  1. Hi guys, I have a genuine Greddy intercooler in excellent condition, like new. It's a 600x300x70 unit, I bought it brand new and it was only on my weekend car, but I had to upgrade. Supported over 400kw so should be an excellent upgrade over stock and no mods needed it's straight bolt in. Looking for $550 Ono Located in Melbourne.
  2. Thanks guys we'll give Mercury and JEM a buzz and see what they say. We'll also contact Albins and see what they say. Who would have thought this was gonna be this hard lol. Ash Samsona's is good but I don't think they've released a GTR version and from the sound of it they're good to about 800hp. But we'll suss them out also.
  3. Yeh I know that's the only issue, how long did they really last. Even a Hollinger will do 8's easy but won't take too many launches before issues. I'm starting to think the TH400 is the way to go, apparently very easy to drive on the street too. Only thing tho. An auto GTR, I can't make peace with that and I respect that it works incredibly well but I couldn't do it. That's me personally, but he'll have to make a decisions
  4. Yeh Ppg he's not very keen on, not too much info on their sequential, basically it's still unproven. Thank Paul that's exactly the type of response I was looking for. I'm a massive OS88 fan and that'd be my choice but then again I wouldn't be chasing these crazy numbers which is a different ball game. I'll pass on what you said.
  5. Okay so after lots of research and with some mixed reviews I'm after some info on people's experience with the OS88. I'm helping a mate with this as he's stuck with the transmission. So he's building a big HP GTR, we're talking Nitto RB32 Stroker, CNC head with the works, dry sump, ProMod etc etc. Hoping for 8 sec passes one day. Now he's always wanted a sequential box and is trying to stay away from auto like the popular TH400 etc even tho it's proving to be difficult to decide. From what we've found is that people who used it in England and on their forums it's a mixed bag of reviews some say it's shit, many have broken them etc. Some say they're the shit. Some say that Hollinger is better but Hollinger can't take too many hard launches but is more reliable and less maintenance. Also apparently OS88 is a pain in the street compared to the Hollinger and that it'll wear out quicker requiring attention. As you all know none of these are cheap and even tho he's willing to spend on whatever is better but it's proving to be a hard decisions. With the cost of any of these it's important to make the right choice, which is why I'm asking for some help on here. If anyone has personally used them as dailies and track warriors, could you please help us out and shed some light.
  6. It's just a bitch to do anything really!! Just played around too much and wasted time. Best would have been to extend and separate them a bit. They basically lean on eachother, especially the hot side of one wastegate is leaning on the top of the other. Apparently it can be bad as it can damage the inside diaphragm. Yeh just clocked them around but it's not as easy as it sounds. As the v bands are in the way of eachother too. Hard to explain but a pain in the arse.
  7. Ah okay!! I got mine through PJ, if you end up looking for someone else worth asking him too. Just a heads up, a thing I had a bit of a problem with is that the wastegates sit way too close to eachother with the 6boost manifold. I made it work but but if it was still out of the car I'd separate them a bit more as my mechanic advised me. I'm sure you'll sort it out A few pics of mine to give you an idea.
  8. Who did you get your wastegates through? I got mine not long ago, same 38mm Tial's V-bands within a few weeks.
  9. I went with twin in tank pumps and twin feed to the rail. Relays, wiring all that stuff was done too and it's running perfectly. Iv also got custom adaptors and lid to make it all work.
  10. I had my one set up exactly the same when I was running one pump. However I had issues as the pump was overheating when below 1/4 tank and pushing it. It was all fine when it had more fuel than that.
  11. Very nice!! Any cams in there?
  12. No 1/4 mile time yet!! Too much hassle for me to get it there
  13. I'll get some pics for you guys when I get home. My fuel system has all the above you mentioned Marko, twin lines to the fuel rail and modded stock rail to accommodate another feed.
  14. Yes, with a greedy y pipe and filters!!
  15. Nismo afm mate
  16. This is the only graph I have!! Probably is but didn't want to push it, engine has lots of track days and kms on it since rebuild I just wanna keep it safe until I have it freshened up.
  17. It's an R33 Gtr, Racepace did all the fab work and all the fuel setup. I couldn't exactly tell you what adapters etc they used, i didn't see it all while outside the car. I know they made it all in house and there was lots of work involved.
  18. Racepace built rb26 PTE 6262 twin scroll setup 6boost manifold Stock cams Id1000's E85 + twin intank Walbro's Power FC This was on 23psi
  19. Thread dig I know but I can finally post up my results here
  20. Here are my recent results with a Precision 6262 twin scroll setup (Thanks PJ) Racepace built and tuned rb26 with standard cams and e85.
  21. I know this topic has died down a bit, but I was just wondering where all these 1000hp+ cars are? Not being a smartass at all but I seriously don't know of that many around Melbourne, I'd just love to know what and where they're used. Some of the quickest street cars in melbourne don't have that much, there's very few infact. For eg edge has half a dozen 1000hp going at once, and have built so many other ones too. Where are they going anyone know?
