  1. I think even if theres a 2010 Supra, it wouldnt be cheap either. Like the R35 GTR, pretty out of reach for majority of the people. How much were the Supras when they first release? I wouldnt imagine them to be very much cheaper than the same generation GTRs.
  2. Through a mate that import straight from Japan's distributor (all prices quote are in YEN). You're simple ditching a bigger middleman (e.g. RHD, Nengun etc, maybe paying 30-50% mark up?) and paying a smaller middleman going my way (maybe 10-20% markup?). If you're overly concern about warranty, just get them locally. Just gotta manage your risk and if you think its not worth it, pay that extra and get them locally. Obivously I think otherwise.
  3. Welcome to the forum! You'll find heaps of information in the V35 section.
  4. Bummer, gotta fly back to site that morning.
  5. Fulcrum quoted around 2.3k for them and I got them straight from Japan for 1450 delivery. And yes they have pillow top, full Super Street Kit.
  6. Welcome aboard. I'm sure you'll find heaps of information on how to mod the car the right way and maintaining it on the forum.
  7. +1. All that crap about being softer than Jap might be true but its negligible for the 1k saving. The Jap spec SS are even softer than my stock v-spec suspension when they're set to 1/2 the damper setting.
  8. Hmmm... yea from the looks of it. Even Federals doesnt make 285s. Maybe try calling some tyre shops. I'm running Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 285/30/18 and I think they're way too exp...
  9. KU36 is within that price range. I'd go 285/35 or 275/40. Just guesstimate. I dont think you'll need any guard work but it normal for drivers side to scrub when doing a full lock right turn unless you have adjustable rods.
  10. 285s. I'm running 285s on my 9.5 and they're bulging a lil. I reckon, 265 for 9.5, 275 for 10 and 285 for 10.5. Unless you're a fan of stretched tyres.
  11. I agree with the bit on aftermarket kit looks like shit. I reckon the only thing to do is to have a hellaflush fitment and that'll be "JDM" enough. But I dont understand how can people driving around daily in that kinda fitment though. The stock GTR looks good as it is but the offsets of LMGT4 doesnt seem flush with the guards. Mine's sitting a lil in the guard with +12 or +15 offset.
  12. Yea. I'm running 38psi "cold" (just driving from home to servo). I'm guessing it'll be around 40psi when hot?

    I Wonder Why...

I think your post is better suited for boostcruising. You'll probably find more of said "modded r32,33,34 and other jap car drivers" on that forum. PS: abit off topic. For 185k? I'll get that recently sold black R34 GTR M-Spec NUR with 2 NUR engines included in sale without a doubt and I still have change.
  14. Welcome and hope you're doing the skids at the right places.
  15. My apologies. They look the same to the untrained eyes.
  16. Lol... condom. Is it because of the rolled tip? I like the titanium finish though and also Kakimoto's got a very nice RB rumble sound to it too.
  17. Hahaha. Good to see that John.
  18. Yea I reckon the one on your rear wind screen's worth 10kW.
  19. Same with any other cars but rb26 is 1 of the best platform to start with other than 2JZ. You'll be spending easily twice for modding an EVO to the same power as the GTR too. And yes, black and mnp seems to be the premium colour for 34s. V-Spec II, M-Spec and the limited editions are holding their value pretty well.
  20. Search on the force induction section and you'll find the basic mods for stock GTRs. Personally I'm not overly impressed by the 33 GTR when I bought it (Maybe the stock N1 turbos are just laggy untuned) but tuning changed my impression. Having said that, the 34s might be different again. The car is a lot more responsive and pulls so much harder. And thats just with catback, ecu and ebc.
  21. Did I not say the easiest? You'll have to pull the wheels out to see that stamp whereas the sticker is visible without doing anything.
  22. Just gotta keep an eye for them. But yea, they're not very common and you'll find a lot of fibreglass copies.
  23. Shit... Sunday? Not Saturday? I'm only free on Sat.
  24. If so, count me in for sure! Whats in it anyway? Just watching race, show and shine etc?
