Meggalla, no worries and good luck with your car development. that info was good. just thought the figure was a little low for so much boost and a turbo rated so highly. i know dynos read differently we have one in our workshop that is not dyno dynamics. i understand about the rich fuel mixtures but what was limiting more power. fuel system?? also woulld this turbo be expected to make more power on an internally standard(can include cams) rb or sr? would it not be the rb with its higher rpm capability? dont worry if theres little in it and not worth mentioning. i respect the work you are doing but just dont understand why. apart from handling/weight issues i guess stay true(rb20), Mic

Meggalla, 1.2 bar for 203rwkw sounds a little dissapointing to me. When bbenny makes about that with 12psi and a stock computer. id say blow the SR. go the RB20 with the hks2530 with a proven 230rwkw available on stock internals and stock ex manifold. just my 2c worth i know, but talking smak about rb20's being worse than Sr's well when will you learn. SeriesII: The turbo is a bolt on meaning that it can use the stock dump pipe and all original piping etc. it is designed to be this way being a BOLT ON kit. not sure about the water/oil lines for rb25.

hey sau, need to ask a few questions to those who have fitted hks 2530's to their rb20's As i bought my turbo second hand it did not come with any water or oil lines, the stock oil lines line up i am able to use them but the size of the banjo fitting on the water lines are larger than the ones found on the 2530!! I am thinking of using either some braided line and earls fittings etc but am unsure where i can buy these (i am in Brisbane) can anyone help OR i was thinking of cutting the existing water pipes and re-brassing the hks banjo fittings onto them. What should i do, i spose either would work but honestly id rather get some braided lines made because thats what the serious builders seem to do. The next thing i am concerned about is the banjo fitting that supplies the oil to the turbo, it seems to have and extremely small restrictor in the bolt(thingy) much smaller than the stock turbo uses. it is about 2mm in diameter. can anyone shed some light as i really dont want to shag my turbo due to something so basic as incorrect oil supply to the turbo. the restrictor came slightly screwed into the turbo core so i am assuming it is the correct one but yeah need to be sure. All advice will be much appreciated but please no speculation just fact because this is something many people will need to know. cheers Michael

ylwgtr: what color did u use for the cam covers it looks different to the stock r34 red. i am about to spray my rb20 covers ferrari red (even tho i hate ferarris they do have the best red) and looking at your motor has got me thinking.. could i use something more fllashy like the candy shit that was mentioned or is it not candy... cheers mate, mic

Jay51 has offered to buy the turbo just waiiting to hear back from him. The turbo is a low mount which is one of the reasons i iwent for it, like u say madgt4 those doggs at transport wont getcha If Jay51, who i know personally, doesnt have the money or whatever then it will remain for sale. i just dont want to be rude to anyone. Cameron: as you can see from the pictures the stock dump pipe is still attached, it has hks on the exaust housing. i dont want to get ito the debate about not having hks on the compressor housing again as enough was said on teh last thread. the result was that the t3 flange hks turbos dont have hks on the compressor housing. oh and i have no digi cam so i cant take pics. Also it IS a straight fit to rb20/25 lastly i am overwhelmed by the interest but i will not sell to the highest bidder, im not out to rip anyone off just regain what i paid... thanks all hope ive mad sense, Mic Dave: you are on my msn list. you sold me the grill.

Asking what i paid for it $1800 plus postage. Was purchased from Supra man and has NOT been fiitted to any car in Australia. Turbo is in PERFECT condition, no shaft pay whatsoever. Comes with everything needed to fit RB20/25. Has travelled 7000kms. See pics below. BTW comes with stock dump as pictured. yeh i have the pdf 3.5 meg turb timer one but it doesnt have the llast page.. i know thats winging but anyways. Anyone that could help with a full english manual for the 60mm electronic guages, welll it would be greatly appreciated.. you think greddy would get off there ass and have proper translations on there site but noooo.... thanks again meshmesh

White r32: its black and it can hold 30psi maybe a touch more. it has been used on many top end cars in japan. cheers mic

As the thread title suggests i have a Greddy Profec B spec 1 for sale.. i used it wiithout hassle for 2 years. it is being sold as i am in the process of a major round of mods and no longer require it. it is a liittle rough but still in excellent condition. it has some small instalation marks and the price reflects this (for all those picky bastards). $350 ono Also autometer 20psi boost guage, works fine, black face, comes with cup holder. only bad thing (maybe) is that the needle sits on the vacuum side when car is off.. not sure why or iif it is bad but it did work perfectly. $50 ono Thirdly i have a stock hcr32 turbo for sale, off my 93 model with 110k on the clock. boosted to 12psi only for 2 years. minimal if any shaft play, comes with compressor outlet bend and screws. $400 ono lastly i will have a set of king lowered springs suit hcr32 for sale in the future as i have purchased some coilovers. pm me if initerested $100 cheers all.. Steve, i have a hks 2540 and it only has hks on the exaust housing. not on the actuator, nor the compressor housing. can you prove that it is not a hks turbo because i really doubt it as is was sold to me by a very reliable contact. please be sure of your statements as the amount of bullshit on this board must be approaching the 50% level... night, mic

i have just recieved my greddy twin meter holder and two 60mm electronic greddy guages... now for the embarassinig part.. i cant get the guages in the holes.... its close to fitting but just cant stuff the bastards in there? can anyone help? are there some secret tips i need??? or is it just my hair color holding me back any help would be much appreciated as all the lingo on the boxes is in jap. cheers all, mic

i imported my 32 back at the end of 99 and was appauled with the compliance job. cheap and tacky crackheads could have done a better job.... car was fine though... on a brighter note, geoff from presige is a top bloke/businessman and importantly a genuine enthusist. when my 32 was written off i loooked at importing an r34, geoff put me on the mailling list for 34's for free for a week so i could see what was actually available to me. he was very reasonable and honest on price. and the good news is with hiim you get what you pay for... no margin needs to be made selling some fool a dodge car for more than its worth... oh well i dont offer much but thats my 0.02 cents work. cheers all.. happy importing mic

Bump!!! I also need to know what offset i require and what sizes can be fitted. The car is a R32 GTS-t with the 4 piston brakes. I was thinking of getting 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 for the rear.... what do others think. The latest HPI features the bodyform 32gts and it runs those sizes... Lastly, i think its pathetic no one can help me, this is an import message board and no one know where to get import wheels. Please help Mic
