  1. They tested one in myth buster way back, did not work as claimed

    Impounds

A guy at Uni told me his friend got warned by a cop for riding his push bike too fast. So push bikes aren't completely immune from the might of the hoon laws
  3. Besides the stock OEM one, I don't really know any sorry. You can get a custom made one to suit EPA I believe. I was reading through X-force's site & in the fine print section it said: "All exhaust is for off road/race use only, not for street unless otherwise stated" So I'm assuming thats a no no for EPA EDIT: I see you drive a V35, so IMO even if you get the X-force I doubt you will get pulled over much by the cops. V35 don't have the hoon aura emitting from them unlike the R32 to 34s
  4. Yeah it was.
  5. Bla, even with the ever toughening up of the mod laws, I bet I can still drive my mum's Camry that has no cat, crappy brakes & worn out tires to Vic & still won't get a 2nd look from the cops...
  6. Congratulations
  7. I have that as well. On my timing belt sticker it has 200,000 km written in pen in the blank section. Does that mean the belt was changed at 200,000km or is it telling me that the next belt change is at 200,000km? If its the former... that means my car is clocking up over 300,000km already...
  8. Double post... Uni internet seems to be somewhat f*cked
  9. I need one of those! Makes an excellent horn to wake up those idiots that falls asleep in front of the wheel at the traffic lights...
  10. The standard X-force turbo back exhaust itself is pretty quiet, I have one atm & its a lot quieter compared to my old one (which was just stock pipe with a cannon). But I heard that the x-force high flow cat isn't EPA approved.
  11. So does that also work the other way around, like you can drive around like a total granny doing 60km/h or so? Where normally you are not suppose to drive >20km/h under the limit (well that's what the driving test dude told me anyway...). Why don't they just chuck a 110km/h sign instead?
  12. How is a GX comparable to a GTS25T? Isn't the GX the bottom range of the Imprezas? its just a point A to B transport rather than a sports car? So its more like just a regular lancer with 4wd?
  13. The road (don't know the name) that you get off from Great Eastern High way to go to Perth international airport. Speed limit of 100km/h with traffic lights ftw!

    Car #2

    More recent photos.
  15. Isn't the test also alot cheaper than KEC's rip off price for the IM240?
  16. If you have early classes (like 8'oclock ones) then I found the best spaces are in student car park 1. When you go in to the car park from the main entrance, there are a couple of car park spaces on the right that are about 1.5x wider than regular spaces. I always park there if I going to be at Uni for extended periods of time.
  17. ^^^ YAY!!! So whats gonna happen to the people currently with a yellow telling them to do a IM240 test, can they get that crossed out? I hope the people who had already done that test get some kind of compensation for the wasted $$$ (especially if you failed) & time...
  18. Seems like non airbag stock steering wheels are very rare. I will now also consider any after market steering wheel that looks similar to the stock one; i.e. no shinny metal bits in the middle, just good old black plastic bits.
  19. The only problem I have with Subaru is that the new ones are ugly! Never being a fan of any kind of hatch backs, they all look like a sedan where someone had given it a boot in the a**... IMO I like the look of the older ones, same goes with the EVOs as well, don't really like the look of the current EVO 10, not a fan of the fat shark head...
  20. :worship: :worship:
  21. Thanks for the pm
