  1. Hey guys. Just a quick question in regards to a few suspension components im going to install in my R33 GTR. Im in two minds if i should go with the pillow ball or the bushing type where i have the choice. The car is 95% road car which is driven maybe once a fortnight. I have heard that the pillow balls are a little bit noiser which is not really a big concern, unless it really is totally unbearable. I have a set of Nismo S-Tune suspension to go in (NOT hight adjustable) Was thinking along the lines of Ikeya Formula Rear Camber adjuster upper arm, Ikeya Formula adjuster aear lower arm set, Ikeya Formula front upper link set, Ikeya Formula front pillow adjuster link set and maybe some Cusco swaybars. Thoughts? Should i do anything different? Brief spec of the car is a 2.8 litre with GT RS's with 370 RWKW.
  2. Is it really killing anyone by having it open? A few of us are still having issues.
  3. SOunds like a injector has kicked the bucket. Pull them out and get them tested.
  4. Have bought from them a few times. Turned up within a few days.
  5. Dont forget the later (Series 3) airboxes have the extra intake from the guard!
  6. Making 370 at the rears here. You wont catch me dead with pods on it.
  7. Since the first time i drove it. It doesnt matter if i shift hard or not as it is there under power in 3rd gear only. After smashing a box im the biggest fairy with shifting! I got a call from a bloke in England who has exactly the same issue at exactly the same speed. He has done 12,000 kms on his box and has run a high 10 @ 135 ish MPH, so making a fraction more grunt then me. He hasnt broken it yet, so i might just put up with it. Only time will tell.
  8. ^^ Hmm. In my case all the internal stuff was out of a almost brand new Series 3 box which had 11,000 KMS on it. It was purchased in may/ june 2006 from Just Jap. You would think that I would have the lastest revision in my box at the moment. and I cant see it being worn that much after so little work to require a new one.
  9. ^^^ Is that fork a aftermarket one or was it just a new OEM one?
  10. where do you get one of these different selector forks from? How much are they?
  11. Deffo be getting myself one of these
  12. Also got one of these batteries in my GTR, purchased off Jerry. No issues here
  13. How long until you put your shaft in Andrew? Be interesting to see if you have the same issue as a few of us have had. Maybe we can get a discount for the shipping back to America
  14. I got mine off by having about 1.5 m of leverage and one person pushing... one person pulling. I thought the bars were going to snap! hahah
  15. Might be $1200 from nissan but they are (tonight) $143.11 shipped to Sydney each from RHDjapan. Im im for new coils and I wont be buying anything other then OEM.
  16. After driving it tonight to wisemans ferry and back i think i might just leave it. Having said that, i might jump into it next week and want to rip it out there and then. What to do? ARGH!
  17. Been there done that. New shaft, stock shaft it doesnt matter. Same F*^&CJEN shit! Dont waste your time man.
  18. lol. Yeah that stupid thing. Hopefully next wednesday night at the drags will snap it in half at the start line. stupid POS!
  19. Better not get it back and have the same problem!! I wonder why OS Giken dont warn us of this issue or is it that they dont know about it themselves?
  20. Metal. DONT buy a ceramic one.
  21. I thought it was quite a rubbish article. Couldnt they have given it to the stog and take it around the track or something?
  22. I have an X force on mine. cheapest out of the lot. No problems here. Made 370 rwkw on unigroups dyno at 21 psi.
  23. Im going next week with a few mates.
  24. In 2 minds how to go about this. Seeing that I got it rebalanced externally from them, the might not accept it. However when/if these guys do accept it back they will probebrly put it on some sort of machine to see if it is out. Now the guy that I got it balaced up through did say it is perfectly straight and is reading "0" on the machine. Bah humbug!
