My 18 inch LM-GT4's weight 7.4kg each, i was thinking that was optimistic for a 17. Took the 18 out of the box, onto scales...

[quote name=knore And what if i did create my own afm pipe? Goto my gallery and see half the custom things we've made' date=' i sure as hell have more of an intention and drive to make my own things for my car than you do QUOTE] Knore, put down your super cheap socket set and have a think for once before u spam the board with your nuggz... And good luck on the custom crap too, im sure you have a workshop, dyno, two hoists, air lines, power tools etc that i have :flamed: Ive been working at our shop since u where in primary school dude, so bring it on And about the reducer, the gt-rs is a bolt on kit therefore using the standard turbo to AFM pipe. As what bass is making replaces this rubber pipe it will fit the gt-rs turbo. But hey i thought that would have been completely obvious too.

haha bullshit man your name is on the list and therefore you should not be winging like a 2c bitch. It clearly states that price is not definite, and for you to think that you can produce, or have produced the sort of quality product that im sure you want for "$120 tops" is well about as stupid as you are :kick: Its just the lack of respect really to bass, im sure hes not going to retire on the profit should there be any and he is helping out more people in one group buy id say, than anyone on SAU has before. Check the numbers knore, he is going to have his hands full organising this stuff for u all the while worrying about getting a top quality product. He really doesnt need to worry about your :bs!:
-
Where is your product that is as good for $120 "tops"? didnt think so $200 is a bargian for this sort of thing. Especially when u just have to sit on your ass and wait for it to be finished and posted to you. Your comments where not positive and its not as if you could do better. PS. Prototype looks sweet bass, but im sure you know that

Snap on seat covers. OMG put them on when ur car is in the workshop, not for stlyez.... Automatics, period. Sports car and auto's should never happen, ie GTR. For the abo****e lamest :flamed: $4.50 resprays/bog Autobarn sticker sets on everything... Chromies, thats a given. No rear spolier as the only mod. can anyone say cooking model....? Front mounts on camry etc.. hahaahhahaahhaahh. More later maybe.... oh yeah, and all the obove, Horus ' list was my thoughts exactly But then again, i dont get to upset, i kinda feel sorry for some of them. I mean we all know how much we like cars. Imagine if you really liked holden/ford/crap etc and going to supercheap(its all u know or can afford) and spending some money youve put away and then u get the worst time of your life from peope on the road for it. Doesnt really seem fair, i kinda think that as bad as someones taste/car is that they are the ones who have to drive it, and if they like it good on them.... Im just glad ive worked hard to be more fortunate. Some people are not as well off tho, and this should not prevent them from being an enthusist. Hell they might even be doing it for jokes.....

Bass, I am still in. After christmas/new year is fine with me, im quite happy to wait while u come up with a product you are happy with. It sounds like these will be very well made indeed, thanks again mate. Mic

Awesome engine, you should make that second exaust 4 inch as soon as you can after the turbos(phsically fit etc) might be worth a thought anyway.... Might help get the boost at 2500 rpm that your after too.

Excellent Bass, i did think that was the case. I also understood it was teh cars you need and not the rubber pipe. I hope this is clear to everyone so that when the time comes, bassy is not having a hard time. Everyone here wants theirs asap, so help him help you. keep up the good work Bass Junky

Wooho car makes front cover of driftbattle!
Gts-t replied to someonestolecc's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Meggalla, What was wrong with the r32 for drift, was it that your r32 had no where near the level of suspension mods or engine power of the ceffy and was pretty much a stocker? Congrats on the magazine too, though i think they called your s15 bov a throttle body -
BASS, i know this doesnt help for everyone but i am quite happy and would prefer you to leave the BOV and PCV pipes off mine. Also i think your price of $200 is very realistic and would prefer to pay that and recieve quality than pay $150 and not. I think $200 is still a bargain. Also to all you Melboune boys, pull your fat fingers out and give Bass junky a hand(when he needs it obviously), he has said that he needs a 32 and 33 to make some jigs up on. I know someone will come through but Bass is really doing us al a favor here, so help him out soon guys!!

