  1. Thanks for that. Can help with translation if needed!
  2. I decided to go with a viva garage wide flare kit instead, over the s13 way.
  3. Where are they located?
  4. I'm waiting for my CP pistons to arrive, so a final close tolerance hone can be done to the 86.5mm re-bore. Waiting for the sump, fabricated with baffles and enlarged to be back. The other issue is the diff ratios, naturally front and rear all wheel drive have to match, but I may sell my short 4.35 gts4 diff ratios, and stay with Stagea diff ratios (4.08). I've had very nice rear flares from "viva garage" arrive. One of the reasons for this is, my car had a significant drivers side quarter panel dent from "paddock bashing". The plan now is to roll the front guards and flare the rear guards. My plan is not to gtr clone, but have some wide rear guards, to cover good rubber, but preserve the factory plastic type m bodykit. I'm trying to find a hks front grille, to go with the gtr bonnet. Still waiting on tons of ordered parts to arrive!
  5. Sorry that was 225/50/16 or 205/55/15 on my placard. I have 205/55/15 on the car atm. Are you going with 225 max width or wider or narrower? My goal is more than 280 all wheel kw, so I'm aiming for 235 width even if I have to roll or flare the guards. I'm planing to flare rear and roll front on my very narrow r32 gts4. Like you, I've been looking at stock r33 gtr, bbs, Simmons wheels, and aftermarket wheels. I want to sort the wheels, guard rolling or flaring prior to a repaint.
  6. Mine has a tyre placard showing the 225/60/16 as an option vs 15s, my 205/15s look tight already!
  7. My reading is that ATESSA requires same diameter front and rear, quite sensitive to staggered fitments.
  8. Nice work Chris! Looking at your wheel posts, what tyre foot print are you aiming for? My 205s look tight at the moment!
  9. What width tyres are you running?
  10. All wheel drive blocks are different. Bolt pattern to all wheel drive sump is different. So you have to source an awd replacement, or rebuild your own. If you get an awd replacement, it may well transplant whole, block and sump. make sure the diff ratios front and rear end up the same in awd! There is a lot of advocating for stock engines at the moment. I don't think rebuilding with forged pistons, (1k locally) and gtr rods, is overkill. There are usa order forged rods and pistons rb deals for 1k on line.
  11. After a passenger side rail. Car in Cardiff, but happy to stand aside if you can sell more of your package in one line.
  12. Well you could add all the mad fun forged bits porting and cams, just move your power and revs goal up!
  13. I don't believe any GTRs are going up. Perhaps some limited editions. My best guess is if you drive the GTS for a few more years (1-3) the R33 GTRs would have depreciated towards "easy money". Right now r32 GTRs with a "few problems" are in the teens. I think this is the R33 future. ( a guess). Perhaps you could stow away some premium RB 26 up grade bits away in the mean time when they come up.
  14. One of us could pick up RB 30 block from wrecker if he paid frieght.
  15. Despite the Advan gracers badging, to me a gts4 will never be a gtr, but you get a "blank canvas" car at much lower initial outlay. You could keep your R33 AND buy a gts4 to modify. If you want to finish with a single turbo or a dirty thirty, then the start point cost is much lower. The end point depends. With a GTR the start point is higher a R33 is newer than the R32 of course, has a proper crankshaft etc, but the spending obviously starts higher. To me a big consideration is legalities. As legalities get tougher, you can lift the bonnet on a high power close to stock looking GTR.....
  16. What are you doing for main bearings?
  17. Good decision, I'm just back from 400km of effortless quiet cruising.
  18. I have respect for the full house whole hog GTR. However a lot still boils down to whether the all wheel drive factor matters to you. You can easily have more power. As all unknown Skylines mean spending, have you thought of a R33 GTS4? Outlay for the starter vehicle is in the low teens or less. The Gracer show car was a GTS4.
  19. Knowing you Chris if you think the BBS are best, you'll track them down! I like the Simmons option, I tend to buy second hand and refurbish, the modular construction means you could "tailor them". This interests me for GTS4s.
  20. Any experience/comments, permaseal, ACL, vs Cometic etc?
  21. Greater thickness than 1.2-1.3mm is to drop compression. 1.5mm gaskets drop compression. Multilayer steel would go with your build. ACL seem reasonably priced, however in "Premium"gaskets there appears to be satisfaction with Cometic. Tomei and other gaskets seem pricey. If you've bored 20 thou convention is to use a 87mm gasket.
  22. Relative to the spending you've outlined an RB25 is cheap extra capacity, that gives better off boost, and earlier spool. It will make a better result, or the same result "more easily".
