Late Call. Spotted White S2 Stagea with damage to passenger front bumper Tuesday morning (7:30am 19th) GoldCoast. I tried to honk the horn... but the crap MU I was driving didn't work. I was in a Black MU towing my Opel Kadett rally car.

I would love to be in but I may be still away. I will be down south all that week dynoing the new engine in the race car... if all goes well I maybe be back in time to join in.

I rang Max in ACT and spoke to him about his towbars. He has a jig and is happy to build and transport a 2000kg towbar to anywhere. The price is $560+ frieght. As mentioned before this is his design and rating you will need to get the towbar localy fitted and certified. I am going to order a towbar soon... if anyone else in brisbane would like to order one as well and share the freight costs (Max says about $100 to Brisi) let me know. I believe it wont be to dificult to get it engineered and I have a few contacts that did my old Pathfinder with the SR20DET 2WD conversion and the rally car. For fitting I was thinking of doing it myself and here if anyone else wants to get involved I have access to a workshop on Saturdays with 3 hoists... or if there is enough of us in Brisbane we could approach someone to do a multi-fit for a few Stageas at the same time.

Do you still have the original Stagea mats with the stag emblem on them? I am after fronts if in good nic and boot. Antony

How much would a GTR frontcut cost? Wouldn't this give you all the parts you need... and if you where tight for money sell the motor and front suspension and box to pay for the parts. Or better still find someone that just wants the motor etc and share the cost. Just a thought. Antony

Bubba yeah will interesting to see how your hardware goes keep us upto date. I did a search for Linux based install and software and they are coming along... Linux will give you a better system If you are linux savy. Also lower spec hardware will run heaps better than running XP then the car software. Antony

I have both... previous owner bought them and gave them to me. The first one is very basic like any manual you find in a glove box... nothing you wouldn't work out yourself or from asking in the forum. The second is very comprehensive worth getting if you have machenical aptitude and want to work on the Stagea yourself. It says in the Add that it covers WC34.. and well yes it does but not by name there is no mention of "WC34" other than in the add... not even on the cover. As it says "This newly available R33 engine workshop manual covers maintenance of engines fitted to..." so it is engine specific no model. yeah cool stuff... If I where to build my own I would use Laptop hardware. This will last longer and is already low voltage efficient and you can get 12v power supply if it is not already built in... not to mention cpu design for energy and heat efficiency. Laptop hardware is designed to withstand virbration/dropping and to some degree moisture. PC hardware although is a little better than it used to be is not designed for an environment where it is going to be moved... and face it roads in our country are not the best at times. If you use PC hardware you need to look at mounting and shielding... and don't be tempted to go for huge CPU's they are using the 1.5gb or less for a reason... Laptop HHD for a start but look at DRAM Hard drives, Gigabyte I-Ram or Solid State HDD as a better alternative. Antony

yeah possibly.. i will track down the owner before the last... my friend I bought it from didn't do a thing to the body paint and it was imposted mid '06 I think it has had only one other owner... I have some of the original purchase paperwork from the original purchase in '98 but it's all in japanese. Last month I was driving along and something dropped on my lap... nearly shit myself. It was 3 yellow cards with japanese and some hand written circles... like choosing different things. My girlfriends sister was up and I showed her... she can kind of read some japanese and said she thought it was machanic report cards... They where tucked in the visor.

Thanks heaps for this... after having a go myself a few times I am in awe of your skills So from your pic the number I need for the side window is 83892-0V000- So I can go to Nissan with this number and they should know what I talking about? ...and I have the corresponding numbers for the others which I have but good to know. I guess I could still get the 25tXfour badge... just need to work out which one... here seemed to be 2 numbers when I looked Antony

11am today Freedom Furniture Lutwyche Rd Windsor Brisbane saw 2 Stagea's. A coming together to talk about the weather... well maybe a mention or two of Stagea's in there somewhere My S1 25tXFour and iijj's S2 RSV. We trades seats for a block run... mine went like a stock S1 and Ian's like a scalded cat... very impressive mate. Nice to have met you Ian Antony
