  1. Yep, you ALL need to come down to the SAU-NSW Show and Shine in June... I need some other people to help me "reprezent the Stagea Massive, y0!"
  2. 4) You might want to see if Stan and Wil have photos and footage that they're willing to give up as well. 5) I think the banner is with Duncan. I have a fair few business cards, but maybe we should request another batch be printed. Who knows how many we'll give away on the days of AutoSalon, and if we don't use them all we can spread them out between ourselves to hand out to people here and there and everywhere. 7) People, if you order and pay for your shirts over the net, please send me a PM with the details so we can organise to get them to you beforehand.
  3. Nice car, Bryce. Those wheels will really set it off. As far as the different sized wheels goes, just make sure that the rolling diameters of the wheels on the front are the same (or as close as possible) as the back ones. The different rolling diameters is what stuffs up the ATTESA system and burns out clutches, etc.
  4. I have the new SAU shirts and will bring them along. See the merchandise thread for more info (there's a link in my signature, and new photos are up)...
  5. Some of these ideas are great, but not really economically viable... Stuff like the sunnies, boxer shorts, ciggie holders, clocks, belt buckles and car badges would be great, but the set-up fees would be a killer. Items like the backpacks, banners, beach towels, umbrellas, beanies, pens, and CD holders would be easier to get done, but, as pointed out below, we need to know that they'll sell. Tim, if you can find enough people for a group buy of the race suits, I'm more than happy to get them embroidered as part of a batch of the usual SAU shirts/jackets.
  6. Sounds like what my car is running - just an 18" long resonator before the final cannon muffler. Loud as hell, and heaps of popping on over-run with the standard ECU. It does have that distinctive RB growl, though!
  7. Dude, it would be preferable to just add what you know to the existing threads on manual conversions - it saves people skipping between threads to get the information they need, and reduces the number of threads on the same topic appearing (and then disappearing) on the forums.
  8. I was followed in my Stagea by an XR Falcon today East-bound on the M4 from between Cumberland Highway up until the toll-gates. I sat on an indicated 90 all the way, and seeing as my speedo is optimistic, I knew I was pretty safe. I was sitting on around 95-100 a bit before I noticed him, and saw him flash his headlights behind me, which is what made me assume that it was a cop. I'm not sure if they were flashing at me or someone else, but I asked my passenger to check for the hidden lights, and he said that he could see them. It's strange that even though I was passed by a newish Honda Accord which was doing at least 100km/h, that he still chose to follow me... This cop either knew his cars or knew that my car is somewhat unusual, because apart from the loud exhaust, my car looks (and is) standard.
  9. That would take all the fun (or frustration?) away from the whole experience, Yudi. Also, Brendan (beastien), Grant (yokota13) and Leshy (Terminal) all own series 1 Stageas, which weren't available as RB25DET manuals... I'm lucky, I bought mine already converted.
  10. Once this cruise has come and gone, you should ALL come to Sydney for our Show 'n' Shine in mid-June... Puuuuhhhhhlllllleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeeee??????????
  11. My sister says she saw two today, one was Wolverine's (she sees that car on a regular basis now as she works near his house) and a maroon one, possibly the same one you saw Andy, and maybe the same one that I saw a few times about a year ago...
  12. Doooooooooooooooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttt..........
  13. Hey all, the SAU-NSW crew are in the process of organising our next Show 'n' Shine. When: The proposed date is Sunday, June 17, from approximately 8am until 3pm. Where: The venue is Granville Park, on Woodville Road in Merrylands (on the corner of Merrylands Road, where there is a McDonald's, so you can't miss it). I believe we'll be using the area directly South of the McDonald's, so entry *should* be via Merrylands Road. Who: YOU! While there will be prizes given out on the day, the focus here is on PARTICIPATION! More information coming soon...
  14. http://www.autech.co.jp/HISTORY-SV/WC34S00/index.htm And look what they have too:
  15. Could have been a car owned in an area with lots of snow, and therefore exposed to a lot of the salt they put on the roads to get rid of black ice, etc.
  16. Is Ed giving us the bird out of his driver's side window in Wayne's first shot?
  17. *goes looking for the camera manual to see if I can d/load the Burst-mode multi-shots as separate .jpgs* Thanks guys! I'll see what I can do.
  18. Hahahaha, Albert - that's why I put the Disclaimer at the end! I wouldn't want to get you into trouble (or fired) for the cost of a few drinks. Central Hotel's details: 35-51 Main Street (corner of Flushcombe Rd), Blacktown. Ph: 8814-9200 Link: http://www.central-hotel.com.au/
  19. I missed out too James, but... ...yes, yes you were - I could tell from our quick phone conversation. Dammit I wish I could have come along, though.
  20. Thanks Darrin. Seems the V-Spec II wheels are an inch wider then, although otherwise of almost exactly the same design.
  21. Ummmm, I think I figured that part out...
  22. Are the wheels that came on the R32 V-Spec II the same as those that came out on the 260RS??? They both have the same diameter, width and design, and are both by BBS. http://justjap.com/parts_uwheels.htm
  23. I gotta say, Stephen, Ed and Chris really got their money's worth, didn't they? Was good to see the standards you all reached towards the end of the day (I left a bit before 4pm). My photos suck, but for future reference, does anyone know how to take a 16-image shot (in Burst mode) and download it onto my PC as individual photos so I can create a GIF animation file? d00dz? Maybe I should have just shot them in video mode. Oh well...
  24. PJ's at Parra is good too, I've been a few times. But why not try somewhere new! The reason why we're dicing it up, Tosh, is because some people can't make Thursday night dinners, so the aim is to have one month on a Thursday, the next month on a Saturday, etc. (unless the majority votes against that month's planned night).
