  1. Hahaha, ShengBert the Asian Hamster!
  2. I spotted a darkish-grey Audi R8 on my way into Parra this arvo. The LEDs it uses for the DRLs are damned bright, even in broad daylight! I tell you what, the thing pulls looks from left, right and centre. As I drove through the main strip of Church Street with it driving directly behind me, about 80% of the people around turned to look and stare at it. Hot looking car, but I think the grey took some of the appeal away for me. It might have been dirty, but the colour looked dull for such a nice looking car.
  3. Pretty rare, just like this - two completely different areas!
  4. And you'll probably STILL be able to get home on the same tank of fuel you drove there in on, even if it was down to a quarter...
  5. Series 1 & 2 versions of the C34 should be identical, so no issues with fitting...
  6. Hybrid as is HDI? Nope, but they're just down the road, on the next block...
  7. I *think* Motorsport Connections does them, and they're just off Abbott Rd in Seven Hills, right behind the Caltex/Hungry Jacks complex.
  8. Spotted Anna's black 33 GTSt in her driveway earlier tonight.
  9. Have a look if there is a thread or grooves in the strut body, mate. Also, my SK suspension kit is sorted, and I love it! Thanks Gary, you're a star!!!
  10. No, your age has nothing to do with it, that's true. What Grant is pointing out is pretty true, though - it would take your eyes longer to focus on gauges that are a lot closer to you, and then re-focus on the road ahead of you than if they were in line or near your standard instruments. Plus, the a-pillar is pretty thick as it is already - an unfortunate side-effect of almost all new cars having to have stronger roll-over protection for its driver and occupants. The Mearcat gauge pods are good quality, they DO come pretty close to the factory dash colour (nobody realises mine's not a factory part), and the "Mearcat" logo is pretty small and hardly noticable unless you REALLY look from outside. I think if you still want to go with it, then Bobby's offer is probably the best bet. I don't recall ever seeing a factory or aftermarket gauge pod for the Stagea, and finding one from another car to suit could take a long time, Nissan or not...
  11. I think Paul (aka performance_wise or something similar) has them for sale. He owns an s1, so will know what fits.
  12. Can I have naming rights? "The Galloping Gazelle?"
  13. I'm with Tangles on this one - the Mearcat gauge pods are great! You've gotta be careful of the A-pillar pod mounts, some cops will still defect you for them, which will be a PITA to sort out and clear.
  14. Good to hear it's up and running again, mate!
  15. WooHoo - green light to Teh Stagea! Once again, Brad, good on you for the effort you've put into this!
  16. Thanks for another awesome cruise, Mars. And thanks also to all for behaving on the roads! Loof (and Kerry), gotta catch up soon-ish and get together for a feed or something.
  17. Oh, also spotted the same Gemballa-spec'd Porsche Cayenne twice on Thursday arvo - once parked in Seven Hills, and then about three hours later on in Liverpool on the Hume Highway heading towards Casula.
  18. Spotted an Audi R8 going the other way to us tonight on the Pizza Cruise.
  19. Happy Birthday, Shell!!!!! I'm betting it's "Trouble," right?
  20. Hungry Jacks/Caltex @ Seven Hills, 7.30pm
  21. Spotted another V35 350GT today, it was a red one with "Top Secret Imports" shop stickers on it. It was heading through Liverpool on the Hume Highway towards Casula this arvo around 5.15pm.
  22. Spotted a black V35 350GT out the front of a wrecker's in Powers Rd, Seven Hills, and also a black R33 GTSt with white vinyl decals turning right from Wentworth Avenue onto Fitzwilliam Rd in Toongabbie this arvo.
  23. There's two things I have to say, but this is just my opinion: 1. Political correctness is stuffing society up - it's like everyone has to be super-careful about what they do and say, just because someone *might* get offended. 2. By the same token, you SHOULD consider your environment when you choose to do/say something or act a certain way. Even ignoring that whole "Political Correctness" thing, it's not hard to cause insult or injury simply through a badly-judged choice of words. In saying that, I always try and remember two things, and live by them: 1. It's not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it; and 2. If you GIVE respect, then (99% of the time) you'll GET respect.
