  1. Ahh ok, no worries. Yeah [sl33K GTS] was a mean car, it had some serious power
  2. Buy a Mercedes CLK - like me XD
  3. Did you buy your 32 off a guy named Ben? That's the only mate of his that i know of that has/had a 32. My brother also sold the [sL33K GTS] plates to his mate Ben.
  4. Hey mate, SL33K GTS was my brother's R33. He brought the car as a stocker in 2003 and then by early 2005 the car had all of the modifications complete. Off the top of my head the mods were: Garret GT35R externally gated Sard 800cc injectors XF Falcon throttle boddy GReddy copy intake plenum Genuine HKS Exhaust Manifold R32 GTR front mount intercooler Stock RB25DET internals Tomei Metal Head Gasket (compression ratio slightly raised) Standard R33 GTS-t diff Standard R33 GTS-t 5-speed manual box Custom 3.5" turbo-back exhaust with not cat/muffler (was very very very loud and popped the BIGGEST flames) GReddy Profec B-SpecII ebc A'Pexi Power FC Fully adjustable coilovers Starcorp Racing 5spoke chromies - 8.5"F, 9.5"R I'm sure there are a few things I missed but I'll try chase down the full list of mods/specs He sold the car in late 2005 early 2006 to a guy in Townsville. To my knowledge, the owner in Townsville has recently sold the car, however he kept the exactly the same as when he brought it (stickers and all), and the motor is still going 4 years later - standard internals with 466rwhp
  5. ROFLCOPTA!!!!!
  6. ahahaha i just realised my own epic fail bahahaha
  7. epic fail there dude
  8. Hey guys, Just wanting to know what level/gear/class/faction your characters are, what raids you're up to, what realm your on etc. I'll start it off - Name - Nismo Tauren Shaman, Level 65 (soon to be 80), has decent blue gear with an epic neck item from Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj 20man raid. Realm - Thaurissan PVP I'm more into the raiding than the PVP but it is fun ganking Ally So, what you guys got?
  9. If you are looking at upgrading the air filter, intercooler, exhaust system (take your cat out so you get flames , rims+tyres, suspension (coilovers) & sound system, you will probably be looking at a budget of $3000-$5000 all depending on what rims you go for. Generally speaking, the japs rims like SSR Professor's or Volk Racing Rims are always quite expensive but are always damn good quality!
  10. Comon guys stop giving the poor bloke a hard time, he just wants some advice and opinions, no need to get upset about it - that's what forums are for...
  11. Gazza thanks for correcting me - i mis-read it and assumed it was a manual transmission. Yes the automatic gearbox has a dipstick tube to fill the gearbox oil - similar to how the engine has a dipstick to check the engine oil. I am not sure of the oil that needs to be used for the automatic gearbox......
  12. The re-fill plug for both the diff and g/box should be on either the left or right hand side of each - should be a round plug with a square in-dent. To fill them up, just take the plugs out and fill it till it starts to overflow, thats when it's full
  13. coil over suspension that allows you to adjust the ride height, how hard/soft it is etc is allowed.
  14. You can still pay for registration etc at Inspection Centres.....
  15. Pics or video please
  16. Ok no worries, cheers for your help
  17. I recommended Psyrus from SAUWA to take his R33 to Mr. Auto on Donovan Street in Osborne Park - which he did. He was very impressed with the service. Mr. Auto isn't the cheapest in town, but he won't fark you round at all. I've known him for quite a while know, top bloke, runs his business in an excellent manner, always happy customers & great customer service. If you want, give him a call. Phone number will be under Mr. Auto - name is Joe.
  18. Ok, looks like ill be doing that on Saturday then
  19. I got my intake manifold gasket from Giant Nissan in Osborne Park. It would expensive - $100......
  20. So to chage the wheel studs, you obviously have to remove the brake caliper and disc....what exactly did you do to get the studs out? I need to replace two on my front right wheel this weekend....
  21. My brothers R33 GTS-t was making 466rwhp on standard internals back in 2004-2005 when R33's were nto very common at all. Plates were [sL33K GTS], some of you may know him/the car. That motor withstood sooo much punishment and never showed any signs of stress/trouble ever.
  22. As far as I know, yes only the pit inspectors can say that you need to have an IM240 test done. But you all know what the cops are like..... Relax mate, and yes i have read the criteria on the Dept. of Transport website. However even though there is the criteria to abide by, it doesn't mean that the pit inspectors will follow it - refer to my previous post about the guy with the stock-standard XR6-Turbo....let me repeat STOCK-STANDARD. You all know, you might get lucky with your "lightly modified" skyline over the pits or you might be unlucky, but at the end of the day, we all know it's ultimately up to the inspector you get...
  23. I spoke to one of the inspectors at Welshpool Technical Section today and have been advised that only cars that are modified (i.e. aftermarket exhaust/FMIC/intake/cams/ECU/etc) will require to have the IM240 Emissions Test conducted. I spoke to a customer who owns a stock-standard XR6-Turbo and has to go do the test, however I managed to get him out of doing the test due to his car being factory specifications. So basically, if your car is stock-standard, you will not have to go and do the emissions test.... Also, not all modified cars need to have the IM240 Emission Test conducted as of yet - my car passed pits 2months ago and has a turbo-back exhaust, FMIC, etc. However, I believe that as time passes, it will be mandatory for all modified cars that go over the pits to have this emissions test conducted. As more and more cars go for the test, the testing will become cheaper - I still feel sorry for you guys....it's bloody expensive and from my point of view, just a load of wank.
  24. Wow you can do 120km/h while doing 60km/h?! That's impressive! But no, sorry, i havn't the slightest idea how to fix it
  25. I must admit those cops on saturday night were so rude..... And one of the coppers was saying that the BOV is illegal and i was like "umm no its not, that is a factory item" (he didnt know it was atmo). Funny thing was, his mum was driving and we were like WTF....and these cops legitimately had NO mechanical knowledge.....
