  2. Is that the gibson R31? I think that runs a T04R lol
  3. Sorry to disappoint, said my peace. That dirty30 looks freaking insane though... Wish I owned that!
  4. ohhhh snap.... if only my car wasnt with Jez getting tuned.... This is definitely a 'DO WANT' moment
  5. I stick to my statement. Your always hanging around waiting and encouraging somebody else to try before YOU buy, I straight out don't appreciate that. There's a difference in attitude between quietly keeping an eye on someones build and purposefully encouraging them to hurry so you can see how it turns out for you own benefit. You have some audacity to talk about other members of this forum. You can call me childish or whatever else you want, fact is I am an asshole and always tell it how it is. I'm not afraid to hear one more goof call me an asshole or a child or whatever else you would like to say, go nuts. Fact is you and I watch the same threads, Ive probably inadvertently read 90% of your total posts, and I can safely say you have a crappy attitude towards this forum and the help you get from its members. End of story.
  6. Either way, like I said - if all the other variables are in check the boost figure is far from the most important thing. Variables such as; what turbo, what fuel......... etc.
  7. LOL circumstances change, i still wish i could have finished that car but it wasnt meant to be.. After all those convos about how to fix your rubbish turbo problem, I had no choice but to boycott you in! you know I even bought that while I was in indonesia? just to make sure I knew you got it too HAHA!! otherwise I would have hit the buy it now when i got back to my own country LOL
  8. up the pipe size man.. you dont want to do the job a 3rd or 4th time do you?
  9. tried and proven, well priced too
  10. put your money where your mouth is and beat him to it! I dont imagine you to have any real friends, all I see you do is hang around like an opportunistic vulture and wait for somebody to fall in your honour when I first started blabbering about this 20g stuff, do you know what the first thing I did was? I bought a 20g. You can ask ARTZ, we bit the bullet about the same time and had plenty of colourful convo's about it. Jez now has my 20g, another member has my 33 and another has my 1JZ. I wish I could be your scape goat on this one, but not everything pans out as you expect. How about you put a 20g on a 1JZ for me? I would love to know how it turns out. Thanks.
  11. you should be able to hit 9 or 10psi, make 180kw (with TBE FMIC + fuel pump) and be reasonably safe the stock turbo is very delicate and you should reconsider bothering... FYI Mick_o is tuning is car to 25psi+ this week, SimonR32 also runs 26psi - both on OEM RB25DET sump/rocker. Mick has GTX71 + E85, simon has T67 + E42.5. Long story short im sure boost pressure is not that important given all the other (read many) variables are in check.
  12. Thanks mate! Also hoping to see closer to 500 than i am 400 out of yours I'm confident if he leans on it!
  13. I like what youve done there mate very good work! with the bung go to a bolt shop and get an allen key grub screw for it, use some fuel resistant plumbers tape and your laughing!
  14. LOL so freaking awesome! All the best shit is coming together this week
  15. I will have mobile withdrawals come the end of the day. Waiting for your results......... And mine!! Jez has my car too
  16. thanks for clearing that up lith, I mustnt have read it right - didnt pick up on the diverson agree not totally confidence inspiring in terms of tuning.
  17. there still seems to be a crucial element missed.... its been asked but nobody has answered. if its a 6boost TS manifold..... into a TS turbo........ shutting off one of the scrolls even to only 45% is more of less shuttung off 3 whole cylinders to that extent. It wont simply close that side and magically redirect the gas elsewhere.... Or is there something Im missing?
  18. Hey guys, Changed the setup on my car and thus have the following for sale: Microtech LT8S sequential fire ECU, comes with a complete used harness and its specific plug in o2 sensor. Inbuilt 20psi map sensor and the USB dongle for laptop connection. $500 As pictured: Autometer sport comp 52mm gauges with senders and a din bracket. It bolts to the radio bracket and fits flush in any nissan (as per my testing). 1 x boost psi, 1 x oil psi, 1 x water temp. $250 As pictured:
  19. Now lets see them do a billet 16g and whack it on a TD05H rear end. I find it strange now that we had always discussed the TD05H and 20g being a mismatch, but FP are using TD05H rears with their HTA compressors which are meant to outflow the 20g - thoughts? I am considering buying an FP Green with the 44mm WG outlet on the evo 3 style exhaust housing. Then order an SR-MHI 6boob and go spastic
  20. LOL Sorry mate, was distracted by the tennis.. Two different topics. One guy posted he heard the 3 bolt housings work better, to which I agree that I have read 30% better. Then Simon showed a billet 25G wheel which also states 30% more flow..... Which my hypergear related comment was aimed at. Sorry to have been confusing and probably posting too often, let me know if that clears it up.
  21. Its just that the number is relative. One thing I know about those housings is that it puts a cap on the turbo which more or less makes it work like a good XXXkw turbo should. So in your case, it does a good job of 250kw whereas a .82 3076 would do a very mediocre job of 250kw. I think the only thing that is holding your setup back is your boost, which is why I made the comment I did. Auto is OK, your general setup is OK, S15 injectors are OK, no issues - nothing to blame (IMHO).. Run more boost and you will have it try to make more power, but I'll bet that it will start to choke pretty quick. From memory we theorized a lot with ARTZ about his one, his is the 7 blade 76 with a similar rear to urs I believe. If I knew which thread it was in I would link you. It helped him move off the dirty thin and onto a good thing! lol
  22. I dont think it will be any worse, potentially better but your talking about a lot of supporting mod....................... Im sure for them to say 30% more flow that is what it did per RPM on a test bench. Real world application is what could differ. Stao has already done this, while the compressor could flow more I dont think he could easily access it without other revisions... 200 page read to find out too lol
  23. neat! if only it was cheaper... would go on my SR quite stealthily
  24. No that is not the same. That is a TD06H................. T67 = TD06SL2 (or just look for one that says T67) The T67 item we all like also has a v-band rear not 4 bolt, v-band is nicer However... This is what your looking for: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-4-TD06SL2-25G-T3-V-Band-450P-/290659971402?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43acaf314a
