  1. Did you end up speaking to Yavuz about doing it? We are setting up my car in the next few weeks using this sensor and a G4.
  2. Thing is, the siemens sensor is known to work. Is it worth messing up >$1000 worth of tuning for a few hundred dollars!
  3. Yeah no worries Eric.
  4. No idea. Haven't bought any for a while
  5. ^^ With any luck I might have a ethanol sensor in there. So drive down on 98 and take 8 or so jerries for the track day. Fingers crossed!
  6. But but.... You can't see them?
  7. It does vary. The cheapest I have bought some from Rozelle for was 99.7 C per litre, that was 12 months ago. It normally hovers around $1.20 (Give or take)
  8. Its not about being a keyboard warrior mate. I dare say this topic has been discussed 100's of times. Adding a vent to atmo BOV does NOTHING to enhance the perfoamance of the car. it makes a silly noise and creates issues. Sounds like a total waste of money by doing such a mod, especially when the factory system works!
  9. Map sensor not AFM's.
  10. Nice result!
  11. Yes it made more grunt down low and it had more torque then mine (as you would expect for the longer stroke) but having driven Steve's his definitely came on earlier again.
  12. In that case. BRB, I'm going to buy 312's to put on my stock turboed GTR!
  13. How many of us are going to be trailering cars down? Its going to be quite a site with a decent sized convoy of petrol sucking Nissan's!
  14. There should be a automatic link to a page when someone types 'BOV and problems' Rip off and throw the aftermarket one where it belongs.... In the bin!
  15. It's only going to be flung straight back at you
  16. Looks good to me. Who else is in? I can't just talk to Eric all day. (No offence Eric)
  17. Ethanol sensor would be the go. Hopefully that could be in and working by then. On the freeway though I think a fair bit can be saved (when the 5's go on) for the simple reason that it wont be choofing.... choofing = AFM have a brain fart which = mega squirt from injectors.
  18. Couldn't agree more. I have that setup on my car ATM and its a completely useless setup both on the street and on a track (like Wakefield). RS's = bin, -5's = take their spot!
  19. I think 15 should do it.... I'm not joking.. We took 11 last time for DECA. We ducked into Melbourne to fill up 5 empties. I had about 3 full ones by the time I got home. Ontop of that, this is a trackday! I'm going to watch the needle fall!
  20. And lots of them!
  21. ^^ thousand
  22. You going to have the CDI on before the mats Eric?
  23. Yeah I'd be keen. $$??
  24. I can make it on 1 stop so I am fine. I think what Steveo suggested is the best bet. Leave PH servo at about 630, Yass to Pick up the Canberra crew then Albury for a quick stop. I'll just do a quick fuel dash at every stop we have!
  25. Well the place where I am staying is fine. Steve tell's a funny story of Roy from VIC sleeping under a BBQ becasue it was 'the warmest place' LOL. Its a fairly small town man. Im sure it wouldn't be a problem (If thats your thing)
