Guy's there is no need to get so worked up, as this is all the cop was trying to do. He knows he can not do what he said, if he beleives he can then his peeka is maller then a fishes, he said it to get a reaction which is exactly what he has now gotten. I am completely against hoon laws and since they were brought in i have had to deal with all the same shit as you guys and have had comments along the line of "with a car like this you should expect it" to which i reply "without prejudice, this is the reason no one will have respect for the police" things like this will piss them off more and you have done nothing wrong in saying it. You have rights so stand up for them and dont listen to silly comments like this from the police... you have 2 options say something back or walk away from them, you are allowed to walk away unless they want to hold you for a legal reason. Dont let them win by getting in your head... just do the same back... i do come on cruises and am more then happy to deal with police on these matters if they arise, as i have done so many times in the past, none of them my fault, i have a PERFECT driving record no fines in over 7 years

Yeah i am seriouos... i went in and made a formal complaint saying that i would be taking a officer to court and wasting their time and resources for wasting mine for 2 hours on a cold night for no reason and all they did was give me a yellow for nothing more then i was a young guy that stood up for myself.... my father helped me out and we proved their neglect for me and the officer had to give me a formal appology and also was suspended for a week(that may have been with pay not sure). The point is if they have done the wrong thing you can either complain and no one will listen or actually go in and speak to someone and believe it or not they will actually help cause the last thing they want is word getting out that the police are against people.. they have boss's as well that dont like complaints, think about if someone complained about you to your boss...

Mate just so you know what the police have done to you is actually discrimination and you have more then enough grounds to sue them personally out of their own pay... Also what was the reason thay gave for the car not being allowed to be driven home?? as they are not allowed to leave you or the car on the side of the road unless there is a danger present... they could see oil leaking for example?? If you dont want to be stickered then simply dont make the car illegal... sorry to say but i have never once had to pop my bonnet and neither has my brother and his is carbon fibre... if your car looks straight and is not excessively loud and your not doing the wrong thing you will not have a problem...

I will recommend doing all the crossmember bushes while your at it dont just replace the stuffed one the others will be on their way out... Also Brad should be able to confirm this, some of the bushes are oil filled for better ride quality while the susspension is stiffer, it was a Nissan thing, if you dont replace all the bushes make sure they match. Matt, you cant bad mouth another company like that either... it is fine if you personally have had the bad experience with them but you cant say they are bad and come see me... Dont be too fooled by the power rating on a clutch as they are testing it at extremes and rating it to a safe limit for hard use... warrenty crap! If your not doing high RPM launches or dropping the clutch on gear changes then i dont think you will need to over power the clutch... i am running over the reccomended limit on the stock clutch 300rwhp and never once had it slip and i have had that power for over 2 years now... and i am pretty hard on my car and launches... but if i took it on a track i bet it would heat up and be destroyed in one day. Decide how your going to drive and then decide on clutch dont just look at power as most will hold the power once engaged..

Which Pedders did you take it to cause i go to cannington and have never had an issue... also helps i get good prices Worse come to worse Nissan will be able to order the bush for you if you can tell them which one, you will just have to wait for it to come in from Japan. Just dont drive on it and make it worse as it will start to eat into your tyres and end up costing a lot more in the long run.

Get a susspensino check they dont cost much, something might be slightly loose or warn as simple as a rubber bush. Or worse might be a wheel bearing if you can see a vibration.

You say you got the pump 90% new... are you sure it is not buggered as i know that if they are used and out of the tank (ie not in fuel/lube) then the rubbers will dry up and i might guess that has happened and now not working....

Even my 53 yr old dad thinks hoon laws are crap and that no one cares anymore and the media just needs a new band wagon to get on... he is sick of hearing about it and sick of getting pulld over cause he drives a TRD and the cops decide he is a hoon until they notice he is in his 50's.

Yes if it has been registored before then there will have to be a complience unless they managed to get it under the 15 year rule that has since been changed... if that is the case then the car has been sitting a while and i would be more worried about dried up rubbers and stuff... just my 2 cents

The cop is full of crap like 95% of them are... so you fight a speeding fine in court and they say you have to pay it and now you can not get a job cause you have a speeding ticket... umm i dont think so.

By the sounds you have the box over the spare tyre which i think is a pain as you loose the full use of the boot. What size Subs do you have cause i have mounted mine up on the ledge in front of the traction control unit. I can still get my spare tyre even and have 95% of my boot still. Mine is secured to the parcel shelf with screws so will never move.

if you care that much about ecconomy get a Prius or get your foot off the gas and leave the car stock... dont buy boost for ecconomy you buy it for fun

It is not possible with out either cutting the shelf which is a no no... or cutting the grills and spacer which will look terrible... also make sure you can put your child restraints back or you might get yellowed and never pass the pits without them. I have done my stereo stealth and sounds sweet for very little $$.

simple just dont do what a mate of mine did and slam on the brakes while counter steering ends up badly on the side of the road upside down then back over I believe tyres to be the main factor in the wet as i have Apexi N1 Drift susspension on my car and i had a very bad time last year with cheap tyres and now i dont have any issues at all except on take off...changes to the car since is more power now due to ECU and Boost controller...

Guys i know i will be reemed for saying i think camera's are fine cause the money raised is actually spent on the road which we like to use, the problem with getting rid of them is our roads will then be paid for out of our taxes, which means they will have to go up cause they will not take the money for roads off schools or public health. i just want them to stop with the speed kills approach and say it is revenue raising and then actually use that money to make our roads more safe to actually drive on. I also agree that we need more marked cars to stop idiots in single peggers doing 180's in front of me at the lights so i have to get around him or slam into him.... that is the stuff a camera and lower speeds wont find and catch...

If he states it is ADR approved and it is not he is up for huge fines so i dont think it would state that unless it is. By the sounds of the stuff it remains clear which is different to see through, clear would be ADR approved. Clear as in no bubbles or lines to dillute or stray light beams.

This thread has made me see why people hate us in skylines... come on guys use common sense. If your at the front of the lights there will be oil in the wheel lines (road indented). try this: 1. move the car to the left or right of the lane to get off the oil. 2. park back a little from the lights so not to be right in it for your back tyres. 3. just nudge the car until the back wheels pass the white line and then give some gas. o and obvious one is get better tyres or a problem i see a lot get your camber fixed so your whole tyre has contact with the road.

i dont think you would blow the turbo off that small amount of spiking unless it was already on the way out.... i put my $$ on IC hose or even a problem i had, with a intake gasket getting a pin hole in it...

I think it depends exactly what the note said... if he said bluntly i hit your car then yes, but if he just gaves his details to say there was an accident then he can claim otherwise. If they are pricks then be one back i say. I had a situation where a women hit me and admitted to police to seeing me, my car, my passanger, and the time and place but said she did not hit the car even though there was damage, i had to take her to court to get it fixed, she then also had court costs
