If I get caught listen to my Ipod while driving, does that also get impounded to a Ipod yard? What about those girls that does make ups on while behind the wheel, a impound yard for make up kits?

My dad's old Subaru 1800 rust-bucket wagon probably can sell better than that. At least rust & dents on a car looks more manly than that.

Totally agree with these guys. I support this whole crushing of a hoon's car. In theory. But then in theory, Communism works too... I'll eat my own words if I see they go ahead & crush some over-sized 4x4s driven by soccer mums whom I see doing "reckless" driving on a daily basis.

I got flashed once by a red light camera at a intersection when the traffic light had turned green! wtf?! Funny thing was, as I was getting flashed the soccer mum behind saw the flash & totally slammed on the brakes & ended up stopping in the middle of the intersection. Dumb b*tch Which brings to my WGMG; the same old one: Soccer mum drivers, can't drive for crap espeically the ones in over-sized 4x4s. Also the new whole hoon laws are getting out of hand.

Does this have anything to do with this? From one of the PDF posted there: "Rather than empowering a member of the Police Force to impound a vehicle, if he or she reasonably suspects that a “hoon” offence or an impounding offence (driver’s licence) has been committed, the amendments will impose a duty upon the member to impound the vehicle unless it is not practicable in the circumstances to do so." Looks like some people are already thinking of ways to abusing their newly given power, before its even given to them! <sigh>

Vote No In Adelaidenow's "hoon Poll/car Crushing"
Mayuri Krab replied to JayMei's topic in South Australia
Should be the otherway around; should crush all the bloody sh*t boxes that gets impounded, like hyundai crappy excel, wtf do you want to sell those crap off, who in their right minds wants to buy them any way, espically a trashed one? I'll gladly support this crushing business, if they will start crushing those bloodly oversized 4x4s driven by idiot soccer mums, who don't know the road rules. -
Come to WA, so you don't have to worry about the P-plater laws changing every week

Whats Best Battery For R33?
Mayuri Krab replied to noobcake's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I just bought a standard battery off RAC battery service for $100ish when my old one died. Works fine, although I don't have any fancy audio gear. Just a weak sub powered by a piss weak 80w RMS amp + stock speakers. -
"Do You Wish The R35 Came In Manual?" No as I don't have a manual license.

Automatic R33 Gts-t Vs Type R Integra Dc2
Mayuri Krab replied to AutoRocket's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I'll depends on the driver, if the driver for the Type-R is skilled in launch & gear changes then Type-R probably tiny bit faster. But if you talking about average day people then auto GTS-T will probably own, as said above auto boxes are easy to do drags with & you get perfect shift everytime. -
How did they even manage to hit that at that angle? I mean you gotta be trying pretty hard to land a hit in that position. I was expecting the usual "head in wall/pole"...

What You Hate About Your Skyline Thread
Mayuri Krab replied to jakez88's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Rant about my R33 GTS-T Auto The 2 wind screen water spray thingy, the hole in those things aren't lined up properly to my windscreen & it shoots water on to the top of my car rather than on the window screen. Whats so great about putting the battery in the boot? I want more boot space! The auto shift points for the auto transmission is set too high for normal driving even without the power mode. When it is in 2nd, it won't change by itself to 3rd until I'm going at 70km/h. Have to 'manually' change the gears with my foot. Thats not very "automatic" at all! They should have a "granny" setting for the auto transmission (with normal & power settings), where it goes changes gears at 20, 40 & 60km/h like the camry. Radio reception is crap, even my mum's old VN without extending the antenna gets better reception compared to this car with the antenna all the way up. Finally not a big fan of climate control A/C units, more senors, more complex means more easier to break & more stuff to break & more costly to fix. I still haven't got around in fixing mine. Bring on the old style A/C units, were you either get full heat or full cold I don't need or care about fine adjustments on temperature, when it gets too cold I'll just turn it off! End rant. EDIT: Having ranted all that, its still the best auto car I have driven in the <$10k range & I won't change it for anything else (other than a better conditioned skyline, if I can find one) in that price range. -
hhmm... says on that chart that the idle pressure should be 1 kg/cm^2 for a RB25DET. My car seem to idle at the 2kg/cm^2 mark, the gauge always stay on the line between the 0 & the 4 (see picture), unless that line means 1 & not 2? needle is at the read arrow mark when car is in idle (warm engine). The other 2 values given in the table (2000 & 6000rpm) seems consistent with my car. I'm getting paranoid now, does that mean I have a pressure problem as well? Or just inaccurate gauge?
-
Should be something like this: During initial start up should read ~6kg/cm^2 when engine is cold. After it warms up it should be around 2 - 6kg/cm^2, depending on driving load. I found mine idles at 2kg/cm^2 when engine is warm & goes up to 4kg/cm^2 under normal A to B driving.

