  1. don't worry about the FAST. I will sort that out for you.
  2. Night have to get you to show me where the ICV is?
  3. Have you had the plugs replaced at 80k? I was told that is when they are due. My car is at 70K and is doing a similar thing but I have not related it to anything other than hard stops in 1 or 2 in manual mode. I am pretty sure it will be the plugs but will see if I can wait the extra 10k. I was told by Jetwreck that his cars performance improved when he replaced his plugs. I had another odd stall the other day, the car turned all the electrics off and motor stopped as I stopped at some lights. It was like the computer or battery had a glitch and all power was lost. Has only done it the once in 1 year of owning so i will see what happens.
  4. +1 M35 More power and luxury..
  5. My new wheels.... not quite stock now.
  6. My wife won't drive it! Got to love that...
  7. It is literally a 10 minute job. Just take care taking out and putting back in the center console if this is your first time. On the front of the shifter surround there is a piece that sticks down, this need to locate in a hole that keep the shift surround centered. It is very easy to break off if not careful. Read the attached instructions on console removal, http://g35ipod.com/installHW.php?skin=1&src=mp3car-sig, part 17-20 are the relevant ones. Cheers Andy
  8. The M35 box will not change up till you make it no matter what revs you give it BUT is you slow right down it will choose a lower gear when you accelerate but it does not change down as easily as when in D. Cheers Andy
  9. I have done the reversal to the M35 and I now know that it will not select a lower gear at high rpm. I had enough time to think about what I did and select the higher gear in the new direction....
  10. Sometimes it does not take much. You read the threads which which count. I recon Jetwreck might be able to help us...... let's see what he says. PS. Now I have to think when making quick changes......keep going to change down under power instead of up (in the new direction)
  11. Credit where credit is due, Zei20l, poined me in the right direction. Thanks, love ya work... Only 5 minutes. this is so easy. Who is printing round stickers to put over the old + & -? for the M35 Cheers Andy
  12. Great work Waz. Feels much nicer now. Perfect for the M35. Cheers Andy PS. Waz you should be getting the M35 now you need family transport...
  13. PM sent with number. Cheers Andy
  14. The TV tuner is in the left rear kick pannel in the boot. The one with the little box in the side. If you take that off you will be able to see where it plugs in I think.
  15. I am not sure which plug the reverse camera uses on the TV tuner? On the new TV tuner there are 2 inputs so that may work.
  16. mmmm... there are a few threads about this but some of the information is buried in many pages. If you want the functions of the cars computer still available (ie, trip computer and fuel economy) you have to keep the DVD rom connected to the car. The best and cheapest solution I have seen to date is the one by Jetwreck. He has installed Headrests with DVD/monitor in them and also installed the digital TV tuner from chook. He is now able to watch TV on all 3 monitors and I believe play DVD's in the rear headrests and this will show on the front screen. This works because the TV tuner has 2 AUX inputs so he has run the DVD player out put to these. He installed this himself and he hates electrics and for less than $700. Chris Rogers knows how to install the DVD player in the place of the DVD rom and also relocate this item but it was not easy and not cheap. Have a look at V35 for sale from WazR32GTst, he has this system installed in his car. I know the input for the monitor is not RCA. You can make a RCA input for the TV tuner that allows you to run the DVD player through the AUX input of the TV and you would be able to relocate the input through the new TV tuner when you put it in. PM me if you want to meet up as you are just around the corner from my place and I can show you what I mean. Cheers Andy
  17. Sydney Kid made a set for my car off my standard ones from the car. 32mm solid at the front and 24mm solid on the rear. The are adjustable (3 holes) and these are the best as I found you need to stiffen the rear more than the front (just 1 extra hole stiffer to get best balance). If you don't want to get them from him you could get a local company to copy them from your car. The front is similar to the z350 but has a different bend in the middle. The rear is the same as the z350. Hope that helps. Cheers Andy
  18. Hi Daniel The cost was $229, I wasn't there with him but as the car I bought was only 4 year old I wasn't really worried about rust. I don't think they are exprts in imported cars but they did seem to do a reasonably thorough inspection. If other specialize in imports I would go with them. Cheers Andy
  19. I used Roadcheck and they seemed to do a good job at a reasonable cost. Cheers Andy
  20. that doesn't sound good. Sorry to hear that. But new laptop and job going soon... sounds like the result of this recent colapse..
  21. I usually go through that roundabout between 7.40 - 8. Unless I drop the kids at school on Terry's rd at 8.15.
  22. Now you have seen my car................. You must have been stuck in that line of traffic on the Eastwood side.
  23. Spotted a Silver S1 in Cromer near the shops this morning. Flashed but he was looking away, talking to passenger I think.
