  1. My stomach has grown a resistance to this kind of thing from constantly eating food thats being prepared with 1/2 arsed to no hygiene in mind & drinking tap water thats not really "safe" during my childhood years in China. Good times, good times
  2. Has the story being youtubed yet?
  3. I have some general 235/40/18 all round & I was told to fill them up to 38 to 40psi.
  4. Cool, thanks for the info I always fuel up on RON98 (BP ultimate or Caltex Vortex 98) so its all good in that department.
  5. You missed out that it appears to be GMG in colour too
  6. That guy sounded alot like me when I went to buy my R33 . When I got into the car with my dad for a test drive we took off super slow around the block going at granny pace (about 25 to 30 in a 50 zone), after when we came back, the owner offered to take me for a spin around the block. She thought I had driven easy coz I wasn't familar with the area, her guess was way off; I have always being taught to drive like a granny. & when I got in for the 2nd time, she just totally floored it around the block & that scared the sh*t out of me .
  7. JB hi fi does cd/dvd scratch fixings I believe & many video stores does them too. However I'm not very sure on how effective they are.
  8. What ram are you using? Did you adjust your FSB:DRAM ratio so that your Ram isn't OCed together with your CPU? If you can't up your Voltages then consider dropping the OC a bit on the CPU. As depending on the luck of the draw your particular CPU probably needs a bump up in voltage. My Q6600 OCed to 3Ghz needed a small bump in voltage. Also what mobo are you using? Whats the stock speed for a 2600xt?
  9. For my car, it came on when the needle is like about 1/2cm or so under the E line. & I only know this because when I picked up my car from the panel shop, they pretty much drained all the fuel out & I was driving on empty .
  10. Well if a cop wants to defect you, he WILL find a way to sticker you.
  11. Hey guys, Recently my fuel pump died & the mechanic replaced it with a Bosch in-tank pump, seeing how it was cheaper compared to OEM Nissian pumps. When I went to pick up the car, he mention something about, I should try & keep the tank 1/2 full, something about the pump being submerged in fuel to help it in cooling, where if I let the fuel level too low & the pump is exposed too much it may overheat? Does this sound right? If it were true does that mean I have effectively crippled my millage range down to 1/2? I usually fuel up when I'm at the 1/4 mark. Would this cause the pump to overheat & thus damaging it? The people with Bosch in-tank pumps, what are your thoughts on this? Do you keep your tank >1/2 full all the time? Cheers.
  12. Interested in how you did it as well, mine is making that screeching sound from time to time during start up. Seems to happen more frequently when the surrounding temperature is cold.
  13. I found it fine, its got more leg room behind compared to my dad's Mazda ute & my friends 180sx (man that car has like no room in the back...). But its tiny compared to ur family cars like camry & commodores etc etc.
  14. Do you have an after market steering wheel installed? If you do, then theres a chance that the after market boss kit isn't HICAS compilable that or the HICAS sensor in the boss kit isn't connected properly. This happens in my car.
  15. Do you know what motherboard you are using? I take it you are using on board audio, which is usually a Realtek based audio controller. Go to device manager & check the "sound, video & game controllers".
  16. Just picked up my replacement laptop from RAC yesterday after my original one was stolen. Model: Asus M51SN-AS068G Mobo: Intel 965 chipset based mobo CPU: Intel C2D T9500 @ 2.6Ghz Ram: 3Gb (1 + 2) DDR 2 @ 667Mhz Monitor: 15.4" 1440x900 GPU: 512Mb Geforce 9500GSm HDD: 320Gb Optical drive: 2x Blue ray drive + DVD-writer OS used: Vista Ultimate Misc: Built in digital TV tuner, Asus branded notebook mouse.
  17. Sorry for slight off topic, but When is this on? & what channel? I haven't touched Free-to-air TV for years, kinda left behind in the dark... Interested in checking it out. I liked the UK series (which I watched some episodes on internet TV).
  18. Got cheapish "Blaze" branded USB HD TV-Tuner from JB Hi-Fi (for under $100), the included TV software is complete garbage, but the driver installed fine & I'm using the Windows Media center component of Vista to tuning all the channels & it worked all fine. The other thing to note, is the included little indoor antenna is completely useless as well, besides picking up SBS, it can't pick up anything. Currently I'm using a indoor antenna with the power boost function that I bought from Dick Smith; have to set the boost signal all the way up to max otherwise I'll lose reception to all channels except SBS. Not the best hardware purchase I have made, but in the end it works I guess. EDIT: Added price.
  19. Have you seen the desk-notes withs dual graphics cards & dual HDDs in RAID?
  20. On board graphics? Back to playing AOE3 for some reason.
  21. Agreed I found that I drive more carefully when there are people around or in the car, as I don't want any extra unwanted attention. You get too much unwanted attention from douche bags screaming "do a burn out!!!" just driving normally pass by, don't need to make it worse by doing it. Finally I don't see the point for a burn out, bloody waste of tires (& $; might as well just throw $ down the toilet) & the burnt rubber smell makes me dizzy OH DEAR GOD... How fast were they going?!
  22. If you got your license in a state without the car restrictions (like WA) then you can legally drive it, otherwise you are VERY screwed when they catch you & your mate will probably get a massive lecture for "letting you drive" from the cops as well. Especially true during the public holiday times.
  23. My stock auto car is constantly using between 12.5 to 15.5L per 100km depending on the driving conditions. Guessing the auto transmission is sucking up all the fuel...
  24. Is it the added fire & theft one? If it is, it should be covered. Thats horrible, sorry to hear about that hope it gets all sorted for you. Best of of luck on that. Serious?! I'm hiding my keys (& wallet) from now on.
  25. Agreed. The only ones who drives my car besides me are my parents & I trust them both since they are more granny drivers compared to me, the only thing I need to tell them about is to let the engine continue to run for about 1/2 min b4 switching it off (don't have a turbo timer), to let the turbo cool down a bit (which probably isn't even need, since with their granny driving style, turbo never hits boost ). Other than those 2, I don't let anyone else drive.
