My computer room's window got smashed by the hail storm & now there is dirty & water everywhere... My Chinese satellite dish got smashed to pieces & my cloth line rack snapped. Thank God I went to Curtin today so my car was undamaged, although driving back today was bloodly scary on the freeway, where I couldn't see like 1/2 meter in front of me.

Finished all 3 single player campaigns, they were too short IMO.

My thoughts exactly. People say the guy might lose control & injury/kill the "innocent" by standers, but from what I can see from the film, none of them are what I would classify as "innocent", seems to me that they knew it was illegal & made their choice to stand & watch so therefore they should know & accept the risks involved if something does go wrong. Maybe they lack the brain cells to process that part, but it still doesn't make them any more innocent. I know I'm surely not going to be standing anywhere near the burnout car. Only in the case if someone was just passing by & got hit by the burnout gone wrong then I would classify them as "innocent".

Didn't really buy much on impulse for car related stuff as most of the parts are pretty expensive. But I bought a bunch of smaller crap (most of them I found out I didn't have much/any use for...) on impulse. Also I almost placed an order for the new Asus G73 gaming laptop (~$2.5k) on impulse but managed to convince myself to hold it for another month or so as otherwise I won't have $ for my car's service thats due soon.

The Ipad is a fancy embedded computer system. Which is still classified as a computer. When the word "computer" comes up most would only think of the platform computers (ie PCs). So yeah, I say they are computers, just a very overpriced POS one that targeted at Apple fan boys/girls.

Anyone else having problems with the game using the DX 10 or 11 render? Certain levels in the single player will not load & the game will crash during on the load screen when I'm using either the direct x 10 or 11 render. The Dx 9 render works fine. Using a GTX260+ btw.

Went down to $1.5k this year, due to no claims being made (no traffic fines either! ) I think I might take a gamble & use their $1100 excess adjust to bring down my rate down to $900ish but excess will be >$3k ouch...

Year, transmission type, list of mods (if any) & price

My car was insured with JC for $2k (car value $10k), when I came to renew the policy early this year I used their website thing & added some of the extra mods I did to the car (exhaust, POD, SAFC 2, intercooler & boost controller) they upped my car's insured amount from $10k to $11.7k & didn't change my premium? Are they actually being generous or their computer software must be bugged?

I got my copy on steam, but can't afford to download it atm due to me almost at my download quota... How big is the game to download on steam? It says it requires ~15Gb of HDD space to install.

Thats coz I can already get 18+ games... any case I'm filling out my form now.

It appears that iiNet have recently activated their ADSL2+ in my exchange, now I tempted to switch to them from my current TPG ADSL 1. Only problem I have is that I have being using my TPG mail box for years & almost all of the important logins & registrations were done using that mail box, now if I switch I'll need to remember all of those & update my mail box to the iiNet one...

If that happened Holden would have being long broke by now...

I can only get ADSL 1 in my area, stupid mount Hawthrown exchange must still be running on dinosaur age technoloy... Game is still being downloaded...

+1 I would say thats one of the main reasons & they will get into the habit of doing it as time goes on. Because everyone is either too scared or can't be bothered. Somewhat related to the topic, a couple of years back a Junior cop came knocking on our door with a fine which stated that an off duty cop (who happened to be his Senior supervisor) filed a fine against my mum & claims that she had cut him off in her commodore while he was riding on his push bike. Fine was $100 or so I think, but my mum is the classic cheap ass Asian type, who doesn't even give out 5c coins for free so there is no way in hell she just going to let $100 go fly outside the window. She proceeded on filling the forum that she's not guilty & will appear in court. & during the day of the court, she found out that the cop who filed the fine against her had withdrew from the case. So basically she just walked in & walked out again. When she came back she told me she should have filed a complain on the cop for wasting her time & resources & demand a compensation for that

Hey I just skim read through your thread on the remap ECUs, you mentioned some auto Skylines on there, does that mean that the remapped ECU will still retain the auto logic shift controls?

Same. Would like to know the general area as well. Lucky the police around my area don't seem to notice my car much. I get more shit from bogans in VN/VP bogandores than coppers.
