I am pretty sure it is possible but not easy. It has been explained to me that the DVD rom is not just a that and in fact it is a full computer with many features. When the onboard NAVI unit is removed it will cause many problems for the stereo, factory TV tuner/display. I have been advised that it is better to work with the current unit and add an additional source if required. Jetwreck recently installed headrest that have built in DVD/screen and these play back through the Aussie TV tuner supplied by Chook and he can now watch TV, DVD or play games on all 3 screeens. I would not hold your breath for the GPS system to work or be converted. There are many difficult and legal problems to be overcome before this could even be a possibility so the short answer is I can not see it being possible. Cheers Andy

Not my economy.... thank god. I think the disc is about the GPS disc. You will not have to leave the conversion disc in the unit. He is working on a web page where you will be able to download the conversion and burn your own disc. The aim is that the you will make payment and then you will be given an access code to download the conversion part 1. The 2nd part of the conversion is then created from a unique security code that is generated by the first disc. This ensures each disc is only able to be used for 1 conversion. Hi Guys The developer has given me a photos of the conversion for the first few screens. These are shots from actual conversions. The conversion to English is on going and I am hoping may be ready in December but be assured it is happening and I have got used to having English on my first few screens and take it for granted now but I am sure you will all be happy with the result when it is complete. The opening screens is a mock up with the SUA logo and will have a different logo at the completion. The fuel consumption screen has been changed to liters per 100km. Cheers Andy

To get rid of the "Pit Stop" screen you need to turn off the "maintainence alarms". To do this you need to be stopped. 1) Bring up the "info" screen. This is the 4th button on the top row from the left. 2) Move the highlighter with the navigation wand to the right column and the 3rd box down. Select this by pushing the wand in. 3) You now are on the the maintainence screen. You will see 4 lines of info each with a scale from 0-5 ( i think). On 1 or more of these there will be a marker (this will be an upside triangle. This triangle indicates the distance to the next service interval) 4) When on this screen push the wand in to select the item, you will now we in a new screen. If the alarm is set then the bottom button on the right will have a green indicator next to it. To turn it off, highlight the button and push the wand in. This should turn it off and the green light will go out. Try this on all 4 alarms. Cheers Andy

Well done getting another idiot with a suspended licence. Obviously getting booked and getting a suspended licence previously was not enough to make him learn. Hope the judge throws the book at him. No sympathy for idiots who drive with suspended licence. They have no insurance so if they have an accident with you you will have to sue them to get any money from them.

I can't compare the Hawk's (HPS) to anything other than stock brakes but they are definatley better than stock and lots less dust. I managed to source mine over the net and bought when the exchange rates were better. Managed to get 2 x fronts and 1 x rear for $270 Aust, I noticed now that the fronts are $97 US before freight and then the exchange rate, ouch. I have to get some new pads for the r32 GTR calipers that are about to go on. Any suggestions? Cheers Andy

Glad to see to have see the light. Set up nicely these big mamas are a lot of fun to drive. It sounds like you were supplied the springs for the 250RS-RX instead of the ARX springs. I have just changed m swaybar settings again and am now set on; Front: 1st hole(lightest setting) Rear: 3rd hole (tightest setting) And turn in is more instant and nice a flat. Cheers Andy

I know that the parkers are the same as used on R33 + R34. You can buy LED parkers on ebay but I am not sure about the indicators. I would think they are the same but that is a guess. LOL

Not sure about the rear bulbs, but the front ones ones you have 2 options and yes you still need hands of an elf. The main way is to remove the inner guard (you will also have to remove the wheel), this is about 5 bolts and a few screws and then you have access. or The left are accessible when you remove the air box and the right when you remove the water bottle. So if you are getting 140awkw with the 10psi........the stock version may be similar or higher as the the stock turbo boosts upto 15psi at max.
