  1. Maybe if it was wet.....
  2. With all the rest of the bs there i doubt the f/r weight balance has improved at all. Its still more than twice the capacity of a 2.5, double the turbos etc. more pisons more rods etc etc. Just because the block is alloy doesnt make it all good. A rotor would have been a better choice However if it did end up with a weight balance same as stock or better i would be a huge fan btw gotta love the chopped rad support Also im sure cars like this are great at getting people from both worlds together and into their workshops spending money. But how great will the car be in a drift comp, i dont rem the pink s15 every achieving much...
  3. so the weight balance is what now. 75/25 rofl
  4. I want to get mine redone in black leather, with red stitching. I did see some on here once done in bmw leather, it was like silver and grey i think. looked awesome

  6. MR331307, well done on the time and the hp your making, good effort
  7. Now were talking
  8. Im pretty sure they are carbon "look" rather than real carbon fibre. They only cost $30 more than normal ones i doubt u get real carbon for that. That said they are and awesome mirror, good luck with the sale. I have a set of non carbon ones being painted at the moment. Any chance u can weigh one?
  9. Pft what a dunga theyd have to pay me 13k just to drive it

  15. Thanks Drift limo, i know what ur talking about. I helped my mate put one in his datto 1600 sr20 conversion and it did weigh a bit. Ill leave that for next time i have the dash apart i think, unless i get really bored
  16. Just removed the air con and the last of the rear seatbelts. Dodgy phone pics for anyone interested
  17. Congrats theo!!! Now vidorban
  18. Thanks for the help. My choice is either 18x8.5+40 or 18x9+22. I think ill get the guards modified, i know someone pretty handy. I guess fitting gtr front guards would be an easy option on the front. Salad has said previously that the 8.5s with +40 will hit the strut(front only) with the tyre if not the rim. I want to run the same size wheel/tyre combo front and rear, hence why i just bought the 7.5 + 30s for a start Cheers guys
  19. roy has the 255s on a 9.5 inch rim SK suggested to me that 235s are a very good fit on my 18x7.5s Atm i have 225/40s Salad how do u think 18x9 +22 would fit on r32 gtst? with 255 rubber?
  20. Roy i have 225/40s on 7.5 inch wide rims. SK suggested i run 235 in the future. Why do u like the tyres stretched out, i mean wouldnt a 265 provide more grip and a better ride?
  21. What were your tyres nankangs? Did u have rock hard suspension as well?
  22. Obviously u idiots cant read. I said 9 inch wide rims for rb26/30 500hp. Your gtr must be good is that why ur selling it.?? Also 4WD is not everything, especially in the dry. Hence why i didnt buy a gts4 either. The track days im aiming to run the car at in the future involve going for the fastest lap, that is like one warmup lap, one hot lap, one cool down lap. If the track is wet the guys dont run so i wont have to compete for times in the wet. With 500hp, more torque (2.6 vs 3.0) more grip (having 9inch wide rims and less weight) there is no where on the track the gtr should have any advantage except maybe some point of exiting the corner. I would always trade this for a car that will turn into corners BETTER than a gtr due to the fact there is not 150 extra kgs sitting over the front wheels. Good luck with the sale u will need it....
  23. Your a good man beer baron, i apologise for acting like a wanker. I thought u were pretty decent member untill i read your inital post obviously i took it the wrong way indeed. I rate the gtr very highly and in anything but the dry i think the 4wd will dominate Rwd every time. You would be correct when i say i have never owned or even been for a ride in one (unless a 260RS counts) However i think in the dry, a RWD RB26/30 500hp 1300 kg GTST with could be right along side if not faster than 500hp gtr (2.6-3.1 whatever). Obviously im going to need some 9 inch wide rims and some rubber as good as yours advans i was thinking re555s would be ok. I will be staying 18inch, how much worse than 17inch do u think that will be? I must say though at the moment with 213rwks from the RB20, the 18x7.5s with S-03 rubber is holding the power very well and handling very well. Also like i said i will go to the weigh bridge soon and get back to this thread, im still interested in u telling me what u think it would weigh now.
  24. Hey Roy, im sure u know this but the nismos are forged too. Also do tyres get heavier as the profile decreases or something. Like is a 18inch tyre heavier than a 16inch? i would have thought the 16 inch tyre to wiegh more. When i fitted my rims the rim was 7.4 and the tyre 12kg And yeah the same as you id like to get down the the weight of atleast stock silvias (any model) or as close as i can go without going crazy.
