  1. Sam! Read back, ya lazy punk!
  2. There yo go, Ian! For all those who have not yet entered, please note:
  3. I'll check with him, Matt, but I don't think he received it...
  4. LOL, sorry Joe. Me and mornings don't mix.
  5. I've been experimenting with my new f/2.8 100mm Macro lens, a makeshift and very simple "studio" and tethered shooting over the past few days, here's what I've come up with. Not all shots are with the Macro lens, though. I think I'll need another Macro with a shorter focal length for some of these style shots in the future. And a few of my limited edition DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist "The Hard Sell Tour Juke-Bot..."
  6. Nice one, Andy! Looking forward to seeing you there too.
  7. For those who just want to rock up and park with not much else setting up to do, then anytime after 8am is fine. If you have a more involved set-up (probably like Jetreck, with two cars and whatever else) then arrive at 7.30. There'll probably be quite a few of us organisers (by quite a few, that probably excludes me unless I get a REALLY good night's sleep beforehand) there from around 6am anyway. The show officially kicks off at 10am, so we need everyone to be, at the very least, in and parked before that time.
  8. I'll be there from pretty early, despite the fact that I'm far from a morning person. *Approach with caution* LOL
  9. Rays CE28N in bronze or titanium silver. CE28N: OR Rays RE30 in any of the three colours available - bronze, chrome silver or (for another 5000Yen - ouch) formula silver with a diamont-cut rim.
  10. I spotted Smoky at 2.30pm today in Toongabbie, driving something that, should you refer to it as a lunchbox, would be giving it HEAPS of credit!!! (Sorry dude! )
  11. I spotted a white C34 (I *think* it was an s2) heading North (towards Hornsby) on Pennant Hills Road around Thornleigh at around 12.15am tonight. I was in my dark green s1 heading the other way, on the way home from the usual Thursday ritual of heading up to the Central Coast.
  12. Broken studs are fairly common on RB engines, Josh, especially where the exhaust manifold bolts onto the head. Seeing as the turbo end is more prone to a lot of heat cycling (extremely high temps when driven, then generally low temps when at idle or not being driven), then I'm not surprised that a few studs were broken there too. I've known about two broken studs on my exhaust manifold for quite some time (mine are at the usual spots at each end of the head, near cylinders 1 and 6), but I haven't done anything about them yet.
  13. Are you sure it's not the idle speed dropping too low when the car is under load? Strange that you only started noticing it after a wheel alignment, because it shouldn't have anything to do with that. But maybe you're right, and maybe because something has been left loose in the suspension, it's become more noticeable.
  14. That last shot is the best one, I reckon Shell!
  15. Stan, if everyone enters via Smithfield Road, then the whole area is nice and smooth, with just a few mild speed humps to get accross.
  16. As Sam said, we may leave this open until right up to the date, and if you're paying cash on the day, that's fine (unless, of course, we've filled up by then). But if you are making an EFT or Cheque payment, you NEED to make sure it is in by close of business NEXT Tuesday (the 8th of December) so we can vaildate that the money is in the SAU account. Sometimes, depending on the bank, it can take up to 3 days for a transaction to show into an account, so we have to make allowances for this.
  17. Hahaha, buy Evo-Mitchy's car mate - you KNOW you want to!
  18. LOL, see what happens when you don't visit us here enough, Cy??? You miss out on all the awesome Stagea-related news. And what happened to the Hyundai TRAGEDY Trajet?
  19. Entry is from approximately 8am, and the show kicks off at 10am - it's a pretty big area, so it's going to take some time to get everyone organised...
  20. I spotted a black V35 350GT with black wheels today parked out the front of Subway, on the corner of Powers and Station Roads in Seven Hills. Stupid me, didn't bother to get the rego plates to post them up here...
  21. Corey, your entry form and membership forms are NOT with me (I've got the very first batch of entries that came in only, plus 3 extra that were handed to me personally in the past few weeks), but your money is in the SAU account, so that side is taken care of. I'm assuming that the membership stuff has been forwarded to Shell by Duncan, but Duncan is crazy-busy at the moment You can re-fax the entry form if you wish, but seeing as we know and keep a log of your forum name, you can rest assured you're entered for the day.
  22. I though it was a bit shaky in some parts, but the concept is great! If it's your first attempt (or something you don't try very often), then good work!!! I haven't held a video camera in a LONG time, and realised how shaky I was a few weeks back when I was asked to record some laps of a few people at Wakefield Park while I was standing on the sidelines.
  23. Updated with SAU-NSW Texikhana details for 2010!
  24. Bring it on, peoples! Less than 3 weeks to go, and not NEARLY enough Stageas entered!
  25. Hahaha, I believe the calipers are the same, anyway... That's what I was referring to, my bad.
