Hey folks. My wifes 32 GTR has been retrofitted for the new gas and all, but the climate control module isn't working properly. I Need to know if any one has access to a good one from a front cut or anything like that. Everything works it's just that the module isn't telling things to turn on so it aint cooling.

had one on my skyline and I know of another couple using them and a Turbo FTO. All is fine with the malpassi reg's.

No it's not, it came imported with it. I am not sure what brand it is, it is still very solid so i guess I won't be finding out any time soon either.

I here walbro's are very good as well. I know of some people using them and they have no drama's, there isn't as much altering as you might think required to put in a 044 either and they are good for the 600hp as well.

The shape is similar but everything looks updated, seat's, materials, stuff has straighter lines just like the body does.

i had a 2500lb jim berry in my 33 gts-t and it lasted a while under some pretty harsh punishment. I have an extreme clutch (I think, which ever one's Kaos racing supplies) 3000lb pressure plate in my 33 GTR V-spec and it seems better than the jim berry one was to drive around in, it's not so on and off. as for the twin plates my wifes got one in her 32 GTR and it is pretty nice to drive with, gives a real strong feel but it's not real bitey and doesn't seem to fade if your giving it a few heavy starts. The only thing I could say rick is that your spreading that power over more surface area so it will last longer, that's my guess anyway, any other idea's peoples?

Yeah I'm the hubby. Kinda missing driving my GTR, better get my bum into gear and finish her front bar.

It seems that the split second of speed at the wrong time has become very costly. May the shocking wreckage of the Beautiful car and the memory of these three people be in the back of ours minds whenever we go to "give that little bit extra". Who knows what will happen, maybe nothing but one time maybe something much like this. Respect yourselves and those around you. RIP.

use some Co-Contact cleaner. I was thinking of the same idea about the silcone coating but never did it. My gts-t and GTR did it but just spray them off with the co-contect cleaner and maybe use a soft cloth that should stop the tracking should stop the coil shorting to earth.

Don't worry about it folks i have removed all the dodgey paint and filler of to reveal a good condition front bar, no just to sand it back smoother. If your a moderater you can delete this message if you want. Cheers

A sticker pack from Autobarn with all the Brands on it. A bad girls sticker. A fully sick stereo. Some crappy glitter paint. No really Powerfc Steel turbines (Next week) Dump pipes (When astro boy finishes them) Custom Manifolds (ditto) A new air regulator so it doesn't idle high.

Injector and fuel pump options 4 GTR
awurth replied to KBNR32's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
your not going to be able to do anything unless you either change the computer or somehoiw re-map the mines one. injector duty cycles with those massive injectors will be pouring fuel in. -
D.i.y Compliance
awurth replied to DAN00H's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
What about the Aircon? The oil needs to be replaced in the compressor cause it is Vegetable base i am led to beleive and will react with the OZ type aircon Gas which needs a mineral based oil. Also then the Drier needs to be done as well. My wife just got a 15Yr GTR and that is the only thing to do apart from the paint work. -
I rang up shannon's for insurance after reading the write up in the Zoom Mag, VERY VERY Good qoute to insure my 33 GTR V-spec and 32 GTR, I'm 25 but it's going to cost me $1700 to do both. Definately give them a call. This is the proper number 1300 139 006

Currently spraying my wifes 32 GTR and the paint work on the front bar and lip is going to be a real hassel to fix up. Anyone got these things in a good condition. I am near Mackay QLD

Help me! Getting bored of my Skyline
awurth replied to Scotty's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Get a mate to take you for a drive in his comodore and then get back in your skyline! then you'll appreciate it! Get the body fixed and raise it. then you'll be able to drive no probs. -
To bear the brunt of some people on SAU in the words of henry rollins "the only good cop is a dead cop". I've had the usual speeding fines even a debatable red light fine. But I got done for undue noise in my line, got hasseled by a guy and a bitchy lady cop about it. Guy ended up being ok about it but still "HAD" to book me for something. I wrote a letter to the officer in charge brought up a heap of stuff about how the coppers weren't wearing reflective vests like you have to be working on a roadway, how I could see them from where they reckon I did a burnout, how the cop felt my tires and they weren't hot. 3 years later and I haven't been to court or anything.

Anyone know how to remove the rear quarter glass on a 32??? I have removed all the trimmings from around the door area and it just seems that only a rubber seal is holding it in? is there a special way to get it out? I don't want to go forcing things and possibly break it. Cheers if you can help

I don't think That figure of 400nm is right. The Honda VTR1000S SP2 is 99Kw/102NM, and that is a simple 1 liter production engine. There is no way a multi million dollar motor is only going to put out around 400NM. But in saying that I don't know what they put out. I also heard on RPM that teams are going to run a breakaway series in 2006 (Date?).

The Line blew the ignition fuse, dodgey wiring for the boot solenoid on my behalf, anyway I used the 4WD fuse to replace it till i got another one. The next morning I went through a round about and the back kicked out and I heard that strange sound of wheels squeeling, generally only heard on a rev limiter start. Anyways at the next set of lights heart thumping looking for cops making sure I wouldn't get caught the line easily squeeled first and second through the intersection (don't bother reply with any responsible driver you shouldn't be doing that crap, 99.9% of the time I am). That was the end of my experimenting and the fuse is replaced. Anyways I always thought your couldn't simply interupt the circuit to turn a 33 GTR into 2WD only, but it seems you can. Someone did mention that doing so may wear the clutch plates in the transfer case as in 33 they are always slightly engaged as opposed to a 32 where they aren't. Anyone know anything else??????

Yeah ABS will kick in and it scares the crap out of you if youv'e never felt it before. You feel the pedal pulse and it gives off a disconcerting Knocking noise. I've only hit it so hard that ABS has worked twice, once in the rain and later to feel it again in the dry, how often are you hitting it????

My Misses has just got a 32 GTR which is mostly Calsonic Blue (grey undercoat and black are the other colours). Just been going through colours to do it, Ford's Blueprint blue, bayside blue, Midnight Purple or a custom black with a green pearl are idea's but wondering if anyone has the colour code for Calsonic blue if it's a proper colour or if they have the formula if they've had it made up. Is this colour also know as Champion blue (colour Code BT2) Cheers

whatever the guy with the dyno set's it at. My mate had a toyota surf with front mount and some more boost and you have to increase the fuel with the boost otherwise a lean or rich mixture will screw your engine (both give extremely hot exhaust gases). So i guess what fuel your car supplies is what boost you can run. That's my understanding anyway.

Rev cut? 6000 RPM in 4th gear on GTR?
awurth replied to underground's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
As far as know (with 33's anyway because that's the only cars I've done it with) you can simply cut the wire. the wire is only really needed for idle map control on the Auto's (ie, if you let the car idle down while still rolling along the road the computer knows this)
