  1. Here are some better pics of aforementioned parts, above board
  2. Hey SAU! I'm looking to sell my almost totally stock and mostly loved but sometimes neglected 1989 R32 GTR. Haven't had the need for it for a while now, literally done <500km in 2018 as work is next door to home and so is Coles I'm looking for $30k but negotiable. No swaps. Car is currently in NSW, registered in VIC (exp oct/18). Currently will be sold without RWC, hence negotiable price. PM if interested, no test drives, better photos to come. General details: Bought Feb 2011, had 85kkm on it 110kkm now, was a daily for 3yrs, not used so much the last 4 hence relatively low ~4kkm/yr Timing/water etc standard stuff done for the 100k service at 96kkm. Bosch alternator with custom loom done then too, as well as all the main oil/water piping (blue in the pictures) Literally only mods are pods, 4" exhaust, fuel pump (not sure what, not going to open up and see but it sounds Bosch definitely not stock), thermo fan not that that counts Inverted U-shaped crack about the size of tissue box passenger side window at the bottom left, not a RWC issue AFAIK Scrape/dent from tiny Sydney carparks just forward of back left wheel-well, pizza box sized, quote was about $700 to fix and paint (pics to come) Overall paint about a 2/5, few peelings around the place, and generally the last re-paint seems to have been not the best as some bubbles Some pictures as it was 4yrs ago (the 2 dirty ones prior to a clean after a road trip), newer pictures to come. Cheers guys!
  3. Happy new years! So I'm looking to sell my mostly loved but sometimes neglected 1989 R32 GTR. Just had it serviced and a full mechanics report done, nothing major and nothing outside of all the normal problems, oil leaks so on. Recently I saw a similar condition car go for what was listed at 23k but not sure, its since gone. But would assume it went for >20k. Anyway. Looking for advice on the best way to sell it, not just for the most money for me, but to the benefit of SAU and the Skyline community who will treasure such a car. Or to not and where to go from here General details: Bought April? 2011, had 84kkm on it IIRC 109kkm now, was a daily for 3yrs, not used so much the last 4 hence relatively low ~4kkm/yr Timing/water etc standard stuff done for the 100k service at about 96k IIRC. Bosch alternator with custom loom done then too, as well as all the main oil/water piping (blue in the pictures) Literal only mods are pods, 4" exhaust, fuel pump (not sure what, not going to open up and see but it sounds Bosch definitely not stock), thermo fan not that that counts Inverted U-shaped crack about the size of tissue box passenger side window at the bottom left, not a RWC issue AFAIK Scrape/dent from stupid tiny Sydney carparks just forward of back left wheel-well, pizza box sized, quote was about $700 to fix and paint Overall paint about a 1, few peelings around the place, and generally the last re-paint seems to have been not the best as some bubbles Some pictures as it was 4yrs ago (the 2 dirty ones prior to a clean after a road trip), newer pictures to come but really looking for an experienced member in Sydney (north shore, St Leonards to be exact) to come have a look and advise. Willing to pay for the time for a physical, otherwise starting at least with some onlines advices Cheers guys!
  4. Sorry but what was it missing? Engine and box, what does that mean? Just the engine, or engine turbos manifolds etc etc?
  5. Still have the rims, or more to the point, anything that would fit R32 GTR with 255/ 40 -17 tyres? After one for a spare is all, can be crap for all i care
  6. Yea man SAUers being tight asses at the moment I'm going to list for 14k as well, lets see who sells first
  7. Very nice car, what is the engine condition? rebuild etc/.....
  8. Tyreplus sorry, on bond st just down from barry bangay. or maybe he did mean tyrepower in croydon, but he said it was close. i'll ask again Ash thanks for the suggestion although this place (barry) the head guy knows GTRs, and he said the printouts for the align match what he knows. I might ask for the specifics to post on here to compare, although obviously a 32 is different to a 33, plus all the other stuff you've done to your car Would the fact my tyres are a starting to get low make a difference?
  9. Standard GTR wheel from what I can tell. It is possible some sensor is broken or stuck, as for diagnostics I don't think they checked that thoroughly as the loose camber nut was found. But yea I might ask them to do that, I'm sure they have the tools.
  10. Nicely done on the car sale, I think I saw this the other day near Malvern or similar, it had just turned the corner and it sounded a beast!
  11. Would you be interested in having a drive to see what you thought, and potentially mine in yours? Cos the mechanics are definitely scratching their heads a bit
  12. Yea its definitely still a problem, sometimes the wheel is perfectly still, yet the car feels like a puck on an air-board and just gliding along with my not having any say. Last night going along at only 70kmh the car definitely wanted to go right, I had to seriously turn left and then back to center to get it right
  13. I'm not sure I will check but they aren't low profile. 265R19 I do believe. I'm starting to think its gotta be something in the suspension and steering rather than the wheels because sometimes when I break (sometimes heavilyish) the car will pull to the left/right and the steering wheel will actually turn a fair amount as well if I let it.. perhaps?
  14. Tyrepower ringwood seems to be the place to go, long history of perfect aligning. Makes sense, lower overheads from a smaller shop and less professionalism (cough bobjane massive wastes of space). Will be dropping it off tomorrow so will see what they find.
