent failures of the Links and Mounts on the rear. The lowered suspension may also be a contributing factor to this.
  22. Well said Dale..
  23. Would agree if the initial post did not say all these things are available for the M35 (years 96-00) Do you see the error there? Not much point listing lots of C34 parts in a M35 thread IMO. It only confuses the information available to people.
  24. Hi Stefan You don't mention if you did any thing else. ie. did you clean the throttle body? and have you redone the procedure to reset the IDLE AIR LEARNING and RECALIBRATE THE TPS and RESET THE IDLE? Once you have made the changes you mentioned it is important to do this reset procedure so the ECU knows what the current parameters are. If you need the info of how to do this let me know. You mentioned in your first post that the idle was around 800rpm (which is too high). The ECU only memorizes the idle when you can set it between 650-750rpm. Given your PCV was not in the best working order i would suggest you do these procedures and I am confident you will see a substantial improvement. Cheers Andy
  25. I think you are very confused about what you are posting. The years of production you are talking are only relevant to the C34 Stagea. The M35 Stagea only started production in 2001. So lets be really clear here..... Based on the information you have posted above, you DO NOT offer a sway bar to suit the M35 STAGEA..