if it was sent to the correct address then it cannot be brents fault, can it?
-
Ive heard everything possible and then some, i was told they where not in stock when i payed. i was told 6-12 weeks knowing full well before i ordered there was little chance of them being instock(at rays) and therefore quite prepared to wait 6-12 weeks. its been a really long 6-12 weeks since mid feb and i dont really know whats going on. last i heard they where at "the japanese buyers' house but that was two weeks yesterday. havent received email in that time to say anything either. i find this odd as i was assured they where being sent express 4 day delivery from japan. Maybe customs has them, i dont know you think id have a letter from Aus post or something. Could get and email any day (or not) explaing thngs to me again... who knows. the worst part is i cant register/insure my car untill i have them and its been that way for 2-3 months :uhh: bretto: if your mates stuff was not sent to the address he supplied, i agree he should be pissed off and its a valid point to make. Is there more to the story? I had some stuff sent from nengun-brent and it went to knore but brent was more than sorry, had knore's details for me and was more than happy to have it posted too me at his(brents) expense. By then id had enough of the post, drove to the southside to knore's house and picked up my parts.

Brent is good, i had a 2k order from him that i asked to be sent as two smaller orders and i got stung at customs for the lot. This happens when you are trying to sneak stuff in keep that in mind when you are workng out how much money you can blow. Maybe you dont have as much cash as you really think, this is not brents fault. i ordered(wont say where from) and payed for some rims from rays in feb that where meant to take 6-12 weeks, he(not brent) should have said 6-12 months and i woulda gone somewhere else. I still dont have them, and my car is sitting unregistered as a result try to stomach that. No tracking numbers yet, poor customer service list goes on. Would'nt normally waste my time winging but my point is that Brent is good and those people winging about 4 weeks or something like that should get in the real world. 7-8 months on rims, i dont know what world im in anymore but i wouldnt be in it if id just have got them thru brent-nengun. beware the real problem comes when you want a refund because its taken over half a year. its hard to know where you stand, especially when you are told to take them to court if you want teh cash back... im done just makes me feel :spew:

Duncan, thanks for that i will look into pulling the fuse. I have also noticed the D1 GP drivers braking so hard and with such talent that they can lock all wheels comming into corners among other things. I dont think ill be pushing oor shouod i say braking my car that hard so it shouldnt be to much of a problem. Good to hear i can pull a fuse and not remove the whole ABS frm the car. thanks again Dunc. mic

Mounting the JMS R32 boot Lip spoiler
Gts-t replied to Starionturbo's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
get some liquid urethane i just stuck my skirts and pods on with it, forget double sided tape the best stuff is still rubbish.. . the only catch for you is that they arent comming off easy!! no problem for me tho i never want them off  not sure what brand it was or what shop its purchasable from, at a guess id say windscreens o'brien but dont quote me. My body man is in charge of the presige work in town, as in porsche, ferrari, lambo, audi, jag etc so i never doubt what we do to my car. good luck -
How much of a disadvantage is having ABS going to create when wanting to drift. im not talking about some crappy oversteer on the street. im talking about drift using real braking and wieght shifting tecniques that are needed to brake the tail out comming into corners at resonable speed, or perhaps most speeds... dont quote me. As it is rare or undesirable to lock the wheels while drifting (excluding rear wheels with Handbrake of course) im thinking having ABS might not prove to much of a disadvantage. I however am not an expert. I have noticed that some d1 cars with abs standard have had it removed, i wasnt suprised though but im starting to get paranoid :headspin: Im thinking though that if what ive said is correct then i shouldnt be locking the front wheels so the abs wont come into play anyhow. im hoping anyway. if it is a problem can i remove a fuse to disable the abs temporarily? cheers

Thanks everyone, i think my cheapest option will be to get a mod chip from mod-chip.com. The DMS3 allows you to play anything and is a pretty high quality chip too.. if anyones interested they are about 88AUD delivered... Cant wait to play initial and watch the d1 footage on Option... all mic

Been wanting to buy some option dvds for awhile, the probem is as many of you would know that they are NTSC format and region 2. What i really want to know is what do i need to watch them. My sony tv has a NTSC support, and my dvd player is a ps2, though i have other ones in the house. can people who are watching them shed some light, i tired searching for awhile. mic
