One of my close mates is a chemist and used to work at the refinery in Perth Pretty much all fuel in WA comes from the same point and each company adds their own additives.. Think of it as the 'wynns' octane booster and fuel cleaners being added to the fuel for you, that is basically what they do and if you do long country runs you will notice the small difference in fuel ecconomy..

I know for a fact that there is a difference in the fuels... they may have the same octane rating but do not confuse yourself thinking they are exactly the same... each company adds their own additives to perform different tasks in their fuel.. BP/Woolies - adds more cleaning agents and power add on's Sheel/Ampol - add more fuel ecconomy Peak/Gull - add water nah they add thinners to extend the fuel but get worse power and ecconomy... If you dont believe me then try it yourself in your Mrs. car and you will see it I use BP ultimate.

Check with Pedders as they do power steering and should be able to find one...

I can't see an issue with it as long as you have a helmet and reflectors like on a bike.... red on back and white on front... and obviously obay the road rules also

I personally would not have accepted that as a job done as they may have finished one job but have created another.... I would take it back and ask the question BUT i would not hold your breathe to them fixing it for free as you purchased the car as it is and the previous owner accepted the work as it was.... At least see what they say and then go about fixing it as they might have a simple solution... Unfortunately it is probably a cheap china cooler and was just slapped on the car the most simple way - this is no dig at the company as they need to make a dollar and would charge more for better quality, so blame the previous owner for being cheap and accepting it

I have a GTT with a front mount and no issue with the stock electric fan, still there and still working.... I would say whoever did the install did a fast simple job rather then spending the time to align it right and do the job correctly... Put a new fan in there for sure as the A/C will now run hotter due to the intercooler passing hot air onto the condenser....

you are correct most car parls are privately owned... but willful damage to another persons property does not matter where you are and i can tell you now they will report you if you do the same back to their car... i never take anything laying down or without a fight, dont make it easy for halfwit's to get away with damage to your pride and joy is all i am saying, otherwise it will happen to the next person they park next to.

sounds like a wrx and no power... you sure you did not get in a wrx you can visually inspect by running your finger nail around it and see if there is any hair line fracture... you can do the old turn the car over with the coil pack out and see if any spark excapes... also think you can check the resistance and make sure all are even... only other way is to start the car with one off at a time and see which one made no difference (ie you will be running on 5 cylinders with one buggered and as you remove working ones you should go to 4 running cylinders)..

It is simple guys... if you see someone in a car park do this then takes photo's and ask them for their insurance details as it is damge to your property that they need to fix... if they refuse to give details then let them know that you will be filling out an accident report in which they left the scene of the accident and will be charged accordinly it work for me to get my door completely re-sprayed when a stupid women got out of her soccer mum 4x4... and let me say her husband was not impressed she admitted it so easily

Could not agree more about the mrs.... mine even now checks if her pants have zip's or button's that might scratch it if she leans on my car she learn's well, she even tells her friends off for it

Dont worry about it at all as they are not a cop until you have seen the badge close enough to read the number on it... i had this happen to me as i had a off-duty cop do it to me, he come up to my window at the lights saying i was going to fast, i replied who the hell are you which he replied off-duty officer, asked for his badge or piss off.... he pissed off and i never heard another thing...

Guys this is a great idea as i too try to remove the stigma attached to driving a skyline. i will always allow people to cross the road and i will hold up traffic i also have helped a few people with their cars... then as i drive past and they hear the exhaust i get a disgusted look from them like i am a hoon, even though seconds earlier i stopped to let them cross... the fact is 'itsme' is right and the current affair programs have already brain washed people

Did you use a shielded power cable? Is the cable near the fuse box or rely box?

It can be considered illegal if there is no way to over-ride it, from what i have heard. To the OP i would also suggest built into the alarm, if you have an auto watch when the timer is running hit the small smooth (bottom right) button twice and see if the car turns off.

I had a problem with this when i first got my car also until i took it to my mate to align it... the issue will be the car is aligned straight so the road camber will be throwing it to the left, what you need is some one that knows what their doing to put a slight toe-in on the front left wheel to make it drive straight.

I would suggest as stated that your autowatch has the turbo timer built in... if you look at your buttons face on there should be 4 button 2 large at the top then 2 smaller under them... on mine i simply hit the smaller smooth (right) button twice to turn the car off instantly..

I find it funny that in other countries they made them illegal but then made them legal again as they make people slow down more often then not... due to all the false calls and also made poeple pay more attention to their driving speed as they need to be within a small amount of the speed limit to be able to slow down in time...

Yet people have endlessly tested new GTR to perform to the claimed 3.5-3.6 seconds had to add that.

+1 i only ever had a small issue with the cheap compliance tyres... since putting good tread on i do not have an issue hitting 10-12psi and close to red line in 2nd if i want to in my 34, depending on how wet it is... as for take off never an issue unless i want it to slide.

Problem with this outcome is now the kids know they can get away with it and will do it again knowing they will not be charged.... This will cause people to retaliate in bad ways.... just remember the defence of "heat of passion"

how about you just throw the rock back at thier head... just say you were returning it to where it came from.... bet they stop throwing rocks then and you cannot be charged for it cause you just threw a rock in the bush were they should not have been

very simple... i personally have gotten this myself... go talk to them show there is other cars in the photo regardless of direction which can cause a refraction affect on the signal being sent from the camera and back... they will have to prove beyond all doubt that this did not happen which is not possible and they will disqualify the fine and clear your record. http://www.delonixradar.com.au/western-australia/

be careful cause the engine light might be comming on due to knock which can turn out very bad if it happens too much.
