    Updated pix of the GTR

Awesome work mate, love the bumper and teh old school badge. Nismo skirting would be an awesome finish for the kit at some point perhaps. Cheers for the shots
  4. The gibson motorsport r31 retained the stock inlet plenum, did it not :headspin: good enough for gibson motorsport, good enough for me Other than that, it does look very nice
  5. Sensational stace, looks very VERY shmick. My car will look quite similar when its completed in around 4 weeks, will have some pics then... talk is cheap you know 26GTS
  6. Really appreciate if someone could send the pdf file to michaelcameron81 @ hotmail.com thanks guys
  7. Hey MidnightGTR, forgot stock turbos will get around the 250 mark depending on model etc. Please disregard my above post and i would love to see a dyno graph of these turbos when you get it making the power your after. 26GTS
  8. This is def .02 cents worth and i must say i have not researched the nismo turbos for even 1 second but from where i sit i would put the blame on either 1. the turbos or 2. not enough boost for the power you want, now if apc reckon the air is getting to hot at 17 psi to make any more power then i would def say the turbos are to small for what you want. However they may be perfect for someones elses aplication. Surely some 2530's would flow 300rwkw. 2. the tuning.. (have heard apc are good tho, so... ) good luck mate
  9. Id be questioning the ebc, whats the deal there, id be asking for them to show you the legislation. thats :bs!:
  10. Ive heard the standard oil pressure guages arent much chop so i wouldnt really worry yourself about it. Maybe get an aftermarked one with a decent sesor... Also i dont really see the point of an oil pressure guage, i mean by the time there is a problem your engine is already dead :headspin: My 2c worth, 26GTS
  11. Dont have your bov vent externally simple My car has this problem and it only started after i fitted the bov that vents externally. I plan to vent the air back in in the future so i can put up with it for now, it happens very occasionally anyway. if its of any interest i did read somewhere on either here or sdu about a procedure u can put the ecu thru to rasie the ide speed or something. maybe do some searching... good luck 26GTS
  12. Pretty sure the sr20de one is a good(larger) upgrade. That said maybe the ford one is bigger again i dont know..... 26GTS
  13. :werd:
  14. Gotcha joel, thought thats what you were gettting at but i was assuming the back would be the same as the front, ie. sensor goes into hub. I will look in the next week when i have my car up on one of my two hoists will take some pics if anyone is interested.... See ya, 26GTS
  15. Joel, couldnt not agree more especially about the brakes not being that hard to lock when you(have to) slam on them. Also you raised a point i had been considering mentioning but thought it might go over to many heads, that is with abs the point is not only to stop in a shorter distance but also to allow you to steer around the object you are braking for.... BTW i get you about the gravel ON TOPIC: Joel: Why would u need to change diff/driveshafts? Those contemplating the installation: Sell the car and buy one with the abs, if u hate that answer heres my real 2 cents worth. Theres alot to change over, including the front hubs/sensors etc. Even if you machined your original ones to take the sensors theres a round thing inside the hub that the sensor reads that is obviously not in the non abs ones. Add that onto the cost of buying all the other parts and the labour and id say your would be better stripping anything off your car you want to keep and sell it/buy one with abs. save some $$$ not to mention time and an installation that may not be as good as factory. What i really mean is that u dont want to go to the trouble of doing all this then have the abs system not work properly/give errors. Where woudl u start lookg for problems then..... :headspin: :headspin: 26GTS
  16. Haha, nice one slow13dude, my line of thinking there. Thanks for providing some common sence joel i was struggling. Although your comment about non abs giving you much more control i would have to disagree, you can press very hard without locking(any skyline), and its only then ONCE THE BRAKES ARE LOCKED that the abs does anything, i would say its a bonus rather than and hinderance (forgive spelling) as it only adds to the package and takes away nothing. You have all the flexibilty of a car without with the added bonus of abs. The only people who should now be getting upset are the ones that actually want to slide and lock up there wheels?? not me And tony the ABS on my car works great do u really think i care what u have to say about them compared to a car much more expensive and newer. Is anything else on the skylines crap, no, then why would the abs be so. Talk it up mate, just because your poverty pack didnt come with it..... and btw i have never needed the abs on the street either, but its refreshing to know its there and can stop the car in less distance than your non abs equiped model. First and last fact for u tony, a sliding car takes a longer distance to stop. you cant change that or there would be no such thing as abs! 26GTS
  17. Hey 2G, thats a nice drawing, who is doing this for you? do they just do it from photos? Cheers, Mick
  18. And these are all facts because you say so? yeh right...... :flamed:
  19. you will need the intelligence taken out of driving when you have no choice but to hit the brakes as hard as possible, i dont care how good you think you are in extreme cases abs will allow you more options that a non abs equiped car. Does a car with the brakes locked sliding not take a longer distance to stop? Or would you hit whatever you had locked the brakes for at a faster speed thus more damage/disaster? Im sure an abs equiped car will stop in a shorter distance than a no abs car. if you think you can do with your feet what the abs unit does once the brakes are locked then i would be extremely impressed. Especially say when the road is wet :headspin: You have to remmeber the unit only does its thing once the brakes have locked up, by then you have ****ed up and need the intelligence taken out. Also im quite happy to be proven wrong.....
  20. I cant find the bastard, does anyone have one laying around they would like to part with??? Please PM me if you do and i will send some $$ your way. Mick
  21. I have the larger R-SPL kit you are talking about, its cool with the polished pipes etc . On the downside it sat way to low for my liking standard so i modified it to sit higher, wasnt that big of a problem but thought u should know.