Need Help, My V35 Has Been Crashed
Mayuri Krab replied to Tom0956's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
+1, I always do this. Also don't you hate it when you picked like the most far away & remote location in a shopping center car park to park & when you come back you find a sh*t box rust bucket parked next to you (when there are like a million other spots available closer to the shops), then you have to do a detailed check around your car for like 10 minutes. -
Hey guys, as the title says my car is having a slight idling issue. 1st of the Car is a very stock R33 GTS-T auto, only mods worth mentioning is the BOSCH in-tank fuel pump that was fitted when my stock one died a while back & some unknown brand fart cannon. The problem is, while the engine is warm, every time I start the car up (like turn the engine off & restart it), the car idles low (rev meter reads just over 500rpm), if you put you hand on the steering wheel, you can feel it shake a bit every couple of seconds and every time it shakes you can hear the exhaust sort of like "coughs" but I don't see any fluctuation of the rpm. This only occurs when the car is completely stationary, once it gets going all the above problem disappears, & the above problem will only last for about 3minutes or so. IE if I drove around for a while and stop at the next set of traffic lights, all the idling problem disappears, idle rev is back to ~750rpm (which I read from another post is the correct idling rpm for a stock car), no steering wheel shake or exhaust "cough". And the problem will not return (I once waited in line at a petrol station for a good 10 minutes or so & it was idling fine) until I turn the engine off & restart again (provided the engine is still warm) then it will do the whole problem again & then the problem will again disappear after a couple of minutes. Other than that, I haven't notice anything else wrong with the car, the idling issue doesn't seem to be causing problems for anything else, my fuel economy is still about the same (11L-15L/100km), acceleration still feels the same as before etc etc. I did a bit of search on idling issues & came up with the AAC valve thing getting dirty causing idling issues. Could anything else cause the above problems? I'm going to Hyper Drive hopefully after the Uni exams (2wks time) to get a turbo back exhaust fited & a boost gauge installed and seeing how I'm completely useless at any kind of mechnical work I figured I'll just pay them to clean the AAC valve thing for me. So I was wondering if people can add any other potential thing that could be causing the above problem so I can add it to the list & get them to check/fix it as well. Thanks

Awesome What is the original movie that clip is from though? I've seen that Hitler clip used in a variety of "Hitler's shows" on youtube.
-
After fitting the new fuel pump & reseting the stock ECU, with the latest batch of fuel, my fuel economy seem to have increased a bit into the 11.xL/100km range EDIT: That now puts it on par with the plain Camry
-
I had a Bosch in-take pump fitted to my car after my original pump died as well. One thing I have found, was that my new pump is a lot louder compared to my original Nissan pump. You can hear it pumping when you have the doors open. Otherwise its working all fine.

Wtf Timing On Pm's Why? Why? Why?
Mayuri Krab replied to Curmi's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
My Skyline robbed me of all my money EDIT: Sorry, I'm bored from preparing for my Uni exams -
My old bare 3rd party was just over $300 (no fire & theft though) with Just Car, I was on Ps, was 21 & have no fines. JC also quoted $550ish for fire & theft so I would say it would be around $300 to $400 for you depending on where you live & stuff.

Probably got the license directly transfered from her own country's driver license. EDIT: Which I believe is probably bought from the Police Back to topic, was the 4x4 driven by a soccer mum?
